Historically, wand vibrators have been known for their power, their intensity, but not their versatility. LELO SWITCH has officially changed all that. No longer a one-trick pony, this product has clit vibes as well as a G-spot vibrator at the other end. What’s more, you don’t have to plug it into the wall during use. Does the extra motor and app-compatibility add versatility or overcomplicate the experience? Let’s dive into it in this LELO SWITCH review.
This high-end double-function wand vibe is as powerful as it is pretty. If you’re a die-hard wand vibrator fan, you may miss the raw power of a plug-in device. But if you never know what you’re going to want, and you don’t mind switching between clit vibes and G-spot vibes, you can’t do better than this versatile people pleaser.
Who Should Try It? When I envision who the LELO SWITCH will delight the most, I’m thinking of lesbian couples who prefer different types of stimulation and want to save space. Or heterosexual couples who would like to switch the stimulation but only have one at a time, so that you can have penetrative sex and use the clit vibe, or your partner could go down on you while you use the G-spot vibe. It’s also the perfect upgrade for someone who needs more power and is willing to pay the high-end price.
Who Can Skip It? If you need a vibe that stimulates two places at once, this device won’t work. You could get the LELO SORAYA Wave for roughly the same price, which has both internal wave stimulation and clitoral vibration.
You Can Buy It on the official LELO website for $199.
What Is the LELO SWITCH?
The LELO SWITCH is a double-ended wand vibrator. That means at one end, the head has a powerful clitoral vibration motor. The other end, which is the handle, can be inserted vaginally for G-spot vibration. It’s waterproof, rechargeable, and let’s be honest, pricy. It’s not a dual stimulation vibe, though. You get to choose either your clit or your G-spot. It also has the bonus of being app-compatible. Once you pair it to the LELO app, you can send your partner a link to play long-distance, or you can create your own vibe patterns in myriad ways. You can also let their tech take the wheel and cook up some chaotic patterns with their OUT OF CONTROL and FINISH ME OFF settings.

Unboxing
I always look forward to LELO unboxings like it’s my birthday because that’s how giftable the whole experience feels. It’s elegant. It’s beautiful. It feels like I’m getting jewelry, but I am not! I’m getting something better: numerous orgasms. What’s inside all that sexy packaging is exceptional, too, which is the SWITCH, a storage bag, a recharging cable, a sample packet of lube (swoon), and an instruction manual. (You can see all the items in the image below.)

How Do I Use the LELO SWITCH?
After unboxing the LELO SWITCH, charge it and wash it. You can turn it on by pressing and holding the middle button on the vibe. The plus and minus buttons increase or decrease the intensity, and you have sixteen levels to choose from. Don’t forget to use the included water-based lube if you’re using the internal G-spot vibrator. If you’d prefer to use the app, download it and snoop around to try out every ounce of functionality. Then, once you’ve had an orgasm or twenty, wash it and store it in the provided bag.

My Personal Experience
When I first immersed myself in the world of the LELO SWITCH, my first question was: What is a double-sided wand vibrator? In theory, I could picture it, but I was unsure whether it would be handy or functional. I was picturing a wand vibrator with two motors, which it has, but one was for your clit and the other, your hand. You can imagine my relief when I realized the handle could double as an internal stimulator, with a motor meant to pleasure your G-spot rather than make the palm of your hand go numb even faster. So, yes, never had I ever used a wand vibe one way, and then flipped it around to use it the other way until the SWITCH came into my life. And I’m already a fan.
Here’s the deal: I love wands. All of them. I cannot get enough of their power, durability, and innate ability to get me off at lightning speeds. I have never encountered a model that hasn’t gotten me off, and I hope I never do. My experience with this product was incredible, but that’s in part because I’ve never had a bad time. However, this one, though powerful, doesn’t quite compete with the plug-in wands, which are truly unparalleled.
Yet, that wasn’t a dealbreaker for me. I don’t need the incredible amounts of power. Sometimes, too much vibration feels like my clit is being sanded off, and that’s no fun. The SWITCH has the perfect blend of form, function, and powerful yet not overwhelming vibration.
One thing I noticed was that the vibrations on the clit end were not the same as the internal vibes. They seem to be set at different speeds. But both had a wide range of intensities and were mind-blowing even at lower settings.
Lastly, this is easily the most gorgeous wand I’ve used or seen. It’s a piece of art, and it’s a shame that it will spend most of its life in my nightstand. Something this stunning deserves the spotlight!

Design
The LELO SWITCH adds a touch of the ethereal to the standard wand look. It has twisty whisps around the head, making it look less like a dental tool and more like an instrument of pleasure. It’s like the peppermint candy of the sex toy world, a Willy Wonka wand vibe. I love it.
Even though this beauty is waterproof, there are deep seams between the ABS plastic and the silicone that you’ll want to deep clean every so often with a toothbrush. For daily use, warm water and antibacterial soap should suffice.
The head is slightly flexible, but it’s not a bendy device that you could fold up and use on your G-spot at the same time as your clit. The neck curves just barely, and there’s a part of me that wishes it wouldn’t. It’s harder to dig in for extra sensation as you near orgasm, since the flexibility makes the head give way against pressure.
Material
LELO knows how to blend ABS plastic and silky silicone to create a visually stunning product. This vibe is dressed and ready to go out. Not only are the materials nice to look at and touch, but they are also waterproof and meet the highest safety standards. The LELO SWITCH meets the ISO 3533, which is the international standard that guarantees it’s safe to use against your genitalia for the foreseeable future. Pretty badass!
Since this wand is silicone, remember only to use it paired with water-based lube. You may not be using lube if you’re holding it against your clit (though you should give it a try), but when you use the internal arm, you should use lube, and that lube must be water-based to prolong the life of your SWITCH.
Stimulations
The stimulations are where wand vibrators stand out. They are the final word on vibration intensity, unless you’re upgrading to a sex machine. People love them because they reliably deliver that all-over vibration that makes orgasm hard to slow, not hard to reach. And when wands try to have too many features, some of that power can be compromised, especially when they’re rechargeable rather than plug-in. But the SWITCH has just the right blend of features and power for my taste.
The first setting offers a deep rumble on the clitoral side. The first setting of the G-spot vibes is noticeably faster and buzzier. The top end of the intensities is pleasantly strong, stronger than I was expecting for a wand of this size. However, I found the G-spot vibrations slightly disappointing compared to their more robust clitoral counterpart. The range of stimulations will work for people who want a teasing murmur and those who want their hair to be blown back by the intensity. The vibrations are also nice and smooth, like your clit is driving a Rolls-Royce rather than a Ford Fiesta.
Sound Level
The website promised me that the volume wouldn’t exceed 63 decibels, which, I must admit, is relatively noisy. But wands are loud because they’re powerful. And if they deliver that wallop of stimulation, I’m willing to turn on some masturbation music so that no one can hear it or me. When I tested the decibels, they ranged from 43 to 59. I’ve definitely used much louder models.
Build Quality and Dimensions
The LELO SWITCH is smaller than a lot of other wands I’ve tried (you can see how the dimensions compare to two other products in the image below), but that makes it all the easier to hold. And size queens should take note: the SWITCH only has 3.3” insertable, which is just enough to reach most G-spots.
The build quality is excellent. It’s sturdy, silky, durable, and soft.
The LELO App
This wasn’t my first experience with the LELO app. I’ve used it with other LELO devices, but there’s something about a wand that just doesn’t seem to take to app control like other sex toys do. For one, it’s not remotely wearable or discreet. They are loud, and you pretty much need to always grip the handle. There’s no possibility for public play, and you even must be selective about which positions to use it in if you’re going to incorporate it into couple play, because wands are sizable. Sometimes using an app with them feels like an afterthought. Yet, the LELO app’s functionality and unbeatable connectivity made using the app feel worthwhile and seamless. They even have a compilation of erotica stories. Handy!
Using the app is enjoyable and straightforward. If you’ve downloaded it for the first time, take a minute to familiarize yourself with your options. At the bottom, there are options such as “Home” (where the articles are located) and “My Toy.” If you click on My Toy, go to “add toy” and then “Switch series.” Then you press the middle button on the Switch until the LED lights blink, and then press it briefly once more to confirm your connection. Easy! You can turn up the vibrations by moving your phone around with options like screwing, shaking, and swiping. I hadn’t tried swiping before, but it was a lot less effort than screwing or shaking.
If you want to relinquish control, click on Advanced Mode, where the extra options are available. I tried the “Out of Control,” which was so unpredictable, my clit couldn’t get down with it. But I imagine this feature will enchant people who love a good surprise. The other advanced mode is called “Finish Me Off.” Finish Me Off was a little less chaotic, and I enjoyed it, even though I don’t typically like rhythms. With both advanced modes, both motors were vibrating, so your hands will probably go numb unless you climax faster than I do. The visuals are a fun addition for the senses, too.
The app also has a section called “Love Bridge,” where you can create a room or join a room to play long-distance with your partner. When I tried the long-distance play with my partner, we never experienced connectivity issues.
Ease of Use
Overall, I found the LELO SWITCH easy to use. The buttons are self-explanatory, and the app holds your hand throughout use. Moreover, battery life is a key component of ease of use, and the website stated the sex toy would take two hours to charge and then last for up to two hours. When I tested it, it took one hour and forty-five minutes to charge and then lasted nearly five hours on the first setting, well over the projected estimate.
The SWITCH comes with an automatic twenty-minute shutoff, my orgasm’s nemesis. I often masturbated for longer than twenty minutes. What can I say? I have an old-fashioned clit that takes its sweet time. So, these kinds of shut-offs tend to bother me, even if you can switch them off in an app. Other than that, the LELO SWITCH was a breeze.
Versatility
A wand vibrator that offers G-spot vibes is already knocking the versatility score out of the park. But this device is also app-compatible. So, yes, this is the most versatile wand I’ve ever used.
Warranty and Support
LELO offers a one-year warranty against faulty products and workmanship and a ten-year quality guarantee.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
Yes, this wand costs $200. But its value makes it well worth the price. Other than a slight lack of power compared with other wands, the SWITCH gave me no issues.

Alternatives to the LELO SWITCH
We-Vibe Wand 2
The Wand 2 is decidedly less sexy than the LELO SWITCH, but it’s also more powerful and less versatile. For fans of pure power, the Wand 2 is likely the way to go. But if you want to play around and switch gears for internal pleasure from time to time, you must choose the SWITCH. The SWITCH also offers a preferable app experience, with better connectivity and some more fun features. The Wand 2 is quite large, but it doesn’t have the option for G-spot stimulation.

Magic Wand Rechargeable
The Magic Wand Rechargeable is another wand vibe. It won’t win any beauty contests, but it is an old standby for a reason: it’s powerful. The Magic Wand Rechargeable looks like the traditional wands, but it has some cool upgrades, too, like three hours of battery life. However, it’s not waterproof, so cleaning isn’t as straightforward or thorough. It is the more potent choice, and it only costs $150, considerably less than the SWITCH. However, it’s a lot more sizeable and does not offer two types of stimulation. Anyone who wants a wand with a G-spot pleasuring handle will have to choose the SWITCH.
