Connecting Lovense toys to a Mac is a wee bit tricky but can be done easily if you know the right steps. In this article, we’ll guide you through the complete process and give some tips on what to do in case of technical issues. Let’s go!
Start by creating an account on the Lovense website. Next, download and install the Lovense Connect App. Please turn on your toy in pairing mode and connect it to the app. Finally, download and install the Lovense Cam Extension for Chrome. Use the setup wizard to sync it with the Lovense Connect App.

Step 1. Create an Account
Note: If you purchased your Lovense toy from the official website, you can skip this step because you typically create an account when you buy a toy. You can jump to step number 2.
1. The first step is to create an account on the Lovense website. Navigate to the website and click the “Sign Up” option at the top right corner. Enter your email address and create a secure password to complete the process. Click the “Sign Up” button to finalize the account creation.
2. Lovense will send a verification email to your inbox. To activate your account, click on the link in the email. The verification email should look like the image below:
3. Once your account is verified, log in to your Lovense account using the credentials you’ve just created. Voila! You’re an official account user and can proceed to the next step.
Step 2. Download The Lovense Connect App
1. The next step is to download the Lovense Connect App. Visit the website and download the installation bundle for Mac. Click this link, and you’ll be redirected to the download page that looks like the image below:
2. Double-click the installation bundle and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation process. After the installation is complete, double-click the Lovense Connect icon to launch the app. The app’s interface will appear, prompting you to connect your toy(s).
Step 3. Connect Your Toy
1. Turn on your Lovense toy by holding the power button for about three seconds until the light begins blinking, indicating it’s in pairing mode. You can see it on my Ridge in the image below.
2. Open the Lovense Connect App on your Mac and click the ‘Add Toy(s)’ button to start the search for your toy. Once your toy is detected, the interface will display a successful connection. It should look like the screenshot below:
Step 4. Sync Lovense Cam Extension
1. The final step is installing the Lovense Cam Extension from the official website. Once it’s downloaded, unzip the file using a free unpacker like WinRAR to extract the files.
2. Find the folder named ‘lovense_cam_3098’. Then, open Chrome, click the three dots in the top right corner, and choose ‘Extensions’ > ‘Manage Extensions.’
3. Enable Developer Mode by toggling the switch in the top right corner. Click ‘Load unpacked’ on the left side and select the ‘lovense_cam_3098’ folder. The Lovense Cam Extension is now installed, and you should see the screen below:
4. Once you log in on the Lovense Cam Extension, you will see a setup wizard. Click the “Connect By Mac” in the “Toy Status” tab to sync with the Lovense Connect App. You’re all set!

Connecting your Lovense toys is pretty straightforward, but sometimes you encounter some common issues. Here are some troubleshooting tips to help you get started.
Restart Your Devices
If you’re having a hard time connecting your toys, the first step you should take is to restart both your Apple computer and your toys. This can often resolve any connectivity issues that you may be experiencing.
Check Your USB Bluetooth Adapter
If you’re using a USB Bluetooth adapter to connect your toys to your Apple computer, check if the adapter is plugged correctly into your computer and the red light is blinking. Unplug it and try another port if you see no red light.
