How We Picked the Products

I preselected many Womanizer toys for this article before assembling my review panel from the team of sex experts and researchers from My Sex Toy Guide. As always, I defined test criteria we could measure on a scale from 0 to 100. These included:

• Design. While Womanizer vibrators have a similar design, the models have a few differences. As you’d expect, the ideal design will depend on what you intend to do with the toy. I recommended that the testing team has a purpose-driven approach to the reviews to ensure we recommend the right model for our readers – G-spot stimulation or clitoral massage. Why we love Womanizer Next:

Over the years, we’ve reviewed many Womanizer vibrators, each with a uniqueness that sets it apart. Premium 2 (Review here) has been our favorite for the last two years but the thuddy sensations can often be overstimulating for beginners. But a new release has changed all that: the new Womanizer Next has a unique blend of light and mellow whiffs that feel like actual oral sex. After our review, it quickly became our test team’s new favorite.

Besides the realistic oral sex suction, the testers loved the noiseless motor. Initially, we were skeptical of the statement on the packaging, but it didn’t take long before the model proved the doubters in the team wrong. Why we love Pro40:

Overall, it gave us the best value for our money with an excellent balance between price tag and quality.

The luxurious yet unassuming design blew their mind when they unboxed the device. Besides the high-quality material, they instantly fell in love with the slightly curved body – “I thought it was intelligent and purpose-driven design,” our tester Sandra Larson told me.

The angled design is not a coincidence as it makes OG perfect for G-spot stimulation. Overall, everyone found it easy to guide the vibe through their vaginas and hit the sweet spots after a few twists and angle shifts. With a flexible mid-section, bending the OG to target the G-spot better was easy. Just wow!

Like other Womanizer vibrators, it also doubles as a clit stimulator. We appreciated the classic mouth at the tip that cups the G-spot (you can see a closeup in the image above) for precise stimulation. The OG also uses Pleasure Air technology to inspire a unique suction experience.

So, how strong was it? Well, the new OG vibrator has quite the powerful motor with many combinations, but some testers highlighted a few things: “I thought 12 intensity settings and 3 vibration levels were impressive, but not quite as powerful as some of my other vibrating G-spot vibes, especially the rumbly models”, our tester Rachel Sommer reported. “However, it induces a totally novel sensation, so I believe it’s a great fit for those seeking a different type of G-spot stimulation,” Rachel continued.

Minor issues we found during testing:

My main concern was that it’s pretty intense, even in lower settings, which may be an issue for people with sensitive vulvas. A better option for them could be Premium 2.

Another minor flaw was that the Smart Silence technology sometimes stops working when the head comes into contact with liquid, which may be an issue for shower play and heavy lube users. Also, People with carpal tunnel syndrome or tendonitis may have problems with the buttons as they are a little tricky to push.

Why Womanizer OG is most effective for G-spot stimulation:

• Design: OG’s luxurious and flexible design got the most points among the reviewed G-spot models (average rating: 94%). Thanks to the bendable mid-section and curved design, my colleagues were astounded by how easy it was to target the upper vaginal wall. • Settings: The settings also received a lot of praise. With 12 intensity and 3 vibration levels, you can fully customize your experience according to your mood. Let’s move on to the design next: The clitoral suction head is made from body-safe silicone material that feels great on the clit, even when used for extended periods. In addition, it uses Pleasure Air technology to emit pleasurable waves of air in and around the clitoris for a gentle yet effective orgasmic feeling. With an extra silicone head in the package (image above), the Duo 2 is perfect for different people, regardless of body shape or size. Bravo Womanizer!

The clitoral suction waves felt incredible. They’re unlike anything I’ve ever experienced with traditional clitoral vibrators and feel like little taps on the clitoris rather than oral, but it’s still pleasurable. Sometimes, it can almost be TOO intense, so I prefer using my suction toys in the bathtub.

Finally, it was thoughtful that the company included two suction heads to accommodate different-sized clitoris. Plus, the different head sizes can also adjust your stimulations. For example, if you’re in the mood for pinpoint stimulation, use the narrower head, while the broader head has a wider stimulation feel.

Minor issues we found during testing:

Unfortunately, Duo 2 is a bit tricky to use. It’s like learning to play the saxophone with its six buttons. I wish it had a remote or a smartphone application so you don’t have to fiddle around to change the settings while inserted.

In addition, the Smart Silence was a bit problematic. The toy shuts off after an hour, probably to save battery. But it had plenty of battery life when I turned it back on. So please remember this minor flaw in case you’re using it for longer edging sessions and don’t want to use Smart Silence.

Lastly, I sometimes couldn’t enable the Smart Silence feature because the device sensed the suction head and thought I held it against my body. Overall, I believe the company must fine-tune the Smart Silence function in the next release.

Why Womanizer Duo 2 is best for dual stimulation:

We gave Duo 2 the highest score for achieving blended orgasms because of the excellent Pleasure Air Technology. Plus, if you have a clitoral climax, the outstanding Afterglow function reduces the suction intensity level without stopping altogether, perfect for vulva owners with a sensitive clit. Let’s see what else the test reports said:

Why we love Premium Eco:

Premium Eco is the perfect choice for environmentally-conscious sex toy users because it’s made from bio-degradable biolene, making it 100% vegan-friendly. While some might be wary of the $139 price tag, the environmentally friendly aspects are worth it for many people.

We first thought the material would be rigid and easy to damage. But since it has a silicone head, your clitoris doesn’t get the brunt of the hardness. The material received a high score since it’s recyclable, despite being harder than other vibrators we have tested.

Besides the material being environmentally friendly, it can be disassembled for recycling which we very much appreciate. Other manufacturers take notes! But wait there’s more! It’s also powered by a USB-rechargeable battery, adding more points to the sustainability aspect. You can see the battery compartment in the image above.

Another feature that received high ratings was the impressive range of intensity levels. It has 12 clitoral suction levels, making it perfect for beginners and experienced users. Also, the package included two differently-sized silicone heads (image below) to ensure everyone enjoys the ‘green orgasms.’

Like other Womanizer sex toys, the Premium Eco variant is built on the Pleasure Air technology framework. The unique stimulation mechanism stimulates the clitoris using air pressure. Most importantly, the contactless sensations are discreet yet intense and ideal for people with an extra sensitive clitoris.

Premium Eco also has a Smart Silence mode that only initiates the suction waves when the toy comes into contact with your skin. This feature adds to the discretion aspect while helping to save battery life.

Minor issues we found during testing:

One tester pointed out that it’s only sold in pastel pink, meaning some people may feel left out. We hope that more colors will be available so the product is more inclusive. The device also doesn’t fit perfectly together because of the batter compartment, creating a wide seam you need to be aware of when cleaning.

Further, some experienced users may feel the settings are limited. Eco has only two buttons which are fewer than comparable products. So if you prefer many settings and patterns, you may have to look elsewhere.

Finally, the company shortened the charging cord to save material, making it a bit challenging to use. The charging port was also not strongly magnetized (circled in the image above), so not all charging positions will work. But it’s better for planet Earth, so I was OK with this “flaw.”

Why the Premium Eco is the most environmentally friendly:

If you are environmentally conscious, Premium Eco is your preferred option. Besides the biodegradable material, the reviewers were pleased with the easy-to-dissemble design for complete recycling. In addition, it’s USB-rechargeable, adding to the long-term energy sustainability rating.

It’s missing some of the premium features of the other models but is an excellent choice for those who care about the environment and climate change. Two thumbs up from Mother Earth! In addition, it performed well in the following test criteria:

• Packaging: The company has gone to great lengths to ensure even the packaging is earth-friendly while maintaining that classic Womanizer look. Even the paper manual is shorter, and they give you a QR code to find the rest online. Bravo!
• Stimulations: Can you develop an eco-friendly vibe with enough power to make you climax? Yes, you can! The stimulations are comparable to other Womanizer products, with a sufficient spectrum for most users.

Another small issue was that the smaller size makes it more challenging to hold, especially when your hands are lubed up. The plastic material makes it more slippery. People with limited grip strength should take particular note of this concern.

Another concern was the limited intensity levels compared to the premium models. For instance, while other models have 12 settings, Liberty only has 6.

Why the Liberty is the most travel-friendly:

When we started reviewing toys for our travel-friendly category, we highlighted important motivations like size, power source, and extra protective features to keep the toy hygienic. Let’s check the test report to see how it performed:

• Design: It has an attractive design. Though it’s made of plastic, it doesn’t feel flimsy or cheap. However, the strange choice of button placement took some points away from the overall rating (average score: 75%), putting it in the middle of the pack.
