Why we love We-Vibe Sync Lite:

If you’re in the market for an affordable We-Vibe sex toy, you should add Sync Lite to your shopping cart ASAP. It cost only $89 ($71.20 on sale), which overall gave us the most value for our hard-earned cash. Don’t get me wrong, there are tons of cheaper We-Vibe toys, but none comes close to Lite’s excellent balance of price tag and quality.

Let’s start with the result of our design testing. Our tester Rachel Sommer summed up her design experience like this: “I loved the slender edge (seen in the image above) because it made it easy to slide it into the vagina. Not as good as Sync O above but it should be enough for most people. In addition, the vast outer arm towers over the clitoris for broad external stimulation. People who find standard clit stimulators limiting will love the precision and satisfaction of a broad external arm. Like other toys in the We-Vibe lineup, the Sync Lite’s body is also flexible. What about the power? Well, the motor was impressive. It certainly isn’t the most powerful I have experienced, but rumbly enough for the price and size. If you’re a more experienced user looking for intense sensations, you might have to pair the vibrator with a dildo or look for another product. However, if you’re a regular user, you’ll enjoy every bit of the intensity levels.

Last, let’s finish with the sound level. I was amazed at how discreet Sync Lite was, even at the highest settings. The decibels ranged between 33 and 43 when I tested it last, which was one of the lowest  on this list. I wore it in public once with two layers of clothing, and the noise level was extremely low.

Minor issues we found during testing:

I don’t know about you, but sex is double the fun in water. Unfortunately, Sync Lite is only splashproof and can only withstand light water splashes. A waterproof design would’ve been a game-changer for the budget We-Vibe vibrator.

Let’s start with the size and design. “The compact size (I compare it next to a stapler in the above image) makes it perfect for partnered penetrative sex. It tucks in between bodies without causing discomfort to either partner, laying the foundation for extended and satisfying sensations”, our tester Shane Davis wrote in his test report.

The 2^nd generation vibrator has more grip from the serrated texture than the original version. This upgrade ensures it stays in place during sex better than the original We-Vibe Sync. Let’s move on to the material category, where it performed very well. The minimal seams look neat, and the well-thought-out dimensions make it cozy for extended sessions. Note: The magnetic clip helps Moxie+ stay in place. I’ve worn the Moxie+ multiple times, and remaining intact is the least of my worries.

The 2^nd generation has a redesigned shape geared towards enhancing its effectiveness and comfort. We’ve reviewed over a hundred sex toys, and mostly, the upgrade is not worth the money for people who already have the original vibrator. However, Rave 2 seems to have changed my mind with the new and improved design. For example, a nifty hinge in the middle (image above) lets you adjust the penetration angles for optimum internal stimulation. In addition, the update included a new and renewable toy so people who love aquatic fun but couldn’t explore it with the original We-Vibe Rave can enjoy the action. Overall a solid upgrade that made a great product even better!

Let’s jump straight to the review’s highlight: We-Vibe Rave 2’s innovative rotating design is a head-turner. The impressive feature seeks to move away from the conventional thrusting action. I don’t have the most sensitive vaginal lining, but reviewers who do describe it as a breath of fresh air. “The rotations are more gentle yet impactful, the combination every person with sensitive skin yearns for,” our tester Rachel Sommer said.

We were a bit skeptical of how effective Rave 2 would be without the thrusting action. Surprisingly, the toy remained in contact with the G-spot throughout the test session. The asymmetrical shape made twisting it much more straightforward and practical than repeatedly yanking it back and forth.

“I’m a lazy masturbator, and anything that makes it easier for me is a win”, one of our testers wrote in the report “I came into the experience unsure of what I’d write in my review, but I loved the twisting motion more than I expected. The unique design with two motors for the G-spot and anal opening made the experience exciting. In addition, the light vibrations and deeper thumps made for satisfying yet unique sensations.”, she continued.

There is a minor flaw though: The body felt sturdy, and a more bendable shape would’ve been a game changer. I can only imagine the bliss if one end would’ve touched the clitoris.

Like other vibrators, We-Vibe Rave 2 is compatible with the We-Connect app. While the app might not be as feature-loaded as the Lovense Remote, it will be a great choice for most customers. The application adds a lot of versatility, including a music-controlled feature that regulates the vibrations to a pre-selected playlist. Note: The noise level ranged between 34 – 45 dB the last time I tested mine—certainly not the loudest nor the quietest.

Minor issues we found during testing:

If you need clit stimulation to climax, Rave 2 might not be your cup of tea. The bendable design doesn’t get to the clitoris as well as most people will want and can have either internal or external sensations, not both.

While I loved the twisting motion, I found it tricky to use initially (it got much better over time), and most reviewers shared the same sentiment, with most describing it as “not intuitive the first time.”
