What is Lovense Diamo?
The Lovense Diamo App Controlled Vibrating Cock Ring is a sleek, black, vibrating cock ring that you control via Lovense’s phone app. Visually, the Diamo is the Ferrari of cock rings, and its masculine look gave me the confidence to wear it in the bedroom without looking like a novelty item.
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
Like other sex toys I purchased from Lovense, the Diamo was packaged nicely inside a matte white box with essential accessories (image below). A cute black pouch and quick setup guide are also a welcome addition to the pack.
Unlike other brands, Lovense doesn’t provide sample lube sachets with their toys, so ensure you have some ready at home before using the Diamo. The Lovense website offered me their water-based lubricant at checkout for an additional $10, which is nice, but good marketing would be to include a small sample with each new product purchase.
The toy didn’t come with much charge, so I recommend getting it on the charge a few hours before you expect to be getting randy with it.
Four Wearable Positions
If you’re like me and get bored with the same positions, the Diamo may be for you, as you can wear it in four different positions. This feat is accomplished by placing the vibrating arm in various positions, stimulating other regions:
- For males, it can tickle your perineum while worn at the base of your penis and around your testicles. Or put it halfway down and have the arm rub your head.

My Personal Experience
Introduction
After doing next to zero work in helping my partner book our weekend getaway, it was only fair that I returned the favor by supplying some hot sex toys for the nighttime activities. Diamo was on our list for a while and I couldn’t wait to try it. Any toy that offers various functions and aims to please both partners will always be on our list.
The fact that Lovense is an inclusive, open-minded sex toy company also appealed to my partner, who often complains about the corny and male-dominated marketing used by many companies.
Packaging
Lovense packaging is consistently “OK,” with neat-looking white boxes showing a clear product image and some basic descriptions. I wouldn’t gift a Lovense toy when some ultra-premium makers have fancier packaging, but they do the job.
The black storage bag means I’m never inclined to keep the outer packaging anyway, something that can’t be said for my partner, who has 4 iPhone boxes in her drawer for no apparent reason.
However, if you need something giftable that’s presented in a luxury package, it falls a bit short. For this particular use case, I recommend LELO Tor 3, which has a premium box and better overall presentation.
Build Quality
For a company that aims at middle-of-the-road pricing, I’ve found most Lovense products to be well-made with beautiful designs.
The silky black silicone and rounded, oversized shape made it easy to handle during even the wildest of times. We love to keep things slippery, and even with a ton of lube covering the Diamo and ourselves, it was never an issue to switch modes when required.
I can’t see any part of the toy that may be prone to breakage or failure, and simplicity seems to be the key to Lovense’s growing reputation for quality sex toys.
Design
The Diamo is firm yet slightly stretchy. The plus side is it’s firm enough for the vibrations to travel through the ring. The downside, however, is that it wasn’t stretchy enough to fit easily around my shaft and testicles without much effort. The ring felt thick as I was guiding over my nuts, and I was worried I might pinch some loose skin while struggling to get it on. For this particular test criteria, both LELO Tor 3 and We-Vibe Bond were easier to put on and off.
The massaging arm (circled above) can vibrate up quite a storm and feel good during use. As for the small nubs, I am not convinced they added much to the stimulation experience, but they may help hold the ring in place against your cool skin.
Materials
The body is made from medical-grade silicone and comes in all black. It’s also non-allergenic and Phthalate-free. The only downside to the material and color choice is that it’s a magnet for dust, but thankfully it comes with a storage bag (image below).
Ease of use
Using the toy manually was extremely easy with a small amount of lube and the press of a finger. Using the app may take a few minutes the first time to connect, but after that, it’s a matter of seconds and a few clicks on the screen for you or your partner.
Manual use is also a breeze, with one button to turn the toy on and off and switch through the modes. When charging, a little red LED light will indicate if your Diamo needs to be charged or ready for use.
Stimulations
As far as vibrating toys go for men, I am generally not a fan, but I am not the primary beneficiary of these vibrations, so I was open to trying. I was shocked by how good it felt when applied to my perineum, and it was a nice little add-on.

App Control
Lovense has the cleanest, most user-friendly, and least buggy sex toy app. In my opinion, it’s better than We-Vibe Connect. Most of their toys will connect seamlessly to the Lovense Remote app, and the Diamo was no different.
A simple “Add Toy” button with Bluetooth connectivity enabled will connect you within seconds. The company is constantly updating its apps, too, with firmware updates regularly requested when you connect your toy.
You can give your toy a name, and program-specific patterns, enable/disable the LED light, vibe to the music, and even remember your settings from the last wild session (Screenshots from the app below).
Long-distance control was also a great function to try. I wore the Diamo on the way to the store just outside our hotel. My partner used the app to have me close to moaning while waiting in line for some beers. By the time I made it back to our hotel, I was practically rock hard and hiding my boner in the lift, ready for round two as soon as I walked in the door. Remote play for the win!
Compared to manually, the app lets us play with many fantastic settings. Some settings suited different sex positions better than others. Minor Issues I Found During Testing
One problem with all the Lovense toys I have tested is their magnetic charger. Heaven knows why a company would try to avoid standard charging systems like USB 3. The two-pronged magnets need to be placed precisely in position (like in the image below), and any slight knock will dislodge the charger and leave you with an undercharged device when required.
Also, as I said above, I found it less stretchy than other models. Hence, I am concerned about whether it will fit men outside the average-size segment. So if you have a micro penis or are well-endowed, I believe LELO Tor 3 is a better fit.
In addition, it was a bit clunky during coupled sex, particularly the huge vibration pad. For this particular use case, I believe LELO Tor 3 performed better as it was more comfortable to use with my wife.
