This vibrator is extremely cute, and in terms of functionality it is easier and more pleasurable to use than I was expecting from something that’s so small. So, why the one star? Well, it had one very, very big problem: the charging cable didn’t plug in. No matter how great a sex toy is otherwise, that’s an immediate no-buy as far as I’m concerned.
Who Should Try It? Anyone who wants a single-use sex toy. Okay, facetiousness aside, if you were guaranteed a toy that worked, its small size (and the fact that it comes with a bag) makes it a good choice for travel, if you’re not too picky and want something cute and simple.
Who Can Skip It? Most people. Even without the charging issue, the size and shape still make it awkward to use. While I was impressed that it was more usable than I was expecting, that’s not exactly a high bar.

What Is The Cherry Emojibator?
The Cherry Emojibator is a simple clitoral vibe designed to look like a cherry. Though not the cherry emoji, which—at least on my iPhone—has two cherries on one stem. The Emojibator branding is a bit confusing to me. The Cherry has 9 vibration modes consisting of 3 regular vibes that increase in intensity and 6 patterns. It is also waterproof.
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
The packaging was a bit of a mixed bag as far as I’m concerned. While the box itself is very cute, with the little cherry drawing and some phone-related theming with their tagline designed to look like it’s being sent as a text message. I also loved the fact that it comes with a bag.
I didn’t love the addition of the packing straw. It also comes with an instruction sheet (good!), which is pressed up against the back of the box and has such a cute design on the opposite side that it’s easily mistaken for being part of the packaging (bad).

How Do I Use The Cherry Emojibator?
- First, charge up your Cherry by…never mind. If your experience was like mine, that’s not an option.
- So, to enjoy it as long as it lasts on a single charge, hold the power button for about two seconds.
- Then press that button to cycle through the 9 vibration modes.
- When you’ve gotten your fill, simply hold the button down for another two seconds.
My Personal Experience
Design
Right away, I didn’t love the fact that you could see the “seam” of the silicone around the stem of the toy. While that’s annoying in a vibrator designed to be eye-catching and adorable, it’s not that big of a deal.
Overall, this design was as good as it could have been. While the Cherry Emojibator is quite small, it wasn’t as uncomfortable to hold as it could have been. The vibrations didn’t travel to my hand as much as they could have. The button isn’t as hard to press as it could have been. Am I damning this product with faint praise? Well, yes, but having tried my fair share of toys, I was genuinely impressed at the effort put into making the toy itself as usable as it could be, given the constraints of having to make it look like a cherry.

The Cherry Emojibator is made out of ABS and body-safe silicone. The silicone is soft and smooth, and does feel nice in the hand and against the clit.
Stimulations
The Cherry Emojibator has 9 vibration modes, 3 of which are normal vibes that increase in intensity and 6 of which are patterns. The vibrations are pretty intense, but unfortunately, because of the design, a lot of those vibrations are going straight to your fingers. Since the toy is so light, it won’t just stay on your clit while it’s vibrating, so if you want to really grind up against it, you’re going to have to hold it in place. And let’s just say, my fingertips are still tingling. While it is small, its rounded shape doesn’t allow for super pinpointed precision either.
Sound Level
The product web page claims the volume level is < 60 dB (think air conditioner hum or dishwasher running nearby). The Cherry Emojibator certainly seemed pretty quiet, and would be a solid choice for a travel toy, considering its size and its accompanying travel bag. Well, it would be a solid choice for a travel toy if it weren’t for the problems I had with the next category.
Build Quality and Dimensions
Let’s get dimensions out of the way. With a length of 4.3 inches including the stem and a width of 1.6 inches, the Cherry Emojibator is very small and light while very narrowly avoiding the “too small to hold comfortably” category.
But let’s talk about the build quality. Now, a toy that fails in any other category I talk about can still be a good toy. A little loud? Not everyone needs a ton of privacy. Not enough stimulation for my taste? Well, not everybody likes patterns anyway. Not versatile? Hey, a Jack of all trades is a master of none. But a toy that fails in the Build Quality category? That’s a different matter.
Even at first glance, I didn’t love the fact that the silicone “seam” was visible, especially on the stem. If a toy is designed for aesthetics over practicality, it needs to look perfect as far as I’m concerned, or else it’s just failing on both fronts.
But the real trouble came when I tried to plug it in. It came with a charging cable and uses a pin charger. I’ve had experiences with pin chargers before (my very first toy had one, and in all my years of using it regularly, I’ve never had a problem). I jabbed the pin into the silicone and…nothing happened. I could feel the toy underneath, but could not get to the corresponding port, no matter how much I wiggled the cable around. In short, I could not pop this cherry.
Now, I am a self-confessed dingus, so naturally I assumed that I was the problem. So, I headed over to the product’s webpage to see if I was the only one with this issue. And I was not. Someone who reviewed Cherry Emojibator on their site encountered the same problem. The company responded with a video on how to plug in the Cherry, but when I followed along (and yes, it should have been as simple as…plugging it in), I still wasn’t able to do it.
It is also worth noting that other reviewers had complaints about the quality of the toy. One person noted that it stopped being able to charge after a while, and another reviewer claimed that they removed the silicone cover to find water buildup on the inside of the cover, and rust along the inner mechanism. While it’s impossible to find a product that everyone would rate highly, it does make sense that if I received a dud (sour?) Cherry, other people did, too.
Ease of Use
Charging issues aside, the Cherry Emojibator was easy to use…considering its design. Because of its size and shape, and the fact that the cherry’s stem was too thin to be used as a proper handle, there’s no way this toy could have been truly comfortable to hold. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the fact that I was able to press the button to change modes while keeping it pressed up against my clit.
Versatility
Since the Cherry Emojibator is meant as a clitoral vibe, it can technically be used on any external erogenous zone. It’s also waterproof.
Warranty and Support
This toy has a 3-year warranty.

Alternatives to the Cherry Emojibator
The Strawberry Emojibator
Credit where it’s due, I liked the Strawberry Emojibator, the other product I tried from this company. Not only is its flatter shape more conducive to clitoral stimulation than the rounded cherry (at least as far as I’m concerned), but it’s dual-ended and has a suction component as well.
The Whisperer
If you’re budget-conscious and want a toy under $50, then the Whisperer by Smile Makers might be your best option. While it’s less whimsical than the Cherry Emojibator, its design makes it a lot easier and more pleasurable to use, since its primary design function is to stimulate your clit, not look cute. Designed specifically for new moms, but perfect for beginners or anyone a little sensitive, this is a great alternative to the Cherry.
