Some things are obviously what they are. Others – like this little hand-blown glass massager – could sit right on your bookshelf, and no one would ever guess its true purpose.
Meet Icicles No. 24, a light pink, seahorse-shaped glass wand that looks more like something you’d find at a coastal craft market than in a bedroom drawer. It has that delicate, decorative charm – kind of like those glass dolphins and whales you see in beach shops. Except, well, this one comes with tentacles and it’s made to get you off.
It’s undeniably cute, but don’t let that fool you. Between its smooth but firm material and the tiny, slightly intimidating textured bits, it promises a very different kind of experience. But does it deliver, or is this just another pretty trinket?
This one’s a looker – sleek, sculpted, and full of personality. The curves feel great in hand, and the textures add serious stimulation, though they might be too much for some. It’s easy to grip, not too heavy, and versatile in use, but if you’re after a serious length or something smoother, this isn’t it.
Who Should Try It? If you love textured glass, want something beautiful and functional, and don’t mind a bit of intensity, the Icicles No 24 tentacle dildo is a solid choice.
Who Can Skip It? Size seekers and those who prefer a softer touch might want to look elsewhere. The texture is bold, and if you’re sensitive, it could be too much.
You Can Buy It on Peep Show Toys or Shevibe for $64.

What Is Icicles No. 24?
Icicles No. 24 is a hand-blown glass wand designed for both aesthetic appeal and function. Each piece is slightly unique due to its craftsmanship, with a curved tail for grip and a row of raised textures along the shaft.
Made from borosilicate glass, it’s non-porous, body-safe, and temperature-friendly. Run it under warm or cool water, and it holds temperature well for an added sensory effect (More on temperature play here). The size is on the smaller side, with a 1.5-inch width and 4.5-inch insertable length, making it ideal for those who prefer a more compact option.

Unboxing
The semi-premium packaging makes a good first impression with a cover-door design and display window. It gives off a boutique feel, but once you remove the product, it’s just nestled in a basic foam block (image below) – functional, but not exactly luxurious.
There are no extras like a storage pouch or lubricant. The product itself looks stunning right out of the box, but a protective case would’ve been a nice touch.

How Do I Use the Icicles No. 24?
Temperature play is one of Icicle No.24’s standout features. Run it under warm water for a relaxing heat or chill it under cold water for a more refreshing feel.
The curved tail acts as a natural grip, giving better control without awkward handling. The smooth glass glides effortlessly, but the raised textures add noticeable stimulation, so a slower, controlled approach works best.
Surprisingly, it also makes for a fantastic body massager. The firm glass and textured edges are great for working out tight muscles and hard-to-reach spots—even my partner’s shoulders after a workout. If nothing else, it doubles as an unexpected but effective massage tool.
Cleanup is simple—just use antibacterial toy cleaner or warm water and soap. Since it’s glass, there’s no risk of absorption or lingering residue.
My Personal Experience
The first thing I thought when I saw Icicles No. 24 was, that this thing is adorable. The soft pink color and decorative shape make it look more like home décor than anything risqué. Then I noticed the raised textures, curved tip, and tongue-shaped sections, and I knew this sex toy was built for pleasure.
I started by warming it under the sink, and instantly, it felt smoother and more inviting. Glass holds heat beautifully, turning it into something that feels almost spa-like against the skin. Since most of my toys require water-based lube, I rarely get the chance to use silicone-based ones. So when I had the perfect excuse to break out some super-slippery Japanese-style Nuru gel, I didn’t hesitate.
The curved tail grip turned out to be a smart design choice, making it easier to maneuver than expected. The smooth glass surface was effortless, but the tentacle details? Those were a surprise. At a slow, steady pace, they added just enough texture to be interesting, but too much pressure or speed and they shifted from stimulating to uncomfortable. For me, they were actually too intense, though I know some people will appreciate the extra sensation. Think of it like a ribbed condom turned up to 1000.
By the end of my session, I had mixed feelings. The craftsmanship is fantastic, and it works beautifully for temperature play and general massage, but if your vagina is sensitive to textures, it might not be for you.
I had a good two weeks using the Icicles No. 24 massager for both pleasure and therapeutically as a real massager, and I think it does equally in both departments. Still, even if it never got used for its intended purposes again, it looks great on display. Just be ready for questions if someone asks where you got that adorable little glass seahorse.
Packaging
As you can see in the image below, the packaging makes a strong first impression. It’s bright, clear, and does a great job showcasing the product. The front of the box has a bold, eye-catching design, and the flap-style cover opens like a book to reveal a window with the actual product inside. If I saw this on a store shelf, I’d probably pick it up out of curiosity, which means the design team knew what they were doing. It’s the kind of packaging that makes you want to take a closer look. It also feels like something I’d be happy to give as a gift – nice enough to make an impression without being overdone.
Design
The shape of the Icicles No. 24 glass dildo is interesting because it changes depending on how you look at it. The seahorse influence is obvious, but from some angles, it also looks like a thick, juicy tongue (like in the image below). And if you catch it from the right perspective, there’s no denying the cock shaped top section that would fit perfectly inside a willing participant. Maybe it’s all three shapes combined that make it feel so intentional. Beyond the looks, the seahorse-style tail section isn’t just a design flourish – it works well as a solid handle, making it easier to grip and control while lubed up and in action.
Material
Icicles No. 24 is made from handblown glass, so no two are exactly the same. There’s something nice about that – like each one has its own slight variations. The pink hue is beautiful, giving it a soft, almost delicate look, but the material itself is solid and durable. Since it’s glass, it’s completely waterproof and nonporous, which makes it easy to clean. One big advantage over silicone is that you can use any type of lube without worrying about compatibility. One disadvantage is that if you drop this thing on a hard surface it can break.
Stimulations
This glass dildo is surprisingly versatile. Vagina pleasure aside, it worked as an all-purpose massage tool, and it’s actually great at it. The curves and different contact points made it easy to work out muscle knots and tight spots that my body had been building up after a week of high-intensity workouts. But you didn’t come here for massage tips – for its intended purpose, it delivers. The tip curve was just right to hit my G-spot, and the small tentacle-like nubs are a guaranteed ticket to Cum Town (yes, it’s a real place). Since it’s glass, you can warm it up or cool it down for a range of different sensations, adding even more variety to the experience.
Build Quality
The craftsmanship is impressive. It’s completely smooth with no sharp edges or rough spots, even in the finer details like the small tentacle nubs. Despite the intricate design, nothing feels fragile or risky. After a few weeks of intense use, I don’t see any signs of wear or weakness. Glass is naturally durable, and as long as you don’t drop it on a hard surface, this should last for many, many years.
Ease of Use
It’s surprisingly easy to handle compared to heavier glass sex toys I’ve tested lately (You can see how Icicles No. 24 compares to some other glass dildos in the image below). The weight feels balanced, and the design helps – those nubs, ridges, and curves aren’t just for looks; they make it easier to grip. It’s not super long, though, so I did find myself stretching a bit to try and fit more in, which got a little tiring after a while. But for general play and warm-up, it was perfect – comfortable, easy to control, and not too bulky.
Versatility
This isn’t just a one-trick pony. Beyond its obvious use, it works well in different scenarios, whether that be solo or with a partner. My husband loved using it on me, and the glass toy added a fun dynamic to the experience. I’m not sure I’d personally use it as an anal toy – it doesn’t seem designed for that – but I’m sure some of you out there would disagree. And if nothing else, it could absolutely pass as a beautiful glass ornament on a shelf. No one would ever question it.
Warranty and Support
Icicles manufacturer, Pipedream, offers a one-year warranty on their products, which covers manufacturer defects. To make a claim, you’ll need proof of purchase from an authorized retailer. While a year is decent coverage, glass is durable enough that you probably won’t need it unless there’s an issue right out of the box.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
While the details and textures are a big part of what makes the Icicles interesting, they might be too much for some. The glass nubs add a lot of stimulation, but for more sensitive bodies, they could feel like overkill or cause a bit of unwanted friction. It also doesn’t come with a storage bag or lube, which would have been a nice touch. There’s no promo material or extras in the box either, which makes the unboxing feel a little underwhelming. And for my big dick queens, if you’re after something with serious size, this probably isn’t the one for you.

Alternatives to the Icicles No. 24 Glass Dildo
If you like the idea of glass but want something different, there are a couple of solid alternatives worth considering.
Chrystalino Gallant
Chrystalino has a more refined, high-end feel with smoother shapes and fewer intense textures. It’s a good choice if you like glass but prefer something less stimulating. The designs are sleek, elegant, and comfortable for longer sessions.
You can read my full Chrystalino Gallant review in this article.
Gläs 10.5″ Girthy Realistic Glass Dildo
Gläs’ Girthy double-ended dildo is both aesthetic and functional, with authentic craftsmanship behind it. The ultra-clear, hand-blown glass has a premium feel, and the dual-ended design gives you two size options—one more manageable and one a bit more adventurous. The weight adds to the sturdy, high-end feel, and unlike silicone, there’s no give, making for a hot and hard experience. The brand markets it as luxury-grade, and in this case, that claim holds up. If you want something that doubles as a statement piece, this one is worth a look.
If you’re sensitive to strong textures or just want something more refined, either of these could be a better fit. But if you love the extra sensation, stick with this one.
