As with other impact play toys, the person swinging it simply needs to grasp it so that their hand or arms don’t tire easily or get strained. Then they should target their partner’s or playmate’s butt, being careful to avoid hitting their coccyx or tailbone. The reason is that the coccyx is an extension of the spine, and there’s a chance that damaging it could result in potentially serious nerve damage.
Fortunately, this spanking paddle is delightfully easy to wield, so getting it to stay only where you and your partner want it is a piece of cake. It’s also the perfect length and not especially flexible, so there’s little to no risk of it wrapping. My Personal Experience

Design
Although some impact play toys resemble ping pong paddles, while others resemble something akin to rulers, the Satin and Leather product somehow manages to be the best of both worlds. Not too wide as to hit too much of a person’s behind or so narrow it might be too intense, it hits precisely where and just hard enough to excite even the most experienced impact play fan.
I want to especially call out how cool it was that the Lovehoney Satin and Leather Spanking Paddle designers extended its satin padding all the way down the handle. I mean, they could have kept it to just the business side of the paddle. As you can see in the image below, its stitching is extremely impressive, showing no signs of fraying or anything that might indicate the manufacturer cut any sort of corners. By and large, I’d say it’s right up there when it comes to balancing quality with affordability.
Build Quality and Dimensions
At twelve and a half inches from one end to the other and, at the most, two and three-quarters inches wide, this paddle is ideally sized for spanking just about every kind of butt you can imagine. While it might be a little narrow, at around a quarter inch, it’s not uncomfortable to use and is unlikely to miss the target.

After all’s said and done, if I had to say anything that’s not 100% positive about the Lovehoney Satin and Leather Spanking Paddle, it would be that I wish the handle were just a little thicker. As it is, it’s not exactly hard or uncomfortable to use, but it was more like an inch or maybe even half an inch thick, rather than half that size; it might be even easier to play with.
