Would I Be Singing Its Praises?
In my pre-sex-toy-reviewing days, I tried the We-Vibe Sync, another couples toy that is essentially an earlier version of the We-Vibe Chorus. It was a different shape, and the snugger, less-flexible fit was a bit uncomfortable for me during penetrative sex.
We-Vibe products are practically synonymous with quality, but for whatever reason, I couldn’t get it to work for me back then. But I loved the idea and was excited to try the next version of this product to see if I could finally get it to work, and if it would have me change my tune (pun, as always, intended).

Instruction Manual
As I went through the packaging, I was excited about all the new reading material I had to complete before writing my We-Vibe Chorus review. I started with the position playbook because it was the shortest and sounded more exciting than the quick start guide or safety instructions. This colorful insert has visuals to get your creative juices flowing for the many ways you can use the toy.
The first shows the couple in a missionary position, with the penis-haver gripping the remote control worn by the vulva-haver. The following were the next four sex positions they listed:
- The lovers cross, in which the penetrated party lies on their back, and the penetrator sits;
- The doggy redux, which to me was indistinguishable from regular doggy style;
- The kinky cradle looks like the standard cradle where the penetrator is sitting, and the penetrated party sits on top, facing their partner;
- And the knees up, where the penetrated person is on their back, and their partner kneels and kind of hovers over them, while their legs drape over their partner’s shoulders.
I was looking forward to my sex position homework!
Next, the quick start guide gives helpful, illustrated hints to get you started cleaning, enjoying, pairing, charging, and using the touch sense feature.
Lastly, the safety instructions had some funny things to say, as they typically do. Right off the bat, in paragraph two, the safety instructions say, “Children should not clean or perform maintenance on this product,” which is handy information for anyone planning to have their youngster fix their broken vibrator. Not a good idea!
It also has helpful information regarding the squeeze remote. It says not to disassemble, puncture, modify, drop, throw, or cause unnecessary shocks to the batteries. That’s a real shame, though, because the best part of masturbating is when I cause unnecessary shocks to the batteries. It’s how I climax. I’ve got a causing-unnecessary-shocks-to-the-batteries kink, and I will not be shamed by this user manual!
Material
The vibrator is made of high-quality silicone. It’s body-safe, waterproof, and perfectly silky smooth, so it gets the job done. The inside of both arms has a little bit of ripply texture, too, providing some extra stimulation to your sensitive spots.
Dimensions
This vibe is only 3.5” long, making it the perfect toy to throw in your suitcase for a romantic getaway. However, keep in mind that since there isn’t a bag but a charging case, this toy will take up a little more space if you bring it with you.
Design
This wearable vibe is C-shaped, so the external arm rests on your clitoris while the internal arm stays snugly against your G-spot. The internal arm is small enough for comfortable use during penetration.
The two arms have adjustable joints to be flexible enough to fit different bodies, but they are also firmly C-shaped so that the Chorus stays in place during sex.
Battery Life and Charging
The charging setup is slightly more complicated than most other sex toys I’ve used. You put the remote and the Chorus into the charging station, top it with the lid, and then plug the station in. However, the lid won’t quite secure if you don’t get the remote and Chorus positioned right. So, wiggle them a bit if the cover doesn’t fit like a glove.
Side Note: the battery charger is different from and may not be compatible with We-Vibe’s other products.
Controls
The controls are a bit tricky to use, so it’s a good idea to consult the user manual before using all the functionality.
If you’re using the toy on its own, you’ll find a raised button known as the control button. Push it, and the toy turns on. If you push it again, it cycles through all the vibration patterns.
Under the We-Vibe logo, a sensor recognizes your partner’s body contact during sex. It attempts to match the intensity and rhythm to create a seamless sexual experience whenever it senses motion.
They took a hint from Ludacris’ lyrics and made a vibrator that is the sex toy embodiment of “when I move, you move.” Fun!
To use the touch sense mode, you’ll need to use the We-Connect app and set the Chorus to touch sense mode. Further, there are three touch sense modes to play with, which can be a little tricky:
- The first mode will increase the intensity to maximum when the sensor registers body contact, then reduce it to minimum, and then back up to the highest setting.
- The second touch sense mode is a leisurely pattern of waves that increases to a maximum when the sensor is touched. It then stays at that intensity unless the sensor isn’t pressed for three seconds, in which case it returns to the original wave pattern.
- The third touch sense mode vibrates when it senses touch and stops when there is no touch. You can set the vibrations to your preferred intensity on the app.
How do you use the remote control?
When you use the remote, you’ll press the plus button to power up the device, and that button will also increase the intensity. You can use the minus button to decrease the intensity or, if held down, turn the toy off. The left and right arrow buttons will cycle you to the next vibration mode.
The We-Vibe button that sits just above the plus button will switch between the manual remote control and the squeeze control. The squeeze control increases the power level by squeezing the remote more tightly or reducing the intensity by relaxing your grip.
Pro Tip: The squeeze remote control is perfect for moments when you are in the grips of pleasure and don’t remember which button to push. Better yet, you can use the squeeze control with your favorite patterns or with constant buzzing; it’s up to you.
How do you use the We-Vibe Chorus App?
The We-Connect app is an easy-to-use, easy-to-pair setup that allows your partner to control your toy anywhere. It has tons of functionality, including selecting from preset modes, drawing a unique pattern with your finger, and saving your favorite creations. Before I started my testing, I read all the instructions, and I mean all. This toy has a lot going on, and you can even say it operates on its own.
- You can use Chorus during solo play or with a partner if they happen to be in the same room.
- The remote is perfect for hands-free play.
- Or, you can use the squeeze control so that buttons are no longer your problem.
- Lastly, you can pair it with the app to allow your partner to control it from miles away and create their own patterns.
You can safely say this toy has tons of functionality, but on the flip side, it’s not one you can rip out of the box and use right away. There’s a little bit of a learning curve. But here are the steps that I used:
- First, you’ll need to choose whether to use it for PIV sex (penis in vagina) or by yourself.
- After you wash it and charge it, the shorter arm slips inside and the clitoral arm rests against you externally while both arms vibrate.

My Personal Experience
Ease Of Use
After turning it on, cycling through the settings, pairing it with the remote, unpairing it, and then pairing it to the app, I was ready to try it in real life. The first time I tried Chorus, I used it in the simplest possible way: turning the power button on, lubing it up, and using it during intercourse.
Like all other couples toys, it takes a minute to position it correctly. You may have to maneuver it a bit to find a comfortable placement as everyone has a different shape.
Pro Tip: Don’t worry about how long it takes—try every angle until it slides into a natural place. If it’s uncomfortable, take extra time while you warm up to get into the mood before diving into penis-in-vagina sex.
Then, your partner needs to put some lube on, too. There’s no magic formula for how much you need so you’ll have to figure it out with a little trial and error. The first time I tried it with my partner, we used too much lube, so it became overly slippery and slid out.
The next time we tried it, we used much less lube. Using only what you need seems to be the best scenario since this toy only functions if you can get it to stay in place. The manufacturers designed it so the C-shape is relatively firm, and the inward pressure between the arms keeps it in place during intercourse, but too much lube can foil even the best-laid plans.
Stimulations
Next, we tried all the positions listed in the guide, which was fun. Doggy style was the most comfortable and the easiest to have this stay in place. However, if you’re changing positions, the toy will likely not stay in place and you’ll have to reposition it again.
The next time we tried it, my partner used the squeeze remote after going through the process to pair Chorus with the remote. We were somewhat surprised by how strongly you have to grip the remote control to get it to maximum intensity.
Depending on how much range you have in your grip strength, there may not be many levels between the highest and lowest vibe intensity settings when you use the squeeze remote. But we got a better speed range using the squeeze remote since there were more than three vibration intensity levels.
We both found this to be a fun, intuitive way to use the toy, and I preferred it because I didn’t have to search for the button with my fingers once the toy was in the perfect spot.
My partner also appreciated all the extra vibration sensations the Chorus provided. It was fun to use a toy that augmented our sensory experiences since my partner’s penis loves vibration.
App Control
Next, we tried the app, where my partner controlled the We-Vibe Chorus from his workspace while I was in the bedroom. The We-Connect app worked like a charm, and we didn’t have any issues with connectivity when we used the app control and had a stable connection throughout. Even the video-call function was crystal clear, and we were massively impressed.
Lastly, we tried the touch sense modes, which were fantastic. The touch sense function is fun to use even when you’re not having sex, as long as you’re up close to each other and grinding. However, you have to access these through the app, so changing them can be a pain if you decide to use grip control instead. I wish there were a button on the remote control that would allow access to the touch sense modes. The touch mode is fun, but sometimes you may want to switch back and forth.
Further, the We-Vibe Chorus vibes pack a wallop for such a small toy. This toy delivers rumbly vibrations and all the clit stimulation you want during PIV sex.
Sound Level
We-Vibe Chorus is powerful for being so small, which means it’s audible. I wouldn’t necessarily use this toy for discreet public play unless you’re headed somewhere noisy, like a concert. And make sure you wear your most fitted underwear paired with tight leggings so it doesn’t slip out of place.

The quick start guide recommends rinsing the We-Vibe Chorus with warm water and sex toy cleaner, then drying it with a lint-free cloth or towel. Since it’s waterproof, you can use warm water and soap just as easily.
Waterproof toys are typically pretty easy to clean. However, this toy has several ripples on each arm, meaning you’ll want a toothbrush for detailed cleaning. I’m not sure the additional stimulation is worth the extra cleaning work, but you may feel differently.
