My Personal Experience
Since this was my (and my partner’s) first foray into the wonderful world of cock sleeves, we didn’t know quite what to expect. I was excited that this toy is meant to help aid penetrative sex even when your partner isn’t hard.
Plus, it won another reviewer’s recognition as the best cock sleeve (read the full reviews here) due to its ultra-realistic design, body-safe materials, and gorgeous aesthetic. I knew I was about to try something life-changing!
Ease Of Use
We tried the Vixskin sheath several ways and had fun doing it. My partner put the penis extender on his flaccid penis first, and it took some time to get it on just right. Then, he tried it on while hard and said it was equally easy to get it on independent of his erection.
However, inserting the Colossus with a flaccid penis is much harder. Unless your dick is five inches long while fully flaccid, the top half is empty and collapses somewhat when you insert it because it’s so soft and heavy.
However, Vixen Creations also sells penis sleeve inserts to help fill the space between your dick and the tip. So, unless you have a show-er rather than a grow-er, you’ll probably want to purchase those if you plan to use the sheath without an erection.
Though it will be suitable for people with erectile dysfunction, it’s also not entirely functional on its own since it’s a bit too floppy for insertion without the inserts. A different size may not have had the same problem. But the truth is you need to get the right size for your hard-on to work as intended.
If you’re planning to use this penis extender while hard, that can also be reasonably tough. The Colossus is so thick that there isn’t much sensation for the wearer, even after insertion. Even though you have lube on, it doesn’t move, so the only feeling you have is the slight gripping upon insertion.
So even if you start hard, you may not stay hard throughout since the cock extender will limit the sensations you feel, and it will be nearly impossible for the guys wearing it to reach orgasm with one of these sleeves on.
Comfort
My partner found wearing the ball strap slightly uncomfortable and felt somewhat sore the next day.
