Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney The Bunny-Hop Review 2024

Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney The Bunny-HopWhen Agent Provocateur teams up with Lovehoney, you know it will be an experience. They go all-in with luxury packaging, beautiful design, and extra-touchable materials, so every part feels extravagant from start to finish. These toys set the standard for what’s giftable, so if you’re looking for a sex toy for your significant other, this one might be a good fit. They recently released a new rabbit vibe called The Bunny-Hop, and I was curious to see how it compares to the rest of the pack.

Key Takeaways
4.7 out of 5 stars

The pink and rose gold make it look like a luxury toy, precisely what you’re getting. The vibrations were relatively strong, and the inner arm felt positively rumbly, while the rabbit ears provided a slightly buzzier feeling. When I’ve used rabbits in the past, their ears sometimes feel a bit pokey on me (I’m super sensitive). But these ears are super soft, and any pokiness is negligible if you use enough lube. However, the shape of the ears means the sensations will appeal most to those who like pinpoint sensation rather than broad stimulation.

Who Should Try It? If you want a pretty vibrator that you’ll be dying to show off to all your friends, this is a great selection. Not only does it provide internal and external stimulation simultaneously, but it’s also great for travel and underwater fun.

Who Can Skip It? It’s on the pricey side, so people who don’t want to break the bank can find other quality vibes that will tick all their boxes, like Desire Luxury from Lovehoney.

A New Breed of Rabbit

I’ve tried many rabbits in my life, and they’re one of my favorite sex toys. But since they are so ubiquitous, it can be difficult for them to stand out much from the remarkably steep competition.

Some brands will add a twist like suction or thrusting instead of vibration. However, the classics are classics for a reason. And I was excited to discover if this would be the rabbit that gets to burrow in my nightstand or if it would gather dust bunnies with the sex toys I don’t use as much.

The black carrying case

Packaging

The Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney packaging is excellent. It arrives in a pale pink cardboard box, and the rabbit vibrator is inside the most gorgeous carrying case of any toy I own. It’s sturdy, it zips closed, and it looks a bit like lingerie. I felt like I was undressing this sex toy. I can’t say enough about this carrying case.

It also comes with a short user manual that gives you some advice on using the rabbit vibrator. Since this sex toy has a simple design, there’s not much to read!

Material

The Bunny-Hop is made from body-safe, waterproof silicone that is extra silky. It’s perfect for beach vacations since you can use it anywhere!

The box didn’t say what the rose-gold panel was made of, so I live-chatted with Lovehoney’s customer support. They said they didn’t have a complete material breakdown, but it was some sort of metal.

It would be helpful to have more clarity on the materials used.

Dimensions

The Bunny-Hop is small enough to throw in your suitcase, though the carrying case adds to this sex toy’s dimensions. The toy has 4.5” of insertable length—perfect for finding your G-spot without being intimidating.

Design

Strange but true: this bunny has a nice body. The pink and rose gold make it look and feel like a luxury toy, precisely what you’re getting. The rabbit’s arms are long enough to reach most clitorises with ease.

The device charging

Battery Life and Charging

The manual estimated that the toy would take two hours to charge and last up to 75 minutes. However, when I tested it, it lasted much longer.

On the lowest setting, it lasted three hours and thirty-four minutes. And then, it took eighty-three minutes to fully charge it afterward. It’s always a pleasant surprise when the battery performs better on both fronts than the manual suggests!

The Bunny-Hop has a magnetic charger, which is my favorite kind. However, this one isn’t incredibly magnetic and comes apart relatively easily. It’s a good idea to charge it somewhere out of the way where it won’t be disturbed and double-check that it is indeed charging before you leave the room.

Otherwise, gravity might leave you with a dead battery and a broken heart.

Controls

The controls are mercifully easy to decipher. There are only two buttons, which double as the nodes that the magnetic charging cable attaches to.

  1. The top button will turn the G-spot vibrations on or off when held for two seconds.
  2. To change modes, you press the top button briefly and repeatedly, taking you through the three speeds and five patterns.

The bottom button controls the rabbit ears. Press and hold for two seconds to turn them on or off, and press quickly to cycle through the vibration intensities and various rhythms.

You’ll press both buttons for six seconds to use the travel lock. When activated or deactivated, the light will flash, and the toy will buzz.

Warranty and Support

Lovehoney will replace a defective toy within one year of purchase. Further, they have a 100-day money-back promise, meaning you can get a refund if you don’t like the toy. That’s above and beyond what most companies offer!

How To Use The Bunny-Hop?

  1. After you charge your Bunny-Hop, wash it and dry it well.
  2. Then, grab some water-based lube and put it on the internal and external arms of the toy.
  3. You’ll place the bulbous end inside you until it gives you comfortable G-spot pressure.
  4. The rabbit ears should rest against your clit.
  5. Then, use the two buttons to experiment with different rhythms and intensities until you find the combination you like the best.

My Personal Experience

I’m going to be honest: I was super excited to try this toy. It looked so pretty in the pictures, and as it turned out, it was even more beautiful in real life. I can be pretty vain when it comes to sex toys.

Ease Of Use

After I charged it, washed it, and grabbed the lube, I played around with its controls. It’s super simple to operate, which was a nice break from the more complicated toys. Between the two buttons, you won’t get too confused when you use it, even if you’re a bit distracted, which I was because I was masturbating.

Comfort

I loved the softness of this rabbit. It’s incredibly comfortable and sexy to touch. However, the G-spot arm yields so easily that I can imagine people who need a more forceful G-spot sensation might think it’s slightly too soft. It’s surprisingly squishy, which was perfect for me. But you might want something a bit harder if you prefer firm strokes.

Stimulations

The vibrations were relatively strong as well. The inner arm felt positively rumbly, while the rabbit ears provided a slightly buzzier feeling. When I’ve used rabbits in the past, their ears sometimes feel a bit pokey on me because I’m super sensitive. These ears are super soft, and any remaining pokiness is negligible if you use enough lube.

However, the shape of the ears means that the sensations will appeal most to those who like pinpoint sensation rather than broad stimulation.

Pro Tip: If you want broad stimulation, you could always take the internal part out and use that on your clit, which makes it an excellent choice if you’re new to rabbits and don’t know if you’ll like the feeling. This rabbit is super versatile.

Lastly, I held the rabbit ears against me to capitalize on the sensation. They don’t press up against you much, so the feeling is deadened unless you free up a hand to hold them against you, which was necessary for me to feel enough sensation to climax.

So, this isn’t a great toy for someone looking for something hands-free. But no rabbit (that I’m aware of) would fit that bill.

How It Compares To Other Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney Toys

The Bunny-Hop and The Salsa

Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney Salsa Bullet Vibrator

The Salsa Bullet Vibrator is a sexy bullet vibe by Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney. The packaging is designed similarly and comes with a carrying case that you’ll want to bring everywhere.

In addition, both are made of extra-soft silicone and are relatively easy to use. But, if you don’t need or want G-spot stimulation, you can save some money by selecting the Salsa since it only costs $109.99

Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney Rumba

The Rumba Silicone Wand Vibrator is another excellent option for people who can’t get enough clitoral stimulation. The wand has much more power than the bullet vibe, and it’s ideal for people who like deep, rumbly, all-over sensations rather than light or buzzy vibes.

The Rumba is beautiful and uses the same simple interface as all the Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney toys. Plus, it costs $149.99, somewhat less than the Bunny-Hop.

Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney Cha Cha Cha

If you love internal vibes but can take or leave the clitoral arm, the Cha Cha Cha G Spot vibrator was made for you. It looks exactly like the Bunny-Hop with the clitoral arm removed, and it’s perfect for G-spot exploration. The Cha Cha Cha costs $149.99.

Agent Provocateur X Lovehoney The Jitterbug

The Jitterbug is a pebble-style vibrator. That means it’s small, sleek, and perfect for travel or use during partnered sex. It’s ergonomic, so it will fit in your palm comfortably for longer play sessions. It functions much like a bullet vibe and doesn’t provide G-spot stimulation. The Jitterbug costs $124.99.

Alternatives to the Bunny-Hop Rabbit Vibrator

The Bunny-Hop, Soraya Wave, Womanizer Premium, and Nova 2

We-Vibe Nova 2

The We-Vibe Nova 2 is another rabbit vibrator. The main difference between these two toys is that the Nova is designed to make the clitoral arm flexible enough to stay in the same place no matter what you’re doing with the vibrator. The Bunny-Hop is softer, but the Nova 2 is app-controlled, so it’s better for long-distance couples. The Nova 2 costs $149, somewhat cheaper than the Bunny-Hop.

Lelo Soraya Wave

The Lelo Soraya Wave is a rabbit-style vibrator with a unique twist: the inner arm doesn’t use vibrations. Instead, it uses a come-hither motion which feels a lot like fingering and is one of the most distinctive sensations I’ve ever felt. It comes in gorgeous packaging, has a travel lock, and costs $249, making it an extremely high-end splurge.

Womanizer Duo 2

The Womanizer Duo 2 is another rabbit-like sex toy. Instead of clitoral vibrations, however, it uses clitoral suction. The hands-free air pulses help women with sensitive clits avoid overstimulation, while the internal G-spot vibrations provide dual stimulation.

If you prefer clitoral suction to clitoral vibes, the Womanizer Duo 2 might be perfect. However, the Duo costs $219, much more than the Bunny-Hop. You can read our Womanizer Duo 2 review here.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Since the Bunny-Hop is waterproof, it’s relatively easy to clean. The manual advises cleaning with a sex toy cleaner after use and leaving it to air dry. However, you could also use warm soap and water.

Pro Tip: Since there’s a seam between the silicone and the rose gold control panel, you’ll want to use a toothbrush for detailed cleaning from time to time.
