How We Picked the Products

After thorough testing, we feel that we cannot recommend the Auxfun Basic Sex Machine because of its flimsy and bendable dildo connectors. The thin rods were bending, even as we tried to connect each attachment very carefully. On top of that, some of the attachments were cheaper than others, and we worried that they were so shoddy that they would only last one session. None of them broke during use, but some never connected well with the thruster and would fly off at higher speeds. Overall, we feel that this model will not last for a very long time. However, their Prime model above has better connectors and is a much better option.

How To Choose A Good Product

How To Use A Sex Machine?

In our opinion, sex machines are not ideal for folks who are new to the world of sex toys. They’re great fun, but the learning curve is a bit steep. We’d recommend starting out with a more basic vibrator or prostate massager first; sex machines will be ready and waiting for you.

1. You should always make sure that your sex machine is stable. This means putting it on a firm, flat surface. If there’s any indication that it may slip, put down some shelf liner or rug grip (both available at hardware or big-box stores). You don’t want any unexpected movement that may damage the sex machine, or worse, you!
2. Make sure that you understand how to use the controls. Cycle through the settings, and test the speed/intensity on your inner arm or calf before you try it anywhere else. Check that the remote control is responsive and easy to access. And just like a fire drill, formulate an escape plan if these precautions aren’t enough.
3. Lube is a necessity here, especially if you’re planning on venturing into some of the higher speeds. We recommend a good-quality water-based lube, since that is safe for any dildos or other attachments and won’t gunk up the engine (because sometimes things get messy). Keep the lube tube handy since you may need to reapply.

How To Clean A Sex Machine?

Cleaning a machine seems like it would be a daunting task, but really, you can concentrate on cleaning the dildo or other attachments. For the machine itself, wiping down with a damp, soft, lint-free washcloth should be sufficient. If it is a saddle-style model with a removable cover, take the cover off and clean it according to the manufacturer’s directions.

You will clean the dildo the same way that you would clean any other dildo or vibrator. If it is waterproof, wash it well with warm water and mild fragrance-free soap. Rinse under running water until all suds are gone and the water is clear. Pat it dry with a towel and let it finish air-drying out of direct sunlight and away from any heat source. If the dildo is not waterproof, you can use a specialized sex toy cleaner or follow the manufacturer’s recommendations.
