Why You Should Trust Us

For this article, I pre-selected 25 male masturbators based on affordability, which we reviewed in a month-long testing exercise. Of the original 25, only 8 made it through our rigorous test process. Because of our strict testing process, we are confident that this list only has the highest-rated products!
How We Picked the Products
For this article, I pre-selected 25 male masturbators solely based on affordability. While most people think cheap male sex toys are synonymous with low quality, in most cases, it means that the products are just more affordable for people on a budget.
During the selection process, I filtered out strokers made from unhygienic and porous materials; for some reason, there were a lot. The material was a priority because safety is always at the center of our reviews. I also defined test criteria that we could measure on a scale from 0 to 100.
In a month-long exercise, I distributed the products to my male colleagues for review. The testers submitted a report with specific pointers that set the affordable male sex toys apart. I also used notes from my testing to identify similarities with my colleagues’ reports. This way, I could reduce the number of masturbators from twenty-five to twelve.
During testing, we rated each test criterion on a percentage scale from 0% (Worst) to 100% (Best). We then calculated the overall score using different weighted metrics depending on the importance of the test criteria. Half the total rating comes from Price & Value (25%) and Stimulations (25%). After that come Design (10%), Materials (10%), and Settings (10%).
I also looked up reviews from major vendors and user accounts from sex toy forums. Finally, I compared my notes to the third-party views, which helped to further narrow the number to the eight best cheap masturbators.
Everything We Tested
In this chapter, you can see a comparison table with all the products we tested. As you can see, each row has the test criteria our team used during the testing. To make our testing process even more transparent, we also included the raw test data so you can see how the products performed with each test criterion.

1. Fleshlight Quickshot Vantage: Overall Test Winner!
Why we love Quickshot Vantage:
We tested numerous cheap male masturbators for the article, and the Quickshot Vantage’s competitive pricing, performance, and versatility made it the best cheap masturbator. It only costs $34.95, making it a massive bargain for budget seekers. Most of the products we tested were well over $50, which can be a tough ask for someone looking to explore the diverse world of male masturbators.
Another exciting aspect of the experience was the design. The compact sleeve is only 3.5 inches long, leaving room at the end for additional stimulation. “My husband and I loved the sleeve because I could tickle his penis head with my fingers and mouth during foreplay,” our product test lead, Sandra Larson, wrote in her test report. “He also has a super sensitive frenulum, and keeping the sleeve off the head while stroking was excellent.”
Our testers loved that they could use the masturbator without the small case (as shown in the image above). This way, the squishy material felt more natural. In addition, the sleeve-free look meant you could regulate the intensity with your grip. It also allowed the user to enjoy the experience more by rotating and stroking the sleeve to match their mood and sexual excitement. The best part is that the material is see-through, giving you and your partner a clear view of your penis during foreplay or mutual masturbation.
Note: The plastic case and end caps also made storage straightforward. “My partner and I travel often, and Vantage’s case means the experience is blissful.
We also appreciated Quickshot’s corkscrew texture. The well-spaced internal bumps massaged about 3.5″ of the penis, making the sensations more intense. I don’t know how to describe the feeling, but we loved the crisscrossing texture because it made the experience intense during the in-stroke and out-stroke. “The bumps varied in height and girth throughout the cavity, making stroking more intense,” Shane Davis commented.
Its compact size also makes the model ideal for vacationers. Hiding it away in the house or your travel bag is no issue. The small size also means the lightweight male masturbator is suitable for different users, even those who might find regular male masturbators too cumbersome.
Lastly, the versatile product is ideal for singles and couples looking to add spice to the bedroom. Our testers complimented its efficiency in solo masturbation and partnered sex. You can also use it for deepthroat training if you’re worried that taking your man’s penis in its entirety can be overwhelming.
Note: The dynamism was evident in the twin orifice look that lets you enter from either end. Cleaning was also straightforward because you could quickly run water through the tunnel and wash off the body fluids and dirt.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, most people, especially those looking for a model offering full-on sensations, will find the 3.5″ usable length a bit limiting.
In addition, the open-ended design draws mixed reactions depending on who you ask. While it simplifies cleaning and lets you use the male masturbator from either end, it means making a mess is inevitable. Unlike the closed-ended sleeves, you must be wary of splashing body fluids.

- Usable Length: 3.5″
- Diameter: 0.85″

- The best rated among the review samples
- Compact, non-descript body.
- It is ideal for solo play and partnered sex.
- Captivating corkscrew texture.
- The open sleeve leaves room for additional stimulation.
- Cleaning is easy.
Cons:
- It’s not ideal for girthier users.
- Unavoidable mess because of the open sleeve.
2. THRUST Pro Mini Ella: Cheapest!
Why we love THRUST Pro Mini Ella:
For $19.99, THRUST Pro Mini Ella is the cheapest male masturbator you’ll get without compromising too much quality. It’s not as good as Quickshot Vantage above, but we found it decent enough for the price point, and its compact design made it a good option for different users, including regular travelers and people who find standard strokers too complicated.
Our testers especially liked the simplistic yet practical design, with the realistic labia on the opening and rugged texture on the outside for better grip. Unlike most sleeves, it came without a plastic case, making it easier to travel with and significantly simplifying the user experience by allowing for intensity regulation with your grip.
It also has a tiny pouch at the base that allows you to add a vibrating bullet for the extra buzz (as seen in the image below). “I tried different bullets in our collection, and the vibrations, though not as impactful, spread decently around the head of the penis,” says Tim Larson. “The simplistic approach and closeness to the tip made the experience blissful,” Tim added.
As expected, the product was not the most stimulating option in the article, but it still delivered a decent experience. Our team noted the lack of suction power because there was no adjustable cap and a case like regular sleeves. However, the brand made it easy to regulate the excitement with the user’s grip. Considering it only cost $20, we found the twists and textures inside the cavity made stroking more fun. And especially for people who are used to doing it by hand, the model is a supreme upgrade.
Although the internal length is only 5 inches, and people with a more extended member might find the tip popping out problematic, it’s nothing you can’t work around. After all, it’s longer than the Quickshot Vantage, and adding a bullet vibrator at the end helps amplify the sensation quality.
Note: The male testers considered the buzz dull even after trying different vibrating bullets. The sensations the buzz adds are underwhelming, mainly because the sleeve is designed for stroking and not concentrating on a single spot.
Our testers also thought the build quality was decent and rated it as ‘average’ for a budget male masturbator. The TPE material might not be the pinnacle of sex toy engineering, but it gave the model flesh-like sensations that made the massage on the penis more blissful. The stretchy consistency wraps your entire penis with a stimulating texture, making stroking more exciting. In addition, we thought the designer paid attention to detail with the grooves on the outside, realistic labia (close-up in the image above), and textured cavity.
Lastly, the versatile pick was easy to use. There was no confusion about how to use it: slide and get to stroking. Plus, there was so much more to the model than putting your member inside and straddling your big O. The caseless design made it more handy and gave the user more control than most Fleshlight sleeves. In addition, everything else, including the compact design, low price, and tremendous texture, makes THRUST Pro Mini Ella stand out.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the bullet’s vibrations felt dull to my liking, and I’m positive most people share my sentiments. If you’re looking for something with a fully vibrating cavity, you might have to look for something pricier.
It only has a 5-inch internal length, which can be limiting for most people, especially those with an extended penis.
If you want to see what THRUST Pro Mini Ella looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE)
- Diameter: 0.25″
- Usable Length: 5″
Pros:
- The cheapest pick – $19.99.
- Improved quality of sensations.
- Simplistic yet effective design.
- The compact size is easy to conceal.
- It’s easy to use.
Cons:
- Short length might be limiting for people with a longer-than-average penis.
- The vibrations from the bullet were dull.
3. Kiiroo PowerShot: Best Cheap App-Controlled Masturbator!
Why we love the Kiiroo PowerShot:
Kiiroo PowerShot impressed us as the only truly app-controlled masturbator under $100 that combined power, ease of use, and smart design. Many cheap connected devices looked appealing at first, but fell apart in testing, with weak vibrations or glitchy apps. The PowerShot separated itself immediately.
The dual motors are the first reason it won this category. Most strokers in this price range cut corners with a single motor, often too weak to be satisfying. The PowerShot’s two rumbly motors provided surprisingly strong stimulation, and when paired with the squeezable shell, our testers found they could control intensity in a way that felt closer to premium devices.
Second, the app integration actually added value. Through the FeelConnect app, our testers created and saved custom patterns, synced the toy with interactive videos, and even used the stamina training feature. For men working on edging and control, this was more than a novelty. At $79, nothing else offered this level of functionality. While toys like the Lovense Gush 2 and LELO F2S have more polished apps, both cost well over $100. The PowerShot gave the essentials at less than half the price, which made it the smartest choice for buyers wanting connected features without overspending.
Third, we appreciated the modular design. The PowerShot is not a disposable budget toy but part of a larger Kiiroo system. You can upgrade later with the Keon Automatic Stroker or Power Blow attachment. This made it a future-proof choice, perfect for anyone curious about app-connected devices but not ready to commit to high-end pricing.
Taken together, the PowerShot won this category because it was powerful, practical, and expandable. It was the cheapest app-controlled masturbator that worked well, and it was the only one that felt like a serious piece of tech at this price.
A Good Alternative: Hot Octopuss JETT
Hot Octopuss JETT is a decent option if you want vibrations without the app control. Unlike other models we tested, the stroker offered users a unique blend of Bass and Treble vibrations. The lower-frequency Bass churned out intense wobbles, injecting deep into the penis seamlessly. The gripping feeling felt harmless initially, but we quickly learned it was more impactful than we initially thought. “It took a minute or so for Tim to require a reset, and we had to turn the JETT off so he could get his act together,” Sandra Larson commented. “Luckily, each vibrator had five patterns and speeds to choose from, so it was easy to ease his way into the thrill.”
You can read our comprehensive Hot Octopuss JETT review here.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Just like Quickshot above, the main limitation is the stimulation zone. Because of its narrow ring design, the PowerShot only vibrates against one portion of the shaft at a time. Our testers noted that this left the tip or the base less stimulated, depending on the position. Larger users may also find it too tight. The app worked well after re-downloading, but setup was not flawless on the first try. Finally, it is not suitable for men with erectile dysfunction since you need a firm erection to use it comfortably.
If you want to see what Kiiroo PowerShot looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Dual vibrating motors
- Removable TPE inner sleeve with textured canal
- Squeezable silicone casing for adjustable tightness
- App compatibility via FeelConnect (custom patterns, interactive videos, stamina training)
- Modular design compatible with Kiiroo Keon and Power Blow
- USB rechargeable with travel case
- Splash-proof for easier cleaning
Pros:
- Strong dual motors for the price
- Functional app with stamina training and pattern creation
- Squeezable casing for pressure control
- Travel-friendly design with protective case
- Expandable with Kiiroo’s modular ecosystem
Cons:
- Narrow band limits the stimulation area
- Too tight for some users
- Requires an erection to use
- App setup can be tricky on the first attempt
4. Arcwave Ghost: Best Silicone Sleeve!
Why we love Arcwave Ghost:
We tested a wide range of silicone sleeves before settling on the Arcwave Ghost as the best option, and it consistently impressed us. While silicone strokers are often marketed as durable and hygienic, many fell short in our hands-on testing. Some tore easily, others were too sticky, and a few were a nightmare to clean. The Ghost stood out by delivering the right mix of comfort, ease of maintenance, and long-term value.
What makes Ghost unique is its reversible design. With two textures in one, it offers variety that most silicone sleeves do not. As you can see in the image below, one side has a spiral pattern that gently massages, while the other has raised nubs that add a firmer grip to your strokes. This means you get two different sensations in one compact toy, something that no other sleeve in this price range managed to pull off as effectively.
The quality of the silicone deserves special mention. Arcwave’s CleanTech Silicone feels silky, stretches easily, and does not hold on to odors the way cheaper materials do. Cleaning is simple because you can flip the sleeve inside out, and the included case doubles as a drying stand, making it more hygienic than most competitors. In our tests, the Ghost was the only silicone sleeve that felt genuinely low-maintenance while still being satisfying to use.
We also liked that Ghost is practical. Its size and discreet case make it easy to store or travel with, and it is quiet, so you can use it without drawing attention. While it is not as intense as a Fleshlight or other full-sized strokers, it has a natural, blowjob-like quality that was enjoyable session after session. For a toy that costs under twenty dollars, that consistency was a big reason it topped our list.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The Ghost’s short 4-inch canal means that men with larger sizes will not get full coverage. The textures, while clever, can feel a little too subtle if you want high-intensity stimulation. We also noticed that it can become slippery if you use a lot of lube, which sometimes makes it harder to grip tightly. Finally, although silicone is more durable than TPE, the thinness of the sleeve leaves us cautious about how it will hold up after long-term heavy use.
If you want to see what Arcwave Ghost looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Insertable Length: 4″
Pros:
- High-quality silicone sleeve.
- Multiple sleeve textures.
- 100% waterproof.
- A cozy masturbation aid.
- The cheapest silicone sleeve.
- Ideal for travel
Cons:
- It’s not ideal for people with a 4″+ penis.
- The silicone material can be slippery during use.
5. Fleshskins Blue Ice: Most Ergonomic!
Why we love Fleshskins Blue Ice:
Fleshskins Blue Ice stood out among the review samples because of its ergonomic design, with four finger holes (close-up in the image below) that allowed for a better grip during use, giving you better control over the experience. “It looked odd at first, but the knuckle finger look and well-thought-out dimensions soon made sense,” says Tim Larson. “It felt very stable inside the palm, and switching the intensity was cake.”
The masturbator is a good alternative for people who find regular Fleshlight sleeves too bulky. Its lack of outer casing makes it lighter and easier to manipulate, even for people with weaker grip strength or limited mobility. In addition, the see-through material was an excellent addition because it added to the visual appeal. “My husband and I love sex toys that offer unobstructed views of his penis, and the Blue Ice was perfect,” Sandra Larson wrote in her test report.
We also appreciated the slippery texture. According to Tim Larson, it brought her fond memories of a real vagina. The network of bumps and nodules inside the tunnel offers extra sensations to the head and shaft during stroking. Plus, you can regulate the intensity by squeezing your palm.
We tried regulating the intensity with the grip while stroking, and the experience was good overall. The feeling was instant, and a quick squeeze made a world of difference. In addition, switching the fingers tightened the grip further, and when combined with the alternating speed of stroking, the thrill was better than anticipated.
The Superskin is among our favorite materials used by male masturbator designers. Although it felt a bit sticky, and you must dust it with cornstarch regularly, it felt great on the penis. The multiple chambers with changing bumps and ribs underline the brand’s high-quality standards and commitment to customer satisfaction. Other features like the finger holes and the see-through material amplify the attention to detail, making Blue Ice stand out.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The Fleshskins material was a bit tacky, and you’ll need to sprinkle cornstarch regularly to keep it from sticking to the skin.
It only has an insertable length of 5 inches, which means anyone with a longer cock will not have it entirely wrapped during use.
If you want to see what Fleshskins Blue Ice looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: SuperSkin, ABS Plastic
- Sleeve Length: 5.35″
Pros:
- A compact and ergonomic design.
- It’s ideal for solo play and partnered sex.
- Phenomenal build quality.
- Incredibly easy to use.
- The model can fit different shapes and sizes.
- It comes with a drying case.
Cons:
- It can be limiting for people with a longer penis.
- Fluids can leak from the small openings.
Other Good Alternatives

These versatile pieces come in a pack of six, with different textures so that you can sample a new one every day, and it feels like the first time. Whether you want the Stud, Mesh, Ring, Wind, Curl, or Tube, there’s a piece of heaven for every time you use the eggs. The best part is they’re pretty stretchy and will cover more than half your member with minimal pressure.

Whether you need the extra imagination to enjoy masturbation, having a set of boobs and a squishy ass makes the experience more animated and the orgasms more intense. It’s like having sex with a woman but with the luxury of tossing her around for maximum pleasure.

It even has a rounded head to cover the shaft in full and ensure more wholesome orgasms. Our testers also loved the varied texture and pre-lubricated feeling because it helped recreate the feeling of spending the night with a deepthroat queen.
