How We Picked the Products

There are thousands of G-spot vibrators on the market today; Walmart alone lists over 800. As devoted as we are to sex toy research and testing, it wasn’t humanly possible to put each and every one to the test.

Our staff suggested their personal favorites and ones that they wanted to try, and our researchers scoured retail and review sites for the highest-rated G-spot vibrators to add to the list.

We also defined several test criteria:

• Design: Since the main purpose of a G-spot vibrator is to stimulate the G-spot, we prioritized models that were designed to do that well. Top points went to gently curved shafts, flexible bodies, and rounded heads. We also appreciated vibrators that felt good in the hand and were easy to operate.

Why I Love The VeDO Desire:

The main thing that differentiates a dedicated G-spot vibrator from a regular vibrator is its shape. Since the G-spot rests against the vaginal wall, a simple tube-shaped toy won’t always be able to stimulate it, at least not easily.

Hence the curved design of the VeDO Desire. It’s easy to hold in the hand, while effortlessly being able to press up against the G-spot. The design is sleek and functional, and looks fantastic at the same time.

While I do love toys with outrageous designs (more on that later), I also love the simple design of the Desire, and I am willing to bet it will appeal to more people than some of the more outlandish models on this list.

The shape isn’t the only thing I loved about the Desire. When it comes to sensitive erogenous zones, being able to control every aspect of a sex toy is a very desirable feature to have. And the Desire makes it easy. It has 10 vibration patterns and 6 intensity levels, meaning you have 60 options to choose from. If you’re like me and want to get your vibes just right, then this will be a great toy for you!

With that level of customization, it can sometimes be difficult to maneuver the button system and get it to the exact vibe you want. Not to worry, that’s another area where the VeDO Desire comes through. The button system is intuitive, with a button in the center to control the vibration patterns, and buttons on the top and bottom to control the intensity levels (You can see the buttons below).

I might be biased, but it’s my favorite type of button system, and makes it easy to experiment and find just what works for you. This simple, intuitive system is definitely one of the elements of this toy that bumped it up to the #1 spot.

All this would be great in a vibrator of any price, but one really incredible thing about the Desire is that it’s under $50. So, if you want to experiment with finding and pleasuring your G-spot, this is definitely one to try!

A Good Alternative: Dame Arc

If you want to splurge on a G-spot vibrator, the Dame Arc is another great choice. It also offers the ability to change both the pattern and the intensity, with 5 patterns and 5 intensity levels. Plus, the curved head makes it great for external stimulation as well (the curved shape of the VeDO Desire doesn’t really allow for external stimulation, at least not if you want to hold the toy comfortably).

As with the VeDO Desire, the Dame Arc also has a very sleek, functional feel, and will appeal if you don’t like toys that look like realistic sex organs. Customizable and versatile, the Dame Arc is an excellent option.

Minor issues I found during testing:

I had a bit of difficulty turning it on. Sometimes I only had to long hold the power button, sometimes I had to long hold the power button, then press it again. However, I’m willing to bet this was entirely human error, since I’m constantly turning off (and on) travel lock features by accident.

Why I Love The Lovehoney Slimline:

“Budget” is an understatement when it comes to the Lovehoney Slimline, since it’s actually a free gift with purchase on Lovehoney’s website! Oftentimes, those types of free gifts are not exactly…stimulating, in any sense of the word, but the Slimline really impressed me!

The main thing I liked about the Slimline was its shape. No, not the fact that it was slim, but because of how bulbous the head is. Really, it’s only the handle that’s slim, so Slimline is a bit of a misleading name.

The shape of the head made it easy to rest up against my G-spot, especially since it’s tilted at a bit of an angle. If you don’t know exactly where your G-spot is, and don’t want to spend a long time finding it with a finicky toy with a tiny, tapered tip, then the head of the Slimline will be a great option for you.

If you’ve ever wanted to try an egg toy, but are paranoid about losing it inside yourself (I can’t be the only one who worries about that, can I?), the Lovehoney Slimline offers the best of both worlds—an egg shape that hits just right, but paired with a handle that feels like a “normal” sex toy.

It’s also much easier to maneuver once it’s inside you than a normal egg, so it could also definitely work for anyone who’s already a fan of the way they are shaped, but wants more control over where to position it.

4. Nu Sensuelle Baelii: Best For Precision!

Why I Love The Nu Sensuelle Baelii:

So far, the vibrators I’ve talked about on this list have one thing in common (besides being awesome): bulbous heads. While this shape can be great if you’re new at the G-spot game and don’t quite know exactly where to place a toy, it doesn’t offer a lot in the way of precision.

Enter the Nu Sensuelle Baelii. With an absolutely tiny tapered tip, this toy can be used to pinpoint the exact internal spot that you want. Another thing I like about the design is that the shape gets more bulbous and flares out toward the bottom, meaning that it still feels satisfying when you insert it.

I feel as though when toys are ultra-slim throughout, they can sometimes feel a bit…medical rather than sexy. So, I was impressed that the Baelii still managed to feel like a satisfying sex toy while allowing for pinpoint precision.

Don’t be fooled by its delicate shape—Baelii is powerful! If you’re looking for a G-spot vibe that will just get you to the finish line without a slow build-up, I would absolutely recommend this one.

However, for this reason, I would not recommend it to a beginner, despite its beginner-friendly shape. Its power and simplicity will also make it the perfect choice if you don’t like toys with a lot of fuss or outrageous designs.

Baelii also has 20 different vibration patterns. With that many patterns to choose from, you’re sure to find the right one for you. As long as you like your vibrations strong! With so many vibration options, it would have been nice if a few of them had been a little gentler, but I’m sure that those of you who love powerful toys will have a great time exploring all the vibration modes this toy has to offer.

Minor issues I found during testing:

• My main issue with Baelii was just how intense it was. With 20 different patterns, surely not all of them had to be so powerful!
• Another minor issue I had was with the buttons. Instead of just one button to cycle through all the patterns, it had two—one to go forward, and one to go back. That’s a great design, and I prefer it to just having one button, but the buttons themselves were labeled with…a lightning bolt and a wave. For such a simple, basic toy, I’m not sure why they didn’t just go with a +/- design.

5. LELO Gigi 3: Most Beginner-Friendly!

Why I Love The LELO Gigi 3:

Unlike the Baelii, the LELO GIGI 3 is a very gentle toy, making it a great choice for beginners. It can also be great for partner play or if you’re experimenting with edging. Or maybe it’ll bring you to a screaming climax if you’re super sensitive!

Again, every body is different, and a weak toy doesn’t necessarily mean a weak orgasm.

Another thing that makes it great for beginners is how customizable it is. A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that beginner toys should be simple, but I disagree. I think it’s the beginners who need the most customizable options in order to figure out exactly what they’re most comfortable with. And the GIGI 3 is app-compatible, with different modes to try out and experiment with.

However, if an app isn’t to your taste, you can simply use the buttons on the toy itself. It has 8 vibration modes and 12 intensities to choose from. Again, none of the vibration modes got super intense, so you can still enjoy the full range of patterns and power levels, even if you’re a beginner.

Unlike the rounded shape of most other toys on this list, the GIGI 3 has a flatter head, with a subtle ridge around it. It’s big enough to cover the G-spot, while not being so big that it’s uncomfortable to insert. It also doesn’t look particularly phallic, which I appreciate. Sex toys are sex toys, they’re not penis substitutes.

While none of the toys on this list look like realistic penises, I think this is a particularly important design choice in a beginner’s toy. While some people certainly might want a realistic toy, when it comes to a first toy, I think most of us want something a bit more gentle and designed specifically for our pleasure.

The overall design is also gorgeous, with a separate while handle. Again, many people try to sell the most basic, bland toys as being “for beginners”, but how is someone supposed to get excited about entering (pun intended) the world of sex toys if they’re using something that’s not aesthetically pleasing? Maybe I’m just really shallow, but I enjoy using something a lot more if it looks good!

Minor issues I found during testing:

• While the gentle stimulations are perfect for a beginner or someone very sensitive, they won’t be to everyone’s taste.
• Also, the app compatibility is a cool feature, but using the buttons on the toy itself is ultimately easier.

6. Temptasia Rattle Snake: Most Outrageous Design!

Why I Love The Rattle Snake:

The Temptasia Rattle Snake by Blush is…well, it’s a dual-ended vibrator sculpted to look like a snake with a glowing orb in its mouth. Based on that description, you’re probably either skipping this section entirely or have already followed the link and are adding it to your cart. It’s a niche design, to say the least!

It looks great, as far as I’m concerned, and definitely adds a fun, fantasy element to your self-pleasure (or partner play) session. But aesthetics aren’t enough to make our “Best Of” list, so let’s take a look at how this G-spot vibrator actually works.

This is a dual-ended toy, meant to stimulate both the clit (with the snake’s glowing orb) as well as the G-spot (the rattling tail, of course), but since this is a review of G-spot toys in particular, that’s the aspect I’ll be focusing on the most.

The main thing I noticed was how the snake design actually helped the Rattle Snake feel amazing. The tip of the snake’s tail is modeled after a rattlesnake, and the bumpy texture of the “rattles” being inserted felt really incredible. Once the rattle portion of the tail is inserted, you move on to the sculpted scales, which add more exciting textures. I even waited a few seconds to turn it on, just to appreciate how good it felt inside me.

The Rattle Snake has a curved shape and a rigid body, which not only allows for precision while targeting the G-spot, but also allows you to hold it comfortably while doing so. It’s clear that the snake design wasn’t just an afterthought intended to make it stand out—all those details of the snake design are intentional and make the vibrator so much fun to use. All the little details just add to the experience of using it.

The Rattle Snake has 10 vibration modes (3 speeds, 7 patterns). The vibes can get intense, but never bordered on painful. It would have been very disappointing if it had been super weak! I could imagine the temptation to make a toy like this extremely strong, based on the assumption that anyone buying it has plenty of experience with sex toys, but I’m glad they didn’t. After all, you can still be on the sensitive side and still want to engage in relations with a snake.

Minor issues I found during testing:

The G-spot half of the vibe was where it really stood out, and this is a “Best G-spot Vibrators” list after all. However, it is worth mentioning that the external vibe, the glowing plasma ball in the snake’s mouth, was not particularly satisfying, and in general I’m not a fan of rounded external vibes. Also, the bumps and ridges on the snake feel cool, but make it hard to find the buttons on the top of its head.

7. Zalo Courage: Best Heating Function!

Why I Love The Zalo Courage:

If you want a G-spot vibrator with a bit of a fantastical feel to it, but the Rattle Snake is a bit much, the Zalo Courage might be your better option. Instead of a menacing snake, this toy looks like a fairy princess wand. It can be used for role-play purposes or just be an extra-feminine addition to your self-care routine.

The stand-out thing about Zalo Courage is the added warming function, warming up to 107° F. Better yet, it’s pre-heating, which means that you can warm it up before inserting it. A lot of heating toys can only be warmed up when they’re already inside you, which to me defeats the purpose, since I like feeling the warmth while I insert it. If a toy is only warm once it’s already inside me, I usually barely feel it.

The Zalo has a bulbous head while having a somewhat more realistic shape to it than something like the Lovehoney Slimline. But don’t worry about it being too realistic—the handle looks like a magic wand and it comes in pastel purple.

If you’re like me and find it easier to stimulate your G-spot with a bigger head, this G-spot vibrator is a better option than something much slimmer. It’s also not too big, so while it might not be as beginner-friendly as the LELO GIGI 3, it’s not beginner…unfriendly.

The controls are another thing that makes it a good choice for a beginner. As with the LELO GIGI 3, you can go forward and backward while experimenting with the different vibration modes, and don’t have to cycle through all of them (some of them might be a little intense) to get back to your preferred vibe.

Though unlike the GIGI, it doesn’t have the ability to control the intensity separately from the pattern. Hence GIGI’s designation as the best for beginners.

Minor issues I found during testing:

Unlike with the Rattle Snake, the design choices on Zalo Courage make it more difficult to use in some ways. The push/pull control design, as opposed to a normal button system, looks amazing, but in practice, it takes some getting used to. Unless this becomes the toy you use all the time (and it definitely could), you’re going to have to re-learn the control system every time you use it. It doesn’t help that there’s a misprint in the manual.

Other Good Alternatives

If you want some unique sensations, the Womanizer OG is worth checking out. It stimulates the G-spot with Pleasure Air technology instead of vibrations, which sends puffs of air. Since the head of the OG requires precision to really stimulate the G-spot, I would definitely only recommend this to someone who is already intimately familiar with their G-spot, and not someone wanting to try and find it for the first time.

If you like the idea of the dual-ended vibrator, but the Temptasia Rattle Snake design was not to your liking, the Cassia by The Natural Love Company might be your best bet. Best of all, it’s made of recycled ocean plastics, meaning it’s much more environmentally friendly than the average vibrator, while feeling every bit as luxurious, if not more so.

One thing you’ll notice about most of the G-spot vibrators on this list is that they, well, vibrate. But this toy is a little different. The Lovense Flexer uses a fingering motion, a motion many people find more pleasurable, to stimulate the G-spot.

And One To Avoid

After really enjoying their Petite Egg vibrator, we were looking forward to trying another Nu Sensuelle toy: the Nubii Chloe. However, this one did not live up to our expectations. While it does have a great, beginner friendly design, the functions were a little too basic, to the point where they very much detracted from my overall enjoyment of the product. The most obvious example: vibrations and heating functions are both activated when the toy is turned on, meaning there’s no way to warm it up before using it.

What Is The G-Spot?

The G-spot’s full name is the Gräfenberg spot after Dr. Ernst Gräfenberg, who wrote in 1950 that “an erotic zone always could be demonstrated on the anterior wall of the vagina along the course of the urethra.”

Safety issues aside, of course, there’s no wrong way to use your vibrator as long as you’re enjoying yourself! But if you are new to G-spot vibrators, we’ll walk through how most people like to play with them.

1. Anything that you’re going to use internally needs to be squeaky clean, so give it a good wash even if it’s straight out of the box. Waterproof vibrators can be washed with gentle fragrance-free soap and plenty of warm water, patted dry with a towel, and then air-dried.
2. Apply lube to your toy and to your body. Water-based lube is the gold standard because it is body-safe and compatible with sex toys (it is also safe to use with latex condoms if those are part of your partnered sex). It can dry out quickly, so be prepared to reapply as needed. Oil-based lube or body-safe food-grade oils are thicker and can be used with most sex toys, but cannot be used with latex condoms. Silicone lube is nicely slippery but incompatible with silicone sex toys, and the best G-spot vibrators are made of silicone.
3. Rub the rounded tip of the G-spot vibrator on your clitoris and the entrance to your vagina. This gets you “warmed up” and also lets your body get used to the feel of the vibrator.
4. Insert the shaft of the vibrator into your vagina and position it so that the rounded tip is lightly pressing against your G-spot. Turn the vibrator on to the lowest, slowest setting and let your body get accustomed to the vibrations. When you’re ready, start playing with the settings until you find your sweet spot and enjoy the ride!
