OMGGG! BunBunThe BunBun is an adorably bunny-themed vibe that promises it’ll bring trouble with every hop. Does it live up to this naughty promise, or is this one bunny I want to hop, hop, hop far away from me?

Read my review of the BunBun to find out.

Key Takeaways
2.5 out of 5 stars

While the JimmyJane OMGGG! line is adorable, I keep coming upon the same problems with their toys. They look great. They feel better than expected. But they just don’t work quite as well as they should. While the BunBun had a better design than the GumiGirrl, the button would simply not always cooperate. Combine that with the funky smell it had when I took it out of the packaging…this is one to skip.

Who Should Try It? If you’re new to the world of vibrators and/or don’t intend to use one a lot, BunBun could potentially be a good one to start with, especially if they were having a big sale or the product was otherwise highly discounted. It feels great, looks adorable, and has a lot of power. The one I got was clearly a little defective, so assuming you get one that works better, this toy will give you a pretty good time.

Who Can Skip It? If you’re on the sensitive side, BunBun might not be a good choice for you. Don’t be fooled by its adorable looks—this toy is power on a stick!

You Can Buy It on the official JimmyJane website for $29.99.

What Is The OMGGG! BunBun?

The BunBun from the JimmyJane OMGGG! toy line is an external vibe, meaning it is not actually intended for your…bunbuns. Shaped a little like a rabbit (the actual kind, not like a rabbit toy), or maybe a rabbit ice cream treat, it has 10 powerful vibration modes, and the stick handle keeps those strong vibes from reaching your hand.

First Impressions and Features

Unboxing

The packaging for the toys in this line is adorable, since they’re meant to look like bags of candy. Plus, the slogan and product description actually made sense on this one. “Blush. Bounce. Repeat!” is a perfectly serviceable slogan, though really it should be “Bounce. Blush. Repeat!” because I assume the toy’s bouncing is so good it makes you blush. If you’re blushing because you’re embarrassed to use a toy, it seems a bit rude to draw attention to that fact.

The back of the bag

Then on the back, we’re given some information about the product, along with the fact that it’s “naughty” and is full of “bad intentions” and “pure mischief.” Do they just mean that it’s powerful? Because that’s not incorrect, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say the toy itself is somehow morally bad.

Unfortunately, the first thing that hit me when I opened the bag was the smell. At first I genuinely thought it was meant to be a scented product, but I couldn’t see any mention on the packaging or website that that was the case. It didn’t even smell like plastic, it smelled like something that was supposed to smell like vanilla, or maybe that used to smell like vanilla, then went bad. Not a great first impression.

  2. The BunBun only has one button, so to turn it on by holding down the button.
  3. Keep pressing the button to cycle through the 10 different vibration modes

My Personal Experience

Design

For the most part, I really liked the design of BunBun. The little cleft between the ears made it easy to place in just the right spot. Unlike the ears of a typical rabbit toy, with two separate ears you have to line up just right, this one was a lot more versatile. Your clit can go on the very tip for a caressing sensation (most similar to a usual rabbit vibrator), it can go in the slight cleft between the two ears, or it can go on the side of one of the ears. Such a simple, yet versatile design! It’s also designed in such a way that the stick you use as a handle doesn’t vibrate too violently in your hand.

OMGGG! BunBun

My one issue with it? The button. It’s located on the, well, BunBun itself, as opposed to the handle. That makes sense since the handle is so small. However, trying to press it while you’re using it isn’t exactly easy. Your best option is definitely finding an intensity or pattern you like and just sticking with it.

Material

The BunBun is made of smooth silicone. The silicone felt very soft and smooth.

The bunny ears

Stimulations

The vibrations are powerful, which may be a reason for beginners to stay away. As with other toys in this lineup, it has three regular vibrations that increase in intensity and seven patterns.

Sound Level

BunBun is decently quiet. While it’s not completely undetectable, it should be okay in most settings/situations.

Build Quality and Dimensions

With a length of 6.57 inches and a width of 1.54 inches, BunBun is long, yet not at all bulky, since a good portion of the length comes from the thin handle. Because of its length, it might not be ideal for travel, despite the cute bag it comes with, but it certainly won’t take up a lot of space in your bedside drawer.

BunBun charging

The quality was not amazing, however. The smell that hit me when I opened the bag was alarming enough, but the fact that it simply didn’t turn on one time when I tried to use it was also not…great. It was also difficult plugging in the pin plug. On one hand, I appreciate JimmyJane’s wanting to sell a product at a low price without making it super basic, but on the other, I’m disappointed that such an adorable toy doesn’t work the way I’d want it to.

Ease of Use

As I say, I struggled with using BunBun, in terms of plugging it in, pressing the button, reliably getting the button to work, etc. But the functionality could not be easier, with its one button. Also, the shape of BunBun makes it very intuitive to use properly, and the wealth of options in terms of how you can hold it makes it easy to find what’s most pleasurable to you.

The control button

Versatility

Again, the “ear” design of the toy makes it extremely versatile. As with most vibrators, it can be used on just about any external erogenous zone, and it could be especially fun during partner play. It’s also IPX6, meaning it’s splash-proof.

Warranty and Support

The BunBun comes with a one-year warranty.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

Honestly, I think the BunBun I got was a dud. While I could appreciate the great things about the design, my overall experience was not the best. From the weird smell to the difficulty in plugging in the charging cable to the fact that the button flaked out on me, the one I got was a problematic toy, to say the least. That said, it does come with a warranty, and $30 is about the lowest you can expect to spend on a toy that’s still decent.

Alternatives to OMGGG! BunBun

The Whisperer

While not quite as cute as the BunBun, the Whisperer by Smile Makers has an equally simple functionality that makes it ideal for someone who just wants to stick with the basics. It only has five vibration modes (three speeds and two patterns), but the difference between the first and third vibrations is quite drastic, while the BunBun’s lowest vibration setting would be a bit much for a beginner. A great go-to for anyone who wants to keep it simple, it’s hard to go wrong with The Whisperer.

Smile Makers Collection The Whisperer

The JimmyJane Form 2 Pro

As far as I’m concerned, JimmyJane has made the perfect little vibe, and it even has ears similar to the BunBun’s! The Form 2 Pro topped our list of Best Clit Vibes, and for good reason. With five patterns to choose from, as well as the ability to adjust the intensity (with five different levels on offer), there are 25 variations in all, making it easy to find your perfect vibe.
