How We Picked The Products

I put a lot of thought into selecting my review samples by selecting test criteria we could measure using well-defined quantitative metrics. Most notably, how well the BDSM community thinks of their manufacturers. They understand all too well the difference between good products and not-so-good ones.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing:

If you have large boobies, please check the product specification to ensure the wiring will fit, especially if you use a padded bra. Also, note that they are quite bulky, so I recommend wearing slightly baggier clothing if you plan to wear them in public.

The quality of the nylon thread also felt a bit off (blue circle below). It didn’t really match the high-quality look of the product itself. I was also a bit concerned about the screw parts on the clamp (red circled below). They don’t look sturdy and may break if you accidentally step on them.

Minor Issues We Found During Testing:

Not that it’s necessarily a deal breaker, considering how well-made and expertly designed The Stockroom’s Velvet Noir Collar and Removable Clamps set is, but I do wish its clamps were of slightly better quality.  Not in their quality, which, as I’ve said, is outstanding, but that they weren’t so narrowly tipped.  But I freely admit this is a personal preference and in no way The Stockroom’s fault.

Minor Issues We Found During Testing:

Not at all a problem, per se, but an intrinsic fact about magnets (and magnetic-style BDSM playthings), the Magnetic Nipple Balls cannot be adjusted to be less or more attracted to one another. I know I’ve mentioned this previously, though it’s still worth repeating, as it’s something many people used to other kinds of nipple toys may have gotten used to. It’s what can make the transition from those toys to this product such a significant adjustment. Another thing well worth repeating is that these are not for inexperienced kinksters, as using them safely isn’t a suggestion but absolutely mandatory.
