How Do I Use the Liberator Humphrey?
After unboxing Liberator Humphrey, read the directions carefully. You can cut through the plastic bag that houses the cover, but don’t slice open the cushion as it is vacuum-sealed and easy to slash. Instead, peel back the plastic and allow the cushion to expand. This process takes about an hour. Once it has expanded, massage it to help the foam even out into the desired shape. Zip it shut.
Wash the cover in your washing machine. Use a damp cloth to clean the moisture-resistant inner cover, and then place the outer cover (once dry) around it. Grab your favorite wand, dildo, or penis sleeve and place it inside, turning it on to your favorite setting first. Don’t use anything that needs to be plugged in; only cordless wands will fit. Add a small clit suction or bullet vibe in the external pocket, if desired, and adjust that to your favorite setting as well. When you’re done, wash the cover and throw the whole thing into a pillowcase for discreet storage.

My Personal Experience
Who among us didn’t use to grind against a pillow during adolescence? Thanks to my rigorous testing process, I can now guarantee that pillow-humping as an adult is next-level. If you’re a lovely lady who humps, this may be what you’ve been waiting for.
When I began my research, I wasn’t sure what to expect because I knew this would be the most flexible and flattest toy mount in my collection. Would the design really make it worth the $165 price tag, since I already have king-sized pillows in my bed? The short answer is hell yes. Humphrey now lives on my bed, permanently. One of the most compelling selling points is how discreet this pillow is. No storage spot or bag is required, as the cushion can be left out.

I tried using two devices at once, and it was tricky to get everything aligned, especially when my partner was penetrating me. Using one device at a time was less complicated for me, but for the truly industrious, it may be a challenge worth taking on. I also tried riding a dildo, and my hips just laughed at me. It was far too low. Squishing it between my legs so the middle popped up helped significantly. The best combination was a wand in the hole and my partner behind me, or a vibrating G-spot vibrator in the hole and a clitoral vibrator in the pocket.
The one slight inconvenience I encountered was that, once in the pockets, changing the setting can be a pain unless the devices are app-compatible, so you can use your phone.
Packaging

Design
Sex toy mounts are excellent at enhancing sex, making it more comfortable, and subtly helping you include a toy during partnered sex. But they are often easy to spot, the opposite of discreet. Not the Liberator Humphrey. This sex toy mount cushion is shaped like a king-sized pillow, and it fits right into a king-sized pillowcase, so you can store it out in the open without anyone being the wiser.
The Humphrey is the most flexible of all Liberator sex cushions. It’s meant to be folded up, crushed between your thighs, and ground against. That makes it an ideal choice for suction toys, since positioning is more crucial with those devices. But it works exceptionally well with dildos, vibrators, and wands. It’s compatible with suction cup vibes as well as Fleshlights, making it quite versatile indeed.
However, the hole where you can insert sex toys doesn’t go all the way through because the Humphrey is designed specifically for dildo and cordless wand use. If your favorite device needs to be plugged in, it won’t work with this mount. Further, the smaller pocket on top may work with a little vibrator or suction device. But for hands-free use, you need to find your setting first, then place it in the pillow. It won’t work well for people who like to frequently change settings unless your chosen model is app-compatible so that you can easily alter settings after it’s in the pocket. The pocket is well-suited to powerful bullet vibrators, but less powerful vibrations may feel dulled by the extra layer of material between your clit and the motor.
Material
The cushion material is notably less dense and firm than some of the other Liberator offerings. The middle is made up of shredded foam, then covered by cut foam. That combination means the material has give. All that is topped with a moisture-resistant liner that goes underneath the machine-washable cover. Don’t expect a rock-solid cushion; it’s flexible, allowing you to squish it easily between your thighs. And the machine washability of the cover makes all the difference. It’s clutch because it’s so easy to clean. The inner liner can be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Build Quality and Dimensions
The build quality is excellent; I’ve never received a Liberator product that was anything less. The dimensions are ideal for humping, grinding, and straddling, since it’s flexible and rather flat. But if you plan to ride a dildo, you may want to opt for more height unless you have the hip mobility of an Olympian. However, the flatness makes double penetration possible if you have a partner to penetrate you from behind while you use a dildo.
The dimensions are thoughtful and discreet, because the Humphrey fits neatly inside a king-sized pillowcase. You can keep it out on your bed until you’re ready to play, rip off the cover, and get right to it (You can see how the dimensions compare to some of my other sex pillows in the image below).
Ease of Use
The Humphrey is exceptionally easy to use. From the machine-washable cover to the moisture-resistant inside, it’s a cinch to clean. It’s easy to store, thanks to the dimensions fitting inside a standard king-sized pillowcase. It’s flexible, so it works in a variety of positions. And the mount and pocket are simple to use.
Versatility
Humphrey is as versatile a sex toy mount as I’ve ever (repeatedly) come across. It works with penis sleeves and strokers as well as wands and dildos. It has a hole for mounting toys and a pocket for additional clitoral vibrators (image below). If you want to experience hands-free double penetration, this can do that. It’s an excellent addition for people who have chronic pain or flexibility issues, or anyone who needs hands-free pleasure.
Warranty and Support
Unopened, unused items can be returned within thirty days of receipt, and Liberator will replace defective items. On top of that, Liberator offers a one-year warranty for the Humphrey.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
I had a total of zero minor issues when I tested this. It does exactly what it set out to do. However, the design won’t appeal to everyone, since it’s hard to change the settings of toys once they are in place.
