The package came in a brown cardboard box with no markings that gave away what was inside.

Important: Shockspot makes the machines to order, so delivery takes an average of two weeks, depending on where you live.
The Features
This part is a bit more technical, but we’ll try to explain the features as clearly as possible.
First and foremost, it’s essential to know something about the mechanics behind these machines. Today, most products use a flywheel or an arm as a rotating body. This mechanism converts that rotation into a thrusting sex motion using a coupling rod.
But the Shockspot machine is different. It uses a linear motor to drive the thrusting. What does that mean? Well, it means fewer moving parts, making the device safer.
In other words, there won’t be a lot of places to get fingers, hair, or other things to get stuck in.
Secondly, the manufacturers usually describe their fucking machines using the term torque. Torque is a physical measurement of the twisting force on a rotating body (like a bolt or a flywheel). The maximum torque of the Shockspot is 105 pound-inches for a 12-inch machine. In comparison, other products only have about 20 pound-inches of torque. The difference sets it apart from its competitors. You see, the Shockspot can provide a maximum of 8 kg (17.535 lbs) of thrust. Thirdly, the entire machine weighs only 23 lbs which is lighter than most models. For storage purposes, it folds flat. So if you need to take it somewhere else, removing the feet allows the entire device to easily fit in a suitcase or a medium-sized bag.
All these things boil down to a simple conclusion. There’s a lot of power behind the Shockspot. And with all of that power, we haven’t been able to stall it quite yet.
The Design
The frame has heavy-duty aluminum and stainless steel. It’s really sleek, shiny, and sexy to look at.
The build quality feels solid, and it looks like it will last a long time. The feet look too narrow for comfort, but stability wasn’t an issue for us.
Important: Using it at full height can cause stability problems, so consider your available space and surface before investing in the Shockspot.
Furthermore, three clamps allow the frame to move into your desired position. They are easy to loosen and tighten by hand, and there are more than enough to hold the machine in place.
So far, we have tried the machine doggy style, on Sandra’s back, her side (spooning), and even in a standing position. It’s just that versatile.
You can access the controls from the stand-alone remote or your computer. If you choose to use the Shock Spot machine with a computer, don’t plug in the remote simultaneously. In the manual, a section clearly states that connecting it to a computer and the remote can damage it. Weirdly, there aren’t any safeguards against such behavior for such an expensive machine. But we don’t think we want to test out what happens when we plug both. We’d rather stay on the safe side and use them one at a time.
The Remote Controller
The stand-alone remote controller allows us to use the machine without linking it to a computer. It has a basic start and stop button and four dials that control depth, max stroke, speed, and smoothness.
Depth determines how deep it will fuck you. Max stroke is the maximum length of thrust the machine will do. Speed determines the maximum speed at which the thrust rod can move, and smoothness changes the acceleration or deceleration rate of the thrust rod.
Setting acceleration on low gives you a gentle thrust and change in direction per stroke. However, a low acceleration setting on a short depth and max stroke may not give it enough time to reach the maximum speed setting it can go. On the other hand, setting smoothness to high gives you a more rapid and jerky stroke action.
You can use the controls while the device is running, allowing you to change and experiment mid-session. It’s so much fun to try out different combinations without having to stop, remove myself from the machine, alter the settings, and then restart as we would in a regular model with no remote controller.
Be aware the changes will only affect the end of its current stroke, meaning there can be a noticeable lag time between the input and the change in the device’s stroke settings, especially on lower speed settings.
The Computer Control
The CD ROM has software that allows you to control the Shockspot sex machine from a computer. The software, called Shockspot Touch and Feel Software (for Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10), doesn’t take too much time to install from the CD.
You should check if your computer has a CD ROM drive, though. Many newer computers forego the CD ROM drive in favor of more modern data storage options like USB ports. Some computers may need an additional communications driver that allows the machine and the computer to communicate with each other. Most will just need to connect the two devices through the USB cable to get the software to work.
The welcome page of the Touch and Feel program has all the controls of the remote controller. It has another bar called Maximum Depth, a safety feature that allows you to set a penetration depth the program cannot exceed.
The interface of the Shockspot computer software
While the remote controller is far superior to the software in controlling the machine, the software comes with a key feature that the remote controller cannot do. The software allows you to make your own routines for the Shockspot to execute. The interface is intuitive and versatile and contains lines that enable you to define what you want your device to do for a specified period.
This feature allows you to create patterns of sexual pleasure from a long slow session that takes time to ramp up to high-speed sexual sessions with rapid rhythm switches.

Remote vs. Computer Control
Getting to control the Shockspot fucking machine with a computer is great and all, but we find the remote controller so much better to navigate. Having everything controllable with a button or dial is excellent. Overall, it’s straightforward to use.
The setup for the remote control is also a lot easier and faster. Please note that some suppliers sell the remote control separately, so ensure your product comes with one.
Shockspot Adaptors
The package should come with a Vac-u-lock adaptor that allows you to use the Shockspot with any compatible dildo. You will know if a dildo is compatible with the adaptor if it has the Vac-u-lock slot at its base. This nifty feature gives you so much more value out of the Shockspot.
The Vac-u-lock adaptor is made of the same heavy-duty aluminum as the rest of the device, except it’s a lovely deep blue color instead of the shiny silver frame.
You can also get a universal adaptor. The universal adaptor allows the Shockspot to support any dildo, even those incompatible with the Vac-u-lock adaptor. Sweet!

How To Use the Shockspot Machine?
Getting the most out of the Shockspot fucking machine takes a bit of learning and experimentation.

We don’t have many major negative things to say about it, apart from the noise and the minor stability issues when you have it completely standing up (which you probably shouldn’t be doing anyway).
