3, 2, 1 Liftoff!
Let’s get personal: I don’t have a penis. But fortunately, my partner does, and he was willing to donate his parts for this science experiment. Before we started, we knew this would be a stroker that could heat up while in use, so it would be distinct from the other penis toys we have, and we were excited to experiment.

Packaging
This part is where I usually say the Arvos come with everything you need. However, mine came without an instruction manual. I reached out to Jimmyjane to see if there was a digital manual they could send me, and I learned that they don’t have a manual.
I’m hoping they reconsider this, as I undoubtedly could have used one.
Otherwise, the packaging was phenomenal! The box was sturdy and well-designed. The contents were simple: the Arvos and a charger were all I received. And other than a guide, it was everything I needed.
Material
Arvos is made from silicone. It’s not the ultra-soft kind, but it’s soft enough to do the trick.
Dimensions
This toy is somewhat large and would unquestionably fit most larger-sized penises. The silicone is also soft and thin enough on one side to ensure a relatively snug fit around your penis by strengthening your grip, which is handy so that it will work for various sizes.
Design
This little guy looks like an adorable, light purple spaceship. It’s a gorgeous toy.
Battery Life and Charging
The device is rechargeable, and the website says it will last one hour after a 2.5-hour charging session, which isn’t an ideal ratio. However, when I tested it, the battery lasted 4.5 hours. It took 2 hours and 7 minutes to charge.
I typically test toys on their first setting, so I turned the Arvos onto its first setting. The first setting seemed to be pressure-activated, so it would turn off whenever I stopped touching it.
Out of pure dedication to science, I walked around with this stroker on my hand throughout the battery test, which is an excellent way to numb your hand.
Controls
There are only two buttons, so if you know what you’re doing, the Arvos is reasonably simple to use, but I will say it’s not incredibly intuitive.
The top button is a power button and also toggles the warming function. The s-shaped button below cycles you through the various patterns and intensities and turns the rumbly motor on and off.
Warranty and Support
Jimmyjane offers a one-year warranty against workmanship and defects in their toys.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Strokers are slightly more complicated to clean since they have an inside and an outside. Arvos has seams, too, since the top is made from a different material than the silicone bottom. Wash with warm soap and water, being careful not to submerge it because this toy is splashproof rather than waterproof.
How To Use Jimmyjane Arvos?
- After you charge and wash the Arvos, the next step is grabbing water-based lube.

My Personal Experience
Ease Of Use
My partner and I were super excited to try a Jimmyjane toy. After getting it out of the box, it was time to experiment. Since we didn’t have a manual, he just put his penis in and hoped for the best!
The putting-your-penis-in step is adorable because it looks like your penis is boarding a spacecraft. I am nicknaming this sex toy Buzz Aldrin or maybe the Cock Rocket.
Since it came without instructions and a manual was not readily available online, we assumed it must be pretty intuitive to use. A bold assumption on our part!
At first, the toy seemed to respond to pressure. It barely did anything when he tried it flaccid, as the light, buzzy motor wasn’t very effective without an erection. However, as angles changed and he became more erect, the rumbly motor activated.
After using it for a while, the pressure activation seemed to go away, with both motors staying on no matter what. Without a manual, we were unsure if only specific settings had the pressure-activation feature or if the toy was less responsive to pressure later in the session.
After that, we tried quickly pressing the power button, and it turned red. That triggered the warming function, and the warming sensation was a fantastic addition to the experience.
Pro Tip: Only later did we realize that we could deactivate the pressure-activated rumbly motor by holding down the pattern-select button.
The Arvos has a lot of vibration transfer. So, if you use this toy for long periods, your hands may go numb.
Overall, he could see the possibility of climaxing from the vibrations alone, but he found that stroking was helpful.
Sound Level
I want to take a moment to laugh about how loud it was. It was so loud. The only louder toy we have is the Motorbunny Buck, which sounds like a sex helicopter. The Arvos don’t simulate a hummer so much as a yeller. If this were any louder, we’d have to get a permit to operate it after 8:00 pm.

Versatility

To keep the strongest motor activated, all you need to do is keep your thighs squeezed together. That means turning it on and using the tip for broad stimulation. It’s quite a bit more powerful than several of the other vibrators I own—it’s more like a wand than a bullet vibrator. I used it sans lube outside my pants to give you an idea of how powerful this thing is.
So, this toy should work for people of any gender who like vibration.
In the end, this toy got both of us off, which is impressive.
