Unboxing
I was excited when I received my unmarked box in the mail containing my FirmTech performance ring. Its packaging really surprised me; it came inside a mesh bag (image below). I have never received a sex toy like this before. Once I opened the bag and found the cylindrical box that it came in, I was impressed. I lifted the lid and peeled back the plastic sealing foil, and my Tech Ring awaited me, mounted on its charging station.
Playing with it in my hands reminded me of a gummy worm candy—Super-soft and stretchy. The device’s design was simple yet elegant, and I knew it would feel good on my dick.

How to Use the FirmTech Tech Ring?
Thankfully, the Firm Tech development team managed to keep such a complex device easy to use through minimalism. As with all penis rings, we recommend doing some landscaping before applying to prevent hairs from being pulled. FirmTech says that small amounts of water-based lube may add comfort for some users. Do not wear the device for more than ten hours.
To put on: simply wrap it around your penis, hard or soft, and fasten the loop around the hold, just like I demonstrate on the dildo in the image below.
Before using your Tech Ring, download the Firm Tech app available in the App Store or Google Play.
- To power on and start recording your session, shortly press the power button found on the side of the device. A blue light will flash until the device is paired with the app.
- Press PAIR on the Firm Tech app, and the light will stop flashing once paired.
- Once paired, you can begin recording your session by pressing the “record a session” button.
- A green light will flash ten times after pressing the “record the session” button. This indicates that the device has unpaired and is recording data.
- To stop recording, hold the power button until a red light flashes three times. This means the recording has stopped, and the Tech Ring has powered off.
- To upload your data, power the device back on and pair it to the Firm Tech app. Once paired, your data will automatically upload to the app. Just ensure you keep the two devices close to each other before the process is finished.

My Personal Experience
Introduction
Anytime a new sex toy arrives, my partner and I are eager to try it out. Even though this penis ring isn’t intended for pleasure, we were excited to measure how much pleasure traveled through my dick. I really liked the packaging. It is minimalistic, effectively reducing waste, and very classy at the same time. Build Quality
FirmTech is a quality product built to a high standard. It feels solid as if it is though it is one solid piece, which I really liked. I didn’t feel like I had to be scared of mishandling or dropping it. I would be mindful about over-stretching it, however. While the ring is thick and appears durable, all elasticity weakens over use and time. So I was very aware not to over-stretch it.
Design
FirmTech’s design of the Tech Ring is simple yet effective. It is the most straightforward cock ring I have ever put on before. I especially liked that you could simply unfasten it and remove it from yourself instantly. It is not overly bulky as you would imagine it to be. Vibrating cock rings can be much larger and more distracting while having sex.
The mono-button interface keeps it as simple as possible, and the lack of charging ports is a real delight.

Materials
The exterior of the FirmTech Cock Ring is made entirely from medical-grade elastomer. It feels gentle on the skin and does not slide around. However, it can grip hairs and tug on them, so remember to keep them trimmed.

- The app could be more user-friendly and straightforward to use.
