Satisfyer Pro 2 Review 2024 | How Good Is This Sucker?!

Featured image
When I first tried the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation, I was cautiously optimistic. The technology is intriguing, that’s for sure. Using pressure wave technology instead of vibrations can bypass the hand numbness that a long session with a wand can generate. And yet, the thought of something that latches onto the clit gave me mixed feelings, to say the least.

Would the suction be pleasant or overly intense? Would it replace my vibrator? Would I be satisfyed? Read on to find all the answers!

What Is The Satisfyer Pro 2?

The Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is a clit sucker that uses air pulse technology to get you off. And it’s credited online with giving many women their first orgasms. When reading the reviews of this toy, words like “miracle,” “life-changing,” “five stars,” and “best orgasm ever” are tossed around casually and frequently. It’s supposed to be fast, and it’s supposed to be powerful.

However, the hype is one thing, and reality is another. Thousands singing the praises of a device is not always what a happy customer makes—especially when it comes to something as subjective as an adult toy and as personal as sexual pleasure and orgasm.

Many people have described the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation as something that mimics the sensations of oral sex. However, oral sex encompasses a broad spectrum of activities, and in my experience, only a small selection includes sucking and blowing. So, the Pro 2 has a reputation that precedes it and a lot to live up to.

First Impressions & Features

Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation features at a glance:

  • Material: Primarily ABS plastic
  • Length: 6.5”
  • Color: Rose gold and white
  • Mechanism: Suction

Packaging

Sad but true: I’m a sucker for pretty packaging. I know you’re only supposed to care about what’s on the inside, but a sexy box makes toys feel giftable and luxurious. The Satisfyer Pro 2 packaging, for me, seemed adequate. It got the job done, but the packaging alone will not make you want to run out and buy it for your best friend. It’s a basic pink box.

Satisfyer Pro 2 packaging

Inside the box, there’s no storage pouch, which is always a plus but not an absolute necessity. But there is a magnetic charger, safety information, and a manual with instructions to look through. It’s safe to say that if you buy a budget-friendly option, the packaging will reflect it. This one does. If the packaging doesn’t matter to you, this is a great place to save money.

Material

The Satisfyer Pro 2 is made from body-safe materials, which is the most critical component of sex toy purchases. The handle has ABS plastic, and the white nozzle is medical-grade silicone, which is much softer and friendlier towards the sensitive bits. The mouth of the toy is a bit hard, which could affect your experience if you’re sensitive like I am.

Dimensions

While the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation isn’t travel-size per se, it’s not as large as some adult toys and could fit into your bag for intense on-the-go pleasure. It’s smaller than a lot of dildos and easily twice the size of my bullet vibe, to give you a vague idea.

To give you a specific idea, the Satisfyer Pro 2 Next Generation is listed as 6.5” long, 1.8” wide, and 2.6” tall on the manufacturer’s website. I measured mine, and it matched the descriptions. If space is so tight in your purse that you’re willing to do the math to figure out whether this will work for you, now you know.

Design

The body of the next-generation model is a rose gold color and has a pretty basic design. It’s not incredibly sleek or modern, but it’s not so phallus-shaped that it will immediately catch the eye of your houseguests if they peek inside your nightstand. It might still stand out, but less so than a neon nine-inch dildo.

In addition, it’s sturdy but not heavy. It’s easy to hold in your hand, but the buttons are a bit stiff and require a measure of effort to press.

Battery Life and Charging

The first thing I did after opening the Satisfyer Pro 2 was to charge it—and it’s a good idea to get started early on this front. The first charge could take up to eight hours, a pretty long wait if you were intent on a pressure wave stimulation orgasm.

The box says it will last ninety minutes and then needs a ninety-minute charge. I tested it on setting five in a bowl of water so I could see the fruits of its labor and because I didn’t want to limp around for an entire week, which would happen if I used a clit sucker for ninety minutes straight. It actually lasted an hour and fifty-four minutes before becoming noticeably quieter and then turning off. Afterward, it took an hour to charge. Considering how quickly this thing tends to make folks reach climax, the battery life is plenty, functionality-wise.

Lastly, the Satisfyer Pro 2 has a magnetic charging setup, which is my favorite. A magnetic USB charger means that if you get the charging cord within the vicinity of the bottom of the toy, it will snap into place, which is less fiddly than some plug-ins and especially helpful for anyone with limited hand use. It’s a small touch that makes the toy easier to use.

Satisfyer Pro 2 charging

Rechargeable batteries are nearly always a plus. The only time they don’t come in handy is when you’re in the middle of things, and they die before you reach orgasm. You can’t replace the battery and get started again—you have to charge it. So, unless you stay on top of your charging game, you might find yourself in a disappointing situation, waiting ninety minutes for your next orgasm.

Warranty and Support

Satisfyer offers a fifteen-year warranty on its merchandise. That’s pretty good for a budget clitoris stimulator. Keep your proof of purchase and contact customer service if something stops working.

Further, they sell replacements for the charging cable and the silicone nozzle. The nozzles come in different sizes, which can help doctor your experience if the standard suction head doesn’t work for you. Plus, Satisfyer devices use the same charging cable for all of their toys, which simplifies the charging situation if you own more of their toys.

How To Use Satisfyer Pro 2?

Reading the safety manual is among the many joys of reviewing female sex toys. Sage advice like “Do not throw the product into fire” is included. However, there are more salient issues, especially with a clit sucker. For instance, you shouldn’t use it if you have pierced genitalia and are wearing jewelry, as it could cause injury. Remember to take all your clitoris piercings out before using the Satisfyer Pro 2 because, ouch.

After you charge the Satisfyer Pro 2, you should reach for the lube. Be sure to use water-based lube. Silicone toys plus silicone-based lubricant equals future disappointment. Lube up the toy, and then lube up your clit, too.

Plan to spend some time getting the head positioned right on your clitoral area. If it’s not exactly right, you’ll hear a loud whirring sound. Adjust until it feels comfortable, and use more lube than you think you need. Once in position, the toy will create suction around your clitoris and start pulsing.

The controls on the Satisfyer Pro 2 include an on/off power button and a higher-or-lower intensity switch. They are intuitive to operate, but the buttons have seams you should clean with something that can get into the little crevices, like a toothbrush.

You can use the buttons to ratchet the intensity up to eleven, a setting that was made for people quite a bit braver than I am. I was content at setting two, thanks to a sensitive clit.

My Personal Experience

When anything claims to be one size fits all, it’s rarely true. People come in a vast array of shapes and making something that will suit everyone guarantees that it will fit almost no one well. So, I think the biggest challenge facing the Pro 2 is the different sizes of clits that everyone has, and that the hole in the nozzle needs to fit comfortably and ostensibly create a good seal.

Ease Of Use

When I first tried the Satisfyer Pro 2, my findings were uneven. I’m a pretty seasoned sex toy enthusiast, but it was difficult to position the correct way. I moved it a bit lower, and it was a more pleasant sensation, but nothing groundbreaking. For me, this was the trickiest part. The body-safe silicone head didn’t feel very comfortable at first—it felt hard and pointy, especially when I tried to create a seal for full-suction action. Though the Pro 2 doesn’t function as a vibrator, the sensation was unmistakably buzzy.

Stimulations

Since the Satisfyer Pro 2 is submergible, I moved my experiment to the bathtub. After running a bath, I tried the Satisfyer Pro 2 again, which was far more comfortable. At lower speeds in the bathtub, the Satisfyer was silent. But the higher intensity levels were definitely audible. For me, underwater use of the Pro 2 was much more fun than between-the-sheets.

I also found that if you’re extra sensitive, you can move the toy an inch away and the water will pulse around you, which is a nice break from the intensity of the air pulse. So, you don’t have to create a tight seal for the toy to be pleasurable, especially if you’re having a bath.

I didn’t have multiple orgasms ripped from me at dizzying speeds, as many users reported in their reviews. But the sensation was unique and pleasant, and I liked the touch-free aspect. The anticipation is the best part, anyway. A toy that left that part out could never be my fave.

Sound Level

The package says that the Satisfyer Pro 2 comes with a whisper mode. However, it’s important to note that if you don’t get it positioned the right way, the toy will be loud. So, if you’re using this toy for stealthy solo play and are concerned about the noise level, you’ll need to get good at finding the right position quickly. Don’t expect your roommates not to know what you’re up to if you have thin walls.

Review Summary

Stimulation3 out of 5 stars
Suction4 out of 5 stars
Cleanup5 out of 5 stars
Price5 out of 5 stars
Overall Rating4.3 out of 5 stars

In the end, I think the Satisfyer Pro 2 is an excellent buy for someone who knows they are into pulsating air stimulations. If you’ve only ever used vibrators, purchasing a toy that does both might be better. The price point makes up for many of the disadvantages.

In my opinion, it doesn’t mimic oral sex, so I’m not ready to trade in my vibrator just yet. But the air pulse stimulations offer an exhilarating sensation that clarifies why so many clit-havers are obsessed with this toy. The Pro 2 is also perfect if you’re in the mood for shower or bath play.

Are There Any Good Alternatives?

The Womanizer

The Womanizer is another popular brand of clitoral suction toy. As a sidebar, the Satisfyer Pro 2 wins in terms of names. Call me new-fashioned, but I don’t like the idea of a womanizer unless we’re at karaoke, and I’ve started into my Britney Spears repertoire. The word is needlessly gendered and isn’t friendly to trans and nonbinary folks. But beyond that, there are a lot of differences between the Satisfyer and the Womanizer.

Womanizer Premium 2

The Womanizer costs a bit more, for starters. One of the main draws of the Satisfyer is the price point: you can find one for around $50 or less. Womanizer devices start at $80 and go up to $200+ (the exception being the Starlet Snow version, which is about $50). Both the Womanizer and Satisfyer devices have body-safe materials. Satisfyer is the budget model, and the Womanizer options have a more elegant design.

Other Satisfyer Models

Compared with other Satisfyer models, the Pro 2 is a mixed bag. The Satisfyer Number One is only $20, but it runs on AAA batteries. It also doesn’t have an on/off switch—you have to turn the intensity up until it peaks, and then it turns off, which is the same mechanism many vibrators use.

The Satisfyer Pro Penguin is very similar to the Pro 2. The Penguin is fully waterproof, doesn’t function as a vibrator, and uses pressure wave stimulation on your clitoral hood. A significant difference is the aesthetic: the Penguin has a cute little bow tie and tuxedo. If you’re in the market for a sex toy that’s dressed to impress, the Penguin is a great choice.

The original Satisfyer Pro 2 and Pro 2 Next Generation are quite similar. There’s a slight difference in the shape of the nozzle and the color, but overall, they are nearly identical.

The Satisfyer Pro 1+ (the next generation of the Pro 1) has a bit more awkward shape, but it functions as a vibrator as well as a clit sucker. The Satisfyer Pro 3+ (an update to the Pro 2 version) has a sleeker design, is made of silky, body-safe materials, and has a vibration option in addition to the air pulses. The Pro 3+ design is also not an “L” shape, so it would be easier to use with other products, like a dildo if that’s your thing. The Satisfyer clitoral stimulation products are all generally within $10 of each other. So, if you’re dipping your toes into the wild world of air pressure waves, it’s probably a good idea to get one that works as a vibrator, just in case your clit doesn’t like the suction sensation.

New Satisfyer versions like the Curvy and the Dual connect to an app, making it easier to operate for those who have trouble reaching the buttons. It also means your partner could control your orgasms remotely, making business trips more fun.
