So, when some of my favorite creators started doing sponsorships with Bellesa, I was intrigued as to whether it was actually worth trying their FlutterVibe. Read my review to find out.
Unfortunately, this design simply did not agree with my anatomy. First of all, the internal component felt very nice, with its egg shape and tapered tip. However, it did not want to stay inside me. Unlike a traditional vibrator, it didn’t have a handle I could use to keep it in place, and unlike an actual egg vibrator, it didn’t stay put by being inserted fully inside me. The more I moved the toy around to try and get the tongue in place, the more the internal part kept slipping out.
The external tongue was also uncomfortable to use. Every clit is different, and tongue vibrators are especially tricky to line up just right. Well, having this toy attached to the internal component (and without any sort of handle to maneuver it with) made it impossible for me to line it up exactly where it needed to go. Taking out the internal part didn’t help, because the curved shape still made it difficult to hold and position normally.
It’s also just awkward to hold and press the buttons. Because of where the buttons are placed, it’s almost impossible to press them without mashing down on the tongue stimulator, so you have to brace it against your hand while pressing the buttons with your thumb. And whether you’ll press the correct button is anyone’s guess. Add in a bit of lube, and the situation was hopeless as far as I was concerned.
Who Should Try It? FlutterVibe provides dual stimulation, but uses a fluttering tongue. So, if regular vibration doesn’t do it for you, then maybe this toy is the way to go.
Who Can Skip It? Design flaws aside, the FlutterVibe is not super powerful on either side. If you need a strong vibrator, or an external component you can really grind up against, then this is not the toy for you.
You Can Buy It on the official Bellesa website for $79.
What Is The Bellesa FlutterVibe?
The Bellesa FlutterVibe has both an internal and external component. However, unlike a traditional rabbit vibrator, it has a curved shape, with a vibrating dildo on one end and a fluttering tongue on the other.
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
I have to say, the packaging is lovely. The box features a little picture of the FlutterVibe and lists some of its standout features. It has a magnetic closure, which always feels a little extra luxurious. It even has small details that I really appreciated. For example, the plastic packaging has a little space to slide your finger under the product to pop it out, as well as a little indent in the corner, allowing you to lift the packaging out of the box. If only the rest of the toy had been designed so mindfully!
It comes in a charging case, which is very handy and hygienic. While the case isn’t small, it is still much more discreet than charging a normal toy out in the open. Everything about Bellesa’s presentation was lovely, and while this toy didn’t work out for me, I will be interested to try more of their products.

How Do I Use The FlutterVibe?
The FlutterVibe comes with a charging cable and a charging case. Make sure the magnetic pins on the toy are lined up with the pins in the case (it can take a bit of squeezing to get the toy into the proper shape to fit), then plug the charging cable into the case.
- Once the LED light next to the charging port glows steadily, you can unplug it and take the toy out.
- To turn it on, press the power button.
- To turn on and explore the internal vibrations, press the button with the jagged lines.
- To turn off the internal vibrations, either press the power button to turn off the toy completely, or press the button 6 times (pressing it a 7th time will make it start back on the first stimulation).
- To turn on and explore the tongue stimulations, press the button with the pair of lips.
- To turn off the tongue stimulations, either press the power button to turn off the toy completely, or press the button 6 times (pressing it a 7th time will make it start back on the first stimulation).
- To turn off the toy entirely, long hold the power button.
My Personal Experience
Design
Material
The FlutterVibe is made from soft silicone. It isn’t particularly squishy, but it can be bent into a slightly different shape. I still wasn’t able to bend it so that it would conform to my anatomy, but it is somewhat customizable.
Stimulations
Both the internal vibe and the external tongue stimulator have 5 modes, none of which are patterns. Bellesa seems to make this a point of pride, but as a fan of patterns, I felt I was missing out a bit.
Even at its most intense, the FlutterVibe isn’t super strong, either internally or externally. Now, I’m biased because I really enjoy grinding up against a sex toy, but the swipes of the tongue attachment just didn’t do much for me.
Sound Level
The FlutterVibe isn’t super quiet, especially the tongue component. So while the charging case keeps it discreet, the volume level…does not.
Build Quality and Dimensions
For all my issues with the FlutterVibe, it did look and feel lovely and luxurious. At 3.1” x 3.4”, it’s quite compact, and fits snugly in its case.
Ease of Use
While the button system was intuitive, actually using the FlutterVibe was a hassle. From the way it didn’t quite line up with my anatomy to the way the internal component kept falling out, to the way I kept pressing the wrong button (when I was able to get enough of a grip to press a button at all), I found this vibrator very difficult to use.
Versatility
The FlutterVibe is quite versatile, since it has both an internal and external component.
Warranty and Support
Bellesa has a 10-year guarantee on all items purchased from their store.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
Where to begin? There’s the awkward button placement, the fact that I couldn’t get the internal egg and the external tongue in the right places at the same time, and the fact that the egg kept falling out. But, you know, other than that…
Review Summary
While the packaging and presentation of the FlutterVibe were absolutely lovely, actually using the vibrator proved to be an uncomfortable ordeal, and it just did not work for me. The design made it impossible to get the internal and external components going at the same time, the buttons were a hassle to press, and worst of all, the toy kept sliding out of me. So, maybe don’t listen to your favorite creators on this one.
Pros
- Looks lovely
- Comes with a charging case
- Internal and external stimulation with dual motors
- Tongue stimulator instead of a traditional vibrator
Cons
- Shape won’t fit everyone’s body
- Buttons are hard to press without also pressing down on the external stimulator
- No patterns
- A little loud
Alternatives to the Bellesa FlutterVibe
Pika Flora Pro
This toy had me longing for the Pika Flora Pro, another licking toy with an internal bullet/egg vibe attached. The main thing that makes the Flora Pro superior in my opinion is that the two aspects of the toy are connected by a long, thin piece of silicone, giving you total control over where you place them. The bullet attachment also has a thrusting motion, making it much more exciting than a basic vibe. It is a lot less discreet, but discretion isn’t always necessary.
Lovehoney Dual Embrace
The Lovehoney Dual Embrace offers the same things as the FlutterVibe, plus way more customization. Its external component has three detachable heads, one for suction, one for pulsation, and one for licking (though our reviewer was not a fan of the tongue attachment). But the fun doesn’t end there, since the internal component has G-spot vibrations and internal pulsations.
