In one of my recent reviews, I realized I loved We-Vibe’s lipstick vibrator, the We-Vibe Tango X, so I was excited to give the device a try even before starting my We-Vibe Touch X review.

This vibrator is made from soft silicone, so it is velvety and touchable. It comes in two colors: crave coral and green velvet. I chose green because I feel like so many sex toys fall into the coral spectrum—and green is a refreshing change.

Dimensions
This device is just a few inches long. It’s bigger than a lipstick vibrator and too big to hide in the palm of your hand. But it’s the perfect size to fit in a small purse. However, the small size also means some deep buzz will transfer to your fingers and palm, potentially making them numb.
Body
The body is curvy, and the underside is somewhat tongue-like, like a scoop shape. The top part is slightly squishy—not enough to deaden the vibrations but the perfect amount to be extra comfortable.
In addition, the shape of the tip is pointed on one end and broad on the other, which should appeal to just about everyone. Its shape is also thin enough to hold it against your clit while having penetrative sex.
How to Charge We-Vibe Touch X?
The toy comes with a magnetic charging USB port, which is the easiest and most accessible. It took me just under two hours to charge, and it lasted for two hours and thirty-four minutes on the lowest setting once fully charged.

How To Clean We-Vibe Touch X?
Though it’s waterproof and made from silicone, this toy will still be tricky to clean because of the seams around the magnetic charging port, the raised buttons, and the We-Vibe logo. Use a toothbrush paired with warm water and soap.
How To Use We-Vibe Touch X?
- Once you charge your Touch X, wash it thoroughly, and read the safety instructions.
- Then grab some water-based lube, and turn the toy on
- The plus button turns the sex toy on and increases the intensity through eight levels.
- The s-shaped button cycles you through the seven vibration patterns.
- And the minus button will decrease the intensity levels or, if held down, turn the toy off.
- Hold both the plus and minus buttons for two seconds to activate or deactivate the travel lock. It will pulse twice if it’s on or the travel lock is deactivated.

My Personal Experience
Ease Of Use
When I started researching my review, I wanted to try out every function to see how it compared with my other devices. There are multiple ways to use this vibrator, after all. For one, it functions as a lay-on vibrator, meaning you can pick a setting, set it down, get into position, and wait for the orgasms to descend. Sometimes, lazy masturbating is the best kind of masturbating.
Before I received the Touch, I watched the marketing materials, which described it as a magic multitasker, but not in the way you might think. One video says it can exfoliate your skin, which was alarming because my clit is not something I want to be exfoliated. But when I tried it, I was relieved to find it wasn’t rough.
Stimulations
I tried the different vibration patterns, which I didn’t love. However, that’s a me problem, not a We-Vibe problem. Different patterns tend to feel like I’ve held my alarm clock against my clit—more agitating than anything else—and this was no different.
You know how some people consider themselves highly sensitive people? I think my clit is like that. Maybe it’s an empath. I need vibrational power to like a toy, but I don’t typically need as much as most folks do.
However, I was pleasantly surprised by how intense the vibrations were, thanks to the motor. I was happy on the low end of the power spectrum, and there were at least five settings above where I maxed out, so this amount of power would do well for people who are less sensitive than me.
An extensive range of intensities is essential to make a vibrator that works for a sizeable cross-section of the population, and the Touch X succeeds on this front. Hence, it’s an ideal vibrator if you use it on a few partners with different clit sensitivities and power needs.
Design
I loved the unique shape as well. The tapered tip is the perfect shape for anyone who gets the most pleasure from stimulation in a specific spot. But you can also flip the vibe over and use the back because its shape is broader and will give all-over sensations to those who don’t have a specific point they need to have stimulated for peak pleasure.
Versatility
You could also use this for foreplay or body massage by tracing the tip across your partner’s erogenous zones, trying out different intensity levels, and finding new ways to give each other orgasms. In addition, its small size makes it suitable for couple play during penetrative sex.
Minor issues I found during testing
I do have a qualm: the button placement. Most devices have buttons around the base of the toy so that when you flip it to use it on your clit, your hand is near the controls now at the top. These buttons are kind of in the middle, making them harder to reach. Plus, unless you remove the toy when you adjust the settings, you end up digging the tip into your clit with each button push since they are near the vibrating point.
However, I still found this device fun, and it was easy to reach multiple orgasms, thanks mainly to the well-shaped point and flexible body.

How It Stacks Up Against Other We-Vibe Toys
Original We-Vibe Touch (We-Vibe Touch vs. Touch X)
The original Touch is missing several upgrades offered in the Touch X. For one, the previous version doesn’t have a magnetic charging cable. The first version also has a less powerful motor and only a one-hour battery life.
The We-Vibe Touch has one single button, meaning you have to cycle through everything before finding your favorite setting, but the Touch X has three buttons which makes controlling it a bit simpler.
Though they technically cost the same ($99), you can often find the OG Touch for $79, saving you some money.
We-Vibe Tango
The We-Vibe Tango is a lipstick vibrator. It’s waterproof, and the body is made of ABS plastic instead of silicone. You can often find it on sale for $59.
It has an old-school charger (not magnetic), and the whole thing is hard plastic, so the vibrations may travel to your fingertips and numb them in a hurry.
Plus, it, too, has one single button that controls it. However, it’s great for travel and more potent than it looks, plus it’s almost half the price of the Touch X.
We-Vibe Tango X
In one of my recent reviews, I got to try out the Tango X, We-Vibe’s lipstick vibrator. The new Tango X upgrades from the Tango mimic the Touch X’s upgrades from the Touch. They both have better chargers, for one. The Tango X has a three-button control setup, whereas the Tango only has one.
The Tango X also has a silicone handle, preventing some hand-numbing. Plus, it’s a little more intense than the Tango but not yet as powerful as the Touch.
However, other reviews disagree since the vibrations transfer marginally better through plastic, whereas the soft, squishy silicone has a slight deadening effect. I still found the overall vibrations stronger in the Touch X. You can pick one up for $79.

Dame Pom
The Dame Pom is one of the best out there. The Pom’s silicone is slightly softer than the Touch X’s silicone, but both feel lovely on your hands and clit.
They are roughly the same in terms of power (though the Touch X feels slightly rumblier). Yet on the lowest settings, the Pom lasted quite a bit longer than the Touch X.
Both are designed in a way that could appeal to pinpoint and broad stimulation lovers, too. The Pom is $95, so you’ll spend a similar amount of money no matter which you purchase.
Hot Octopuss Kurve
Another luxury vibrator known for making vulvas happy is the Hot Octopuss Kurve. However, the Kurve is also great for internal stimulation and G-spot exploration, so it wins in terms of versatility. The Kurve is longer, too, meaning it will work better for those who have issues comfortably reaching sex toys into their proper spot.
The Kurve has the option for bass (rumbly vibrations) and treble (buzzy vibes). I found the Kurve was so soft that some vibes were muted by the squishy silicone material, so it’s best for people who don’t need a ton of power.
