Hello Cake Pocket RabbitThe Pocket Rabbit from Hello Cake promises to be a tiny but mighty version of the ever-popular rabbit vibrator. Does this rabbit live up to its powerful promises, or will you want to put this rabbit back in the hat? Read my review to find out.

Key Takeaways
3.5 out of 5 stars

The Pocket Rabbit has a really great design…considering the limitations of its size. Starting off with the things I liked, I thought the internal dildo was a very nice shape. Personally, I love it when sex toys have very tapered tips to make the insertion easier. The rabbit attachment was great, too. Not only do the ears feel delightful as they caress the clit, but the toy can be maneuvered so that you can grind up against the rabbit’s nose as well.

As I say, though, some trade-offs have to be made, and the small size means that it isn’t particularly comfortable to hold, especially while pressing the button. Since the handle is so small, it’s hard getting your fingers around it so that you can hold it in place enough to press the one and only button. If you typically like to stay on just one stimulation, that won’t be a big deal, but if you like to explore multiple sensations in one session, then the awkward button placement will get old pretty fast. One good thing, though, is that the button is quite responsive, so I was never stuck mashing away at it while nothing happened.

Who Should Try It? If you want a rabbit vibrator to take with you on your travels, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better option than this. It has all the power and intensity of the rabbits you already know and love, but will much more easily fit in your carry-on, or anywhere else discretion is paramount.

Who Can Skip It? If you’re a beginner, don’t be lured in by its adorable design and low price. This rabbit is powerful, even on its lowest intensity levels.

You Can Buy It on the official Hello Cake website for $30.

What Is The Pocket Rabbit?

The Pocket Rabbit by Hello Cake is exactly what it sounds like: a classic rabbit vibrator that’s been shrunk down to an adorable 4.9”. If you’re unfamiliar with the concept of rabbit toys, they’re effectively a vibrating dildo with an attachment to stimulate your clitoris via the “ears” and/or “nose”, depending on the shape.

First Impressions and Features

Unboxing

The box was perfectly nice. I love the way the “Hello” in the Hello Cake logo looks like a little crown above the C. The language on the box is a little silly (“A mighty powerful fun-sized toy for her”), but at least it isn’t confusing. Well, except the part that says, “Keep away from sharp objects or  .” Or what, Hello Cake? Or what?!?!

An example of the weird writing on the box

The packaging has quite a lot of plastic, which I am not a fan of. But other than that, the packaging is fine. I like the included instruction manual, as well as the matching charging cable.

My Personal Experience

Design

The Pocket Rabbit has a really great design…considering the limitations of its size. Starting off with the things I liked, I thought the internal dildo was a very nice shape. Personally, I love it when sex toys have very tapered tips to make the insertion easier. The rabbit attachment was great, too. Not only do the ears feel delightful as they caress the clit, but the toy can be maneuvered so that you can grind up against the rabbit’s nose as well. In that regard, it reminded me a little of the Wild Lust, a past favorite.

As I say, though, some trade-offs have to be made, and the small size means that it isn’t particularly comfortable to hold, especially while pressing the button. Since the handle is so small, it’s hard getting your fingers around it so that you can hold it in place enough to press the one and only button. If you typically like to stay on just one stimulation, that won’t be a big deal, but if you like to explore multiple sensation in one session, then the awkward button placement will get old pretty fast. Material

The Pocket Rabbit is made of soft silicone. While it isn’t particularly squishy, it is flexible.

The rabbit ears

Stimulations

The internal and external components each have their own motor, so the rabbit isn’t just bouncing around in response to what the dildo is doing. Unfortunately, the internal and external parts can’t be controlled independently of each other, so they’re always moving in tandem.

The Pocket Rabbit has ten stimulations, three of which are increases in intensity, seven of which are patterns. The internal and external motors felt equally powerful, so both parts will get a lot of love from this rabbit!

The insertable arm

And when I say “powerful”, I do mean powerful. This toy will definitely not be ideal for a beginner or anyone who might be sensitive. While I appreciate a toy with a lot of patterns, having ten (or even seven) basic vibrations that had a wide variation in speeds would have made this toy more accessible. However, if you are using it for travel and just want to use it quickly and discreetly, it will definitely leave you satisfied, if not outright overwhelmed. So, while it might not be ideal for slow, sensual self-care sessions, it absolutely gets the job done.

Sound Level

The sound level was pretty quiet, which was fitting for such a discreet toy.

Build Quality and Dimensions

As with the Pocket Wand, I was very impressed by the quality. Between its thoughtful design and its ten powerful vibrations, this little rabbit has absolutely raised my standards for what I expect from a budget model.

The device charging

With a height of 4.9 in, a diameter of 1.26 in, and an insertable length of 3.7 in, the Pocket Rabbit is definitely the smallest rabbit I’ve tried, with most of them being between seven and nine inches. It will easily fit in a carry-on or a nightstand drawer—really, anywhere you want to keep it discreet.

Ease of Use

Because of its size, the Pocket Rabbit wasn’t particularly easy to use. Having the one button on the bottom meant that holding and pressing it while the toy was inserted posed a bit of a challenge. But for something this small, that’s impossible to avoid. Also, the button was responsive, so there wasn’t a lot of unnecessary fumbling.

Versatility

I found that this rabbit was pleasurable both inside and outside, thanks in large part to its dual motors. The outer attachment felt a little bit more powerful than the internal dildo, but both sensations were quite intense. As I say, it’s likely too intense for a beginner, even at the lower power levels.

Warranty and Support

If you’re unhappy with your toy and report the issue within thirty days, Hello Cake will offer you a refund, credit, or a replacement for the product.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

My only issue with the Pocket Rabbit was how awkward it was to press the button while using it. However, with a product this shape and size, that’s an unavoidable issue.

Review Summary

The Pocket Rabbit is everything it sets out to be. It’s a powerful, pleasurable rabbit vibrator that delivers major satisfaction…and happens to be absolutely tiny. While its small size has some unavoidable drawbacks, namely the fact that the functionality is a bit limited and there’s no easy way to press the button while using it, I really can’t imagine a better version of this toy.

Pros

  • 10 stimulations
  • Extremely powerful
  • Small and discreet

Cons

  • Awkward to hold while using it
  • Sensations are too powerful to suit everyone’s needs

Alternatives to the Pocket Rabbit

Wild Lust

The Pocket Rabbit reminded me of the Wild Lust. Its diameter is roughly the same (1.25 in., compared to Pocket Rabbit’s 1.26 in.), but at 8 in long, it’s a much more typical size, meaning it’s easier to hold than the Pocket Rabbit. Like the Pocket Rabbit, the rabbit attachment has a sloped nose you can grind up against if the ears just aren’t doing it for you. It also has dual motors and ten vibration modes. While the dildo is also tapered at the tip, it also has a highly textured shaft, a feature I personally appreciated more than the Pocket Rabbit’s smooth shaft.

Bang! Dual Stimulation Vibrator

At 7 inches, the Bang! is bigger than the Pocket Rabbit, but still quite small for an average vibe. One thing I liked about the Bang! is that instead of having a rabbit attachment with proper ears, it just has a flat surface to grind up against, meaning there’s a lot less awkward maneuvering. It also has dual motors and 10 vibration patterns. It even has an LED screen that shows which stimulation you’re currently on, as well as battery power. Did the LED screen add a lot to my personal enjoyment? Not really, but I can see some people really enjoying this feature, especially during partner play.
