Tim got me the original Lush as soon as it was out. We enjoyed going out to our favorite restaurant, mainly because he had the Lovense mobile application on his phone. He always looked forward to teasing me every day! Soon enough, Lovense released the Lush 2 as an upgrade to the original Lush. You can imagine my level of excitement!
I immediately bought it from the official Lovense store so could see if it was better than the first model.
Let’s first talk about my first impressions, the design, the features, how to use the device, followed by my experience using it, and then finish off with my recommendations. Let’s go!

So do I recommend Lush 2? Heck yeah! It’s a much-improved version, and the company fixed the issues with the first model without increasing the price that much. Further, it’s one of the most versatile sex toys on the market, and you can use it solo, with your partner, or for remote play. Plus, you can customize most vibrations to create the patterns that match your personality the best.
The Lush 2 is an example of what a few design and performance improvements can do to a toy. I think the company did a great job on this one, and I do not doubt you’ll enjoy the sensation too.
Any downsides? Well, not many. One minor thing is the lack of clit stimulation, but you can always buy a bullet vibe, egg vibrator, or clitoral vibrator and use them simultaneously!

What is Lovense Lush 2?
The Lush 2 is an app-controlled wearable vibrator from Lovense, upgraded from its successful predecessor, the original Lush. The new and improved wireless vibrator has a stronger motor, and the Bluetooth chip has moved to the end of the antennae. The upgrade also made the ON/OFF button more accessible even when you’re wearing the vibrator. It comes with a smartphone app, and you can either connect it to your cell phone via Bluetooth for close-range stimulation or via the internet for long-distance fun.
Pro Tip: The Lush 2 is ideal for people with arthritis and other conditions that limit hand activity. With the Lovense remote app, you can enjoy exciting sensations without holding onto the vibrator or moving it with your hands.
First Impression, Design, and Features

As mentioned earlier, I used the original Lush, and the marginal shortfalls in design had me yearning for an upgrade. As soon as the Lush 2 launched, I couldn’t be happier. I’ve unboxed dozens of sex toys before, but I’m always the happiest when waiting for toy upgrades. I knew what was missing from the previous version and what I was expecting with the upgrade, making the wait an emotional roller-coaster.
As soon as Lush 2 was delivered, it was go time. I used it for solo play at first because Tim wasn’t in the house, but we had to test the foreplay and remote play mode later on in the day.
Long story short, the package arrived in good time, and here is my first impression:
1. The Packaging
Lovense Lush 2 comes in a sturdy cardboard box that doubles as a storage unit for the vibrator. The box has usage and care information as well as the USB cable. And while it isn’t overly discreet, Lovense maintained class with a simple box that’s small enough to tuck away on your top shelf.
Inside the box, you’ll find a USB charging cable and an information booklet. I expected to have a satin bag for discreet storage, but I had a few lying around the house, so that wasn’t a problem. I also thought I’d get a sachet of single-use lube, like other toys, but there was no lube in the package.
Overall, the packaging is neat, with the basic amenities and a sturdy box to store the vibrator when not in use.
2. The Material
Like other toys in the Lovense collection, the pink Lush 2 is made of 100% soft-textured silicone material. From the bendable Bluetooth antenna to the bulbous G-Spot stimulator, everything is hypoallergenic silicone. Why silicone? You might be asking. Well, in addition to being body-safe, the material is also non-porous, waterproof, heat resistant, easy to clean, and very durable. It also passed my smell test.
Lush 2 felt soft on the hands. It also has a great ergonomic shape, making it easy to slide it into the vulva. The long antenna provides good connectivity and makes it easy to turn it on or off. Unlike other sex toy materials, this one doesn’t feel sticky after cleaning.
3. The Body and Antenna
Lush 2 has a streamlined and innovative design with a bulbous head and a thin 4.8-inch long antenna. The bulbous end is angled to squeeze your G-spot with the mellow vibrations from the strong motor. The 3-inch-long and 1.5-inch-wide rounded head presses the G-spot, creating some genuinely intense stimulation.
On the other end, the elongated antenna sprouts from the vagina and lies comfortably against the pelvic bone. It fits snugly and won’t be noticeable under most clothing, allowing you to enjoy discreet remote play. Moreover, the ON/OFF button is located at the antenna’s tip, making it easy to turn Lush 2 on or off when you want.
4. The Controls
When unboxing the Lush 2, there weren’t additional gadgets in the box, which leaves the button and Lovense mobile app to be the only control options. The button control offers seven different vibration modes:
- Low.
- Medium.
- High, Pulse.
- Wave.
- Fireworks.
- Earthquake.
The best thing about the modes is the ease of control — you only use one button.
5. The Smartphone App
For the Lovense remote app, you can either use the available patterns or, better still, create your own. And if you enjoy a specific vibration pattern, you can even save it for later use.
The app also lets you sync the vibrations to your favorite music. This way, you can calibrate the vibrations to imitate the song’s rhythm. It can also be programmed to be voice control-activated so that the intensity changes with different commands for a completely hands-free experience.
Lush 2 also has a messaging feature, allowing you to communicate with your sex life partner in real time. You can schedule playtime, exchange feedback, and enjoy a laugh together regardless of the distance. And if you have multiple partners, the app allows you to connect multiple inputs. Simply have them download the Lovense Remote app and accept your request. Now their long-distance play options will be available in a private chat room.
My Personal Experience
Update: I hadn’t used the device for at least six months, and when I took it out, it hadn’t lost its battery power! That’s amazing. Not many sex toys can keep their power for such a long time.
As stressed before, the toy arrived when Tim wasn’t home, and I had to try out solo play alone, as it should be. After preparing the mood, I poured lube on my vagina as well as the toy. I had to wiggle it a few times before settling on the best position, but the process was blissful. The bulbous head tickled my G-spot as the antenna transferred the subtle rumble to the clit.
I enjoyed using the nifty Lovense app because of the versatility it offers. The control button also came in handy with seven different patterns. I’d say I lasted a solid 12 minutes before everything exploded. We’ve also used it for foreplay, allowing Tim to concentrate on other areas as the rumbles hit all the right spots.
Most, if not all, of the time, we’ve used the vibe for discreet public play has been at our favorite restaurant. Tim enjoys taking control and getting me unawares. Of course, I’ve had to reach out for the button a few times, but the naughty, unpredictable shots always get me. How to Use Lovense Lush 2
Charging
Charge the device before use to avoid unwanted interruptions. To charge:
- Turn off the vibrator.
- Plug the cable into a power adapter or a USB port.
- Press the connector into the charging port. You know it’s charging when the light comes on.
- The LED light at the tip will stay lit and only go off when the battery is charged.
Note: Don’t use the toy while charging. If need be, use the app to track the battery life.
Standalone (No App)
Without the app, the button on the edge of the antenna serves as the sole control option. To use it:
- Press down and hold the button for 3-5 seconds to turn the vibrator on. The red indicator light will flash.
- Press the button to shift between 7 different modes (Low, Medium, High, Pulse, Wave, Fireworks, and Earthquake)
App Download And Pairing
To get things cranked up, you have to download the Lovense Remote mobile app. The app has a detailed step-by-step guide on how to make the most of your vibrator. I must admit the 4.3 ratings on the Google Play Store were reassuring. Most of the adult mobile apps I’ve used before have tons of negative reviews, which is always a red flag.
Pairing With The Mobile App
Pairing the mobile app with the Lush sex toy took me less than 5 minutes. Once you download the app, turn on your phone’s Bluetooth and the Lush by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button for about three to five seconds — a light should briefly flash to show it’s on. On the mobile app, click the button on the top right side. Then, tap ‘+’ to start searching. After the toy is connected, tap ‘Done,’ and everything is connected. After a successful pairing, the vibrator’s light should cease to blink and instead remain steady.
Note: You only need to do this process the first time. Once the pairing happens, the connection happens automatically.
Connect With Your Partner
For people in a long-distance relationship, connecting with your partner might be a little bit different from the close-range one. Nothing strange, though — browse over to your ‘Long Distance’ tab and add your partner’s email. Once your lover accepts your request, it’s go time. You can also adjust your preferences on the level of partner control using the settings button.
There’s also a chat function on the app that lets you build up to the long-distance sex experience. You can send photos, do live control, start a video chat, or send flirty messages back and forth as you tease your partner using your preferred vibration patterns.
Programming Options
After successfully pairing the app with the Lush 2, head over to ‘My Toys’ and tap on the ‘Lush 2.’ Click the ‘Program’ button to see all your programming options. Remote Control Play With A Partner
Once your partner accepts your request, you both enter a private chatroom from where you can schedule playtime or exchange feedback regardless of the distance. Tap ‘+’ to explore the long-distance play options. You can regulate how long your partner controls the vibe (from one second to an hour).
There are different vibration pattern modes available for long-distance control. Like the close-range play, you can either create customized patterns or use what other people have created.
How To Use It For Public Play?
One of the best features of the Lush 2 is its streamlined shape that lets the flexible tail sit comfortably against your pelvic bone. The shape makes it easy to wear under most clothing and enjoy the pristine remote play. When in public, mobile app control works best, of course.
I strongly recommend that you try out the vibrator at home before wearing it out in public. The ‘detour’ allows you to find the perfect positioning and angle that’s comfortable for you. We are all different, and what works for me might not necessarily work for you.

How to Clean Your Lovense Lush 2?
The vibrator is a reasonably small toy, and cleaning takes a few minutes of your day. Use warm water and the recommended sex toy cleaner. Soak a clean cloth in the warm water and toy cleaner mixture and wipe off any physical dirt. Finally, use clean, warm water to rinse it off. You can either leave it to air dry or use a clean towel to dry it thoroughly before storage.

Both are great Lovense products, but the design improvements in Lush 2 make it the better option. Firstly, the elongated ‘tail’ provides better Bluetooth connectivity and control range. Lush 2’s antenna is also more flexible, and the motor is more robust. Personally, I think Lovense did a great job with the upgrade.
Can Lush 2 Be Used for Anal Sex?
