The Oh! Silky is a set of bondage restraints sold by online retailer Lovehoney. It’s probably the best beginner restraint you can get because of its low price. It’s very discreet and has good-quality restraints. Plus, it’s a simple non intimidating set to get your feet wet into BDSM or to slightly spice up the bedroom.

Unboxing
The unboxing experience was pretty basic, but what do you expect for $9.99? The product came inside a black and purple box that is common in the Lovehoney product line. Inside were just the restraints, no storage pouch or other fluff, but that’s pretty much everything you need to get started.

How Do I Use Lovehoney Oh! Restraints?
For beginners, you can pull it out of the box thread the cloth through the loop, put that loop around your partner’s wrist or ankle, and then pull tightly. With that you will have started your journey in BDSM you can do both wrists and then use the ends of the cloths as reigns to pull their arms wherever you want. My Personal Experience
This was an amazing product for my partner and me to use because of how easy it was to figure out. Both of us work long days and while we love being intimate, sometimes the foreplay takes too much energy out of us. Trying to figure out how to use a Shibari is not something either of us has time for. Thankfully, LoveHoney’s bondage came ready to go. We just unboxed it and used the premade loop to put it around our wrists. It took less than a minute to get on and my partner loved having my arms restrained and having me submitted to them.
Packaging
The discreet packaging is also a plus. As you can see in the image below, the box it comes in is so small that it could be mistaken for a card game or box of cards – just don’t let anyone read the box. The bondages themselves are a satin black that could be wrapped up or folded either back into the box or into a pocket for on-the-go fun. For a product that’s about 46 inches, it didn’t feel too crazy to put away or take out of the box.
Build Quality and Dimensions
Overall good quality and measured about 47 inches +/-. You can definitely do a lot of pulling without worrying about it ripping.
Ease of Use
The best part about this bondage gear is the adjustable loops. It was very easy to use and you can adjust the bondage to fit your wrists, no matter the size. My partner and I have struggled to find something that one of us can’t wiggle our wrists out of, so this was perfect, to keep our wrists restrained.
Versatility
Oh! Lovehoney silky restraints are most likely gonna be the most versatile restraint you can get since they can be used for any part of your body instead of just the usual handcuffs that can do either wrists or ankles (as I demonstrate below). With these restraints, you can do much more and don’t have to worry if you don’t know the more intricate knots. Can also be used as a ball gag and a blindfold.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing
Definitely need two sets if you want to have more fun with both legs and arms. Also found that it’s not actually 49 inches, used the tape measure and found it to be around 46-47 inches.
Review Summary
On the other hand, just like all products, LoveHoney did have some minor downsides. One included that it’s a couple of inches shorter than what was listed on the website, about 2 inches shorter. However, this is only noticeable if you measure it.
While it was great because of the adjustable bondage, if you don’t hold on to it, your partner can wiggle their way out of it if they try. But then again, if you let go of your partner during a BDSM session, who’s really to blame?
If you are looking for a product that you can restrain your partner with for either their arms or legs, this was amazing. While it can’t fully do everything Shibari can do due to the length, you can still have a great time with one or two sets. This product comes with two pre-looped bondages. You could use one pair to put two wrists into one loop and two ankles into another and tie your partner up with the ends, or for taller folks, do the same thing with two sets. Keep in mind this is only about 46 inches, or a little less than 4 feet, so if your partner is taller, this may not work out for this level, but it will still be fun to pull their arms back during intimacy. This product could also work as a leash if you’re into that. You could put one of the bondages around your partner’s neck and restrain them that way as well. It’s a very versatile toy.
While the product’s name is “Lovehoney Oh! Silky Bondage Restraints,” the bondages did not feel silky. They weren’t uncomfortable in any way, but it was a little of a shock that it didn’t feel the way I imagined. However, you aren’t spending $30 for bondages, so it makes sense for it to feel more like Satin.
Overall, Lovehoney Oh! Silky Bondage Restraints were a great item to add to our toy collection. Not only did it provide comfortable restraints, it saved us time during our busy schedules, which makes “play time” more enjoyable. Personally, I would love to see what else we could do with these restraints, and am excited to find out how and where to use them.
