Lovehoney’s DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Wrist Cuffs are made of two layers of leather with what seems to be stainless steel metal fittings. The buckle’s prong can be inserted into one of the cuff’s nine notches, allowing them to fit wrists anywhere from four to eight and a half inches in diameter.
The two leather sections are held together by five apparently extremely sturdy metal grommets. Held securely between the first three and the final two grommets is a hefty D-ring suitable for connecting to spreader bars or the included double-sided snap clip.
I would also like to mention that while grommets on some leather and metal cuffs go through the cuff, so may potentially be felt by whoever’s restrained, the DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Wrist Cuffs do not. How to Use DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Wrist Cuffs?
As any of you who have been following my recent run of bondage-related sex toys may know, I always like to bring up how using these types of restraints for solo bondage play can be more than a little challenging. Not impossible to do one-handed, just that in my experience, some practice will be required.

My Personal Experience

The cuff’s thinner, upper leather part has nine notches that their respective buckle’s prongs can be inserted into. Also shipped along with them was a double-sided snap clip, which is capable of connecting the cuffs (though without a lot of distance between each cuff).

Lovehoney’s DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Wrist Cuffs are made from premium, garment leather held in place with nickel-plated studs. They also feature similarly heavy-duty, nickel-plated buckles.
Build Quality and Dimensions
Each cuff’s exterior leather section measures one inch in width. The interior area measures one and a half inches in width. When stretched out, each cuff is approximately twelve inches long. According to Lovehoney, they are designed to comfortably fit wrists measuring five and a half to eight inches.
Ease of Use
The DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Wrist Cuffs share the same potential issue as pretty much every bondage restraint ever made. I’m referring to how they can take a relatively long time to practice for one-person players, which is crucial for putting them on or taking them off.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

A key drawback is that their buckles feel less durable than those of other bondage restraints on the market. There is also Lovehoney’s decision to punch holes in each cuff’s tongue.
Why is this an issue? Well, opting for holes as opposed to notches equals DOMINIX Deluxe Leather Wrist Cuffs, which tend to take longer to put on someone, as you have to hunt for whatever hole fits their wrist the best. I’ve also found that holes make it increasingly likely a cuff’s tongue will tear. So just be extra careful and try not to put undue stress and/or strain on their tongues during bondage play scenes.
