The We-Vibe Jive Lite is a discreet, app-compatible egg vibrator that delivers G-spot vibrations for less. Designed to be the go-to for entry-level wearable sex toys, it’s affordable, versatile, and easy to use. But there are so many vibrating eggs in the game: would this one stand out as a good one? Let’s talk about it in my extensive review!
Overall, I found this cute toy to be an excellent choice for those who prioritize comfort above all else. It works like a charm for foreplay and is ideal for those who have vaginismus or other forms of vaginal pain. It’s comfortable to wear for hours, and it is one of the quietest sex toys I own.
Who Should Try It? For a relatively affordable foreplay device that’s sure to get you in the mood, you can’t do better than the We-Vibe Jive Lite. It is an excellent choice for menopausal women experiencing dyspareunia, as it’s slender, easy to insert, and comfortable to wear for extended periods. It’s so quiet that it will appeal to those who dare to play in public.
Who Can Skip It? This is an entry-level toy, and may not be suitable for more experienced users who crave larger sizes and very strong stimulations. The app is also a bit iffy.

How Do I Use the We-Vibe Jive Lite?
The We-Vibe Jive Lite is relatively easy to use. First, unbox it and charge it. The website estimated that it would take ninety minutes to charge and then last for two hours on a full charge. When I tested the battery, it lasted nearly two hours and then took ninety minutes to return to a full charge, just as they suggested. Grab water-based lube and slip the egg inside your vagina. Then use the button on the external arm of the vibrator to try out the three intensities and seven rhythms. When you’re finished, wash it and store it in the storage bag until you’re ready for more.

My Personal Experience
Before I started reviewing sex toys, I wasn’t hugely into egg vibrators. But that’s because I didn’t have a chance to understand their appeal. Once an external-stimulation-only type of person, I’m now sold on what they can offer. See, these devices are playing the long game. You put one inside before you’re turned on, and it can tune you into internal sensations that might not have been readily available to you before. They can help you learn to experience higher arousal and make penetrative sex more pleasurable. For me, egg vibrators like the We-Vibe Jive Lite were a gateway drug to G-spot orgasms. So, I tried the We-Vibe Jive Lite before penetrative sex with my partner because it does all the heavy lifting of getting me revved up.
When I first turned it on, I felt nervous that the stimulations wouldn’t be enough. I’m quite sensitive, but some vibrators are just too light. Luckily, the second setting has much faster and stronger vibrations, but a lot of the rumble disappears. The higher settings were impressive and made it easy to orgasm when I used it internally and externally. Yes, I tried this on my clit, too, and it worked well.
I let my partner use the app to control the vibrator, and we had some mixed results. The app looks professional and is easy to use, but the connectivity is a bit of a gamble. That said, we tried it out in public, and we found that this is one of the quieter egg vibrators we’ve used. It’s so quiet, I would use it in a library with a microphone in my pants. I felt comfortable in a quiet coffee shop, even at the highest speeds. When my partner and I were in the same room, the connectivity wasn’t an issue. However, when he tried the long-distance function, sometimes it did not work reliably.
Next, I noticed it had a magnetic charging cable, which is my favorite kind. It stays plugged in easily, and you don’t have to worry that it will come unplugged if it is gently jostled.
The neck is so flexible that the arm is a little floppy, which ended up working well for me, since I could move it where I wanted. There aren’t any vibrations coming from the external arm of the vibrator, so don’t expect clitoral stimulation unless you take it out and use it solely on your clit. But the flexible neck was comfortable to wear, and the sleek egg shape was a dream to insert.
Packaging
For the price, the We-Vibe Jive Lite offers a five-star experience. The box looks modern and makes a great gift. Inside the box, you’ll find a USB recharging cable, a storage pouch, safety information, and a quick start guide (you can see all the items in the image below). The storage bag is sturdy and will keep it protected from other silicone devices you store in the same spot as this device. It’s small, ties shut, and is such a nice extra for an under-$100 toy. So many sex toys are coming without a storage bag, and so I appreciated the thoughtful touch of this inclusion.
Design
The We-Vibe Jive Lite’s design is slimmer for a more comfortable insertion process. This change may seem simple, but its effects can be massive for vulva-owners. Many vulva-havers experience dyspareunia, or pain during sex, and something easy to insert can be crucial for avoiding injury and increasing turn-on. This little stunner is an excellent choice for people who need a smaller device to help with arousal and make penetrative sex less painful and more pleasurable.
The egg shape doesn’t particularly target the G-spot, but it does manage to get the vibrations in the right place. In other words, it uses broad stimulations rather than pinpoint, so you feel a sensation of all-over tingling rather than pressure on the spot.
The neck was my primary concern. Since it is so flexible, I worried it wouldn’t be durable or would somehow break. However, I wasn’t extra gentle during use, and it stood up to repeated wear without issue.
Material
The We-Vibe Jive Lite is made from body-safe silicone. The materials are top-notch. It’s waterproof IPX7, making it easy to wash. It feels smooth, and with a little water-based lube, it glides in effortlessly. Speaking of the materials, silicone vibrators are not compatible with silicone lubricants, so use a water-based product for the longevity of your toy.
Stimulations
The stimulations span a wide range, though they start very light. The first setting is only meant for teasing or extended play sessions—something to get you in the mood rather than get you off. The stimulations are rather slight, even at the highest levels, so if you need strong G-spot sensations to get off, you might want to buy something else unless you plan on using the Jive Lite solely for foreplay.
There are only three levels when you’re using the one-button interface, so the spectrum of stimulations isn’t huge, but I was more than pleased with the highest level. After the three levels, you have seven rhythms to choose from, which are all great options for foreplay. In the app, you can tinker around and calibrate the intensity levels more precisely.
Sound Level
We-Vibe Jive Lite’s sound level is very quiet. When I tested the battery in my pocket, my visitors never once noticed. The decibels ranged from 36 to 41. That’s nearly as quiet as my house is in general! And once it’s inside your vagina, it’s undetectable. The discretion of this egg vibrator is unparalleled.
Build Quality and Dimensions
We-Vibe Jive Lite’s build quality is splendid. It feels sturdy and flexible, and I can tell it will be around for the long haul.
The dimensions are where this egg vibrator truly shines. The sleeker diameter of the egg makes insertion a breeze, even for this tester who has entered medical menopause (you can see how the dimensions compare to some of my other egg vibrators in the image below). Toys that are easy to insert are worth their weight in gold.
We-Vibe App
I’ve had the pleasure of using the We-Vibe app in conjunction with several sex toys, and I’ve found it to be a professionally designed, easy-to-use tool that magnificently ups the versatility of this sex toy. Not every sex toy benefits from app compatibility, but the Jive Lite does since it is primarily a public play or long-distance device.
The website said that they had improved their app connectivity, and I was eager to discover if this was the case. Unfortunately, I did encounter some issues. Sometimes it was easier to connect than others. From a short distance, it worked like a charm, but that was not always the case when I wore it and my partner tried to control it from across town. Sometimes the long-distance worked and sometimes it didn’t, even when we did the same thing. We are both familiar with sex toys, apps, and tech in general, so this was slightly disappointing.
Overall, using the app is straightforward, and it offers a more tailored vibration experience. It’s well worth the legwork of figuring out how to operate it. Download the app, and if you plan to share control with a remote partner, have them download the app as well. Turn on the Jive Lite, open the app, and pair the vibrator with the app. It only takes a second, and then you have many more settings to play with. You can sync the vibrations to a sexy playlist, have them controlled by the noise of your surroundings or your partner’s voice, or create a rhythm that’s all your own.
Ease of Use
The We-Vibe Jive Lite is simple to use. Washing is a cinch because it’s waterproof, so all you need to do is use water, antibacterial soap, and then dry it with a lint-proof towel. Additionally, you can purchase a remote control if that’s more your style, so that you can control the vibrator without the app or locating the button on the vibrator. The remote control is extra handy for public play enthusiasts who don’t trust the app’s connectivity.
The button on the external arm (image below) is easy to find and press, even when your brain is sex-hazed, so that’s a plus. Holding it down for a couple of seconds turns it on and off and cycles you through the levels, three of which are intensity and seven are rhythms. It was slightly hard for me to remember which setting I was on, which is the downside to having only one button. I would wonder if I could go just a little higher, and then inevitably I’d get to the rhythms and start over at square one. The app solved this problem, as I could gauge which intensity level I was at, and I could even put a ceiling on the intensity, which I never did because the vibrations were relatively mild.
Versatility
This egg vibe is truly quiet, and its slight stature makes it comfortable to wear around town. The app adds to its versatility, making it a viable option for long-distance partners, even if the connectivity varies. It’s waterproof so that you can bring it anywhere, too. It works as a G-spot vibrator, and the neck is flexible enough that it makes a decent clitoral vibrator, too, should the mood strike. It gets medium versatility points, which is stellar for an under $100 toy.
Warranty and Support
We-Vibe offers a two-year warranty on the Jive Lite.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The power and app reliability were slightly lacking, though that didn’t diminish my delight in using this with my partner before hooking up.
I also noted that the box claimed it had ten intensity levels, but that’s not quite true. There were only three levels and then seven rhythms. Sure, if you’re using the app, you have the opportunity to control it and access more levels, but if you’re using the buttons, you’ll only have three.

Alternatives to the We-Vibe Jive Lite
Lovense Lush Mini
The Lovense Lush Mini is an egg vibrator, similar in shape and function to the We-Vibe Jive Lite. The first setting of the We-Vibe Jive Lite is noticeably less powerful than the Lovense Lush Mini, and overall, the Mini is a more potent vibe. The Jive Lite’s slower vibrations feel a bit rumblier, though, but also more mechanical and not quite as smooth as the Lush Mini’s. The Jive Lite’s arm is much more flexible than the Lush Mini, and that makes it comfortable to wear and easier to use for external clitoral vibrations, if that’s more your speed. And the Jive Lite is significantly cheaper at $99 and comes with a storage bag. The Lovense app, however, is slightly more reliable for long-distance play.

We-Vibe Jive 2
We-Vibe Jive 2 is a lot like the Jive Lite, but the Lite is designed to be sleeker and more comfortable to wear. I loved the original build of the Jive 2; the bulbous shape of the internal egg offers your G-spot a little bit of pressure along with the vibrations. If you choose the Lite version instead, you give up that slight feeling of pressure for an easier insertion process. You also give up the remote control, which is noticeably more reliable than the app. The We-Vibe Jive 2 is $140, which feels pricy for what you get. Most people will be happier with the savings the Jive Lite brings, but those who need a remote control will want to splurge on the Jive 2.
