How To Use We-Vibe Vector?
Using the We-Vibe Vector is easy. Lube the toy and yourself. If you aren’t used to playing with prostate toys, insert a finger or two to warm yourself up. Then, insert the toy. My (Partner’s) Experience
Introduction
My partner was excited to try the We-Vibe prostate massager for two reasons. For one, We-Vibe is an excellent sex toy brand, and we’ve been impressed by their sex toys time and time again. For two, it’s not a huge toy, and he tends to have an easier and more enjoyable time with toys that are easy to insert. If you’ve used a lot of prostate massagers, then you already know some toys take more foreplay than others to be truly comfortable.
The We-Vibe Vector was extremely comfortable once inserted correctly, and he was able to move around. He didn’t think he’d be comfortable wearing it out of the house, but it stayed perfectly in place during intercourse. And since the vibrations were slightly lower than some of the other prostate dildos and massagers we’ve tried, he thought that Vector is best suited as an accompaniment to other sexual activities. It’s perfect if you’re looking for something to add sensation during sex or masturbation, but on its own, it may not do the trick if you need more intense stimulation.
We also tried using the app for long-distance fun (or, in our case, opposite-sides-of-the-house fun). The app worked well for us, though the response time had a noticeable lag. But it was fun for him to give up control of it and let me play around with the settings instead, and if we had to be apart for a considerable length of time, he would pack this toy in his suitcase.
Packaging
We-Vibe’s packaging is reliably giftable. It’s sturdy and looks nice, but it isn’t so over the top that the unboxing is the main event. I think it’s the perfect level of an attractive container.
It also comes in a plain cardboard box, so your privacy is intact. It comes from “WOW Tech Group,” so even those who come close enough to snoop won’t know what’s inside.
Inside the packaging are the prostate massager, USB charger, quick start user guide, a sample of pjur lube, and a satiny storage bag. Everything you need to start your prostate pleasure journey has been carefully packed. Plus, I’m a big fan of the We-Vibe lube—it stays slick for a surprisingly long time.
The multi-language user manual has a ton of information—it’s 38 pages long, including the multiple translations. Many user manuals have silly warnings in them, and this one was no different. My favorite nugget of wisdom was this: “Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children.” So, if the wireless remote control battery dies, don’t have kids replace it for you, please. They’re not qualified!
Design
This toy has a nice gender-free color, and the shape is easy to insert.
The weak spot in the design is the remote. The remote doesn’t match this toy, and design elements from the toy weren’t included in the remote. It’s not a super luxurious remote control, but that’s how they keep the price of this toy somewhat low, I guess. Some We-Vibe remote controls are very luxurious and match the toy, like the We-Vibe Chorus remote. But others have a generic remote, like the We-Vibe Moxie, which has the same remote as the Vector.
Material
The We-Vibe Vector is made from body-safe silicone. It’s not too squishy or soft, but silky and firm, which is the sweet spot for prostate massagers. Regarding the quality of the silicone, it’s waterproof, incredible to touch, and gorgeous, so Vector gets all the points for the material.
Build Quality and Dimensions
This product felt well-constructed, thanks to the excellent build quality. Everything is sturdy and made to last, which is typical for We-Vibe toys. It’s flexible too, and some flexible toys feel breakable, which doesn’t make for comfortable use.
I should mention it didn’t bend where my partner expected it to, so the Vector didn’t seem very flexible the first time he tried it. If you’re playing with the toy, make sure you know where the joint is and bend it from there. When you bend it to the angle you like, it will stay in that position.
You will have about 45 degrees of options to play with, so this toy will suit many different body shapes.
Ease Of Use
The We-Vibe Vector is as easy to use as prostate massagers come. It’s small, so it’s reasonably easy to get in place and easy to adjust if you don’t like the angle. Further, it only has one button so going through the settings is straightforward. The remote comes already paired with the toy, and the app control also makes it easy for people to use.
The only drawback is the button isn’t super easy to press, and it doesn’t have a handle for stability. If you try to adjust the settings without the help of the remote or app once the toy is already in, you’ll move the toy due to the pressure you’ll have to use.
Stimulations
The stimulations on the We-Vibe Vector were good, and they are perfect for a beginner user. Other prostate toys have a bit more punch, but this will work for anyone who isn’t into super intense vibrations.
Remote Control
The remote control is a cinch to use. It’s automatically paired with your toy, so you don’t have to worry about too much setup. But Vector can only be paired to one remote or app at a time—for obvious reasons.
We-Connect App Control
We-Vibe has many app-controllable toys, making this a fantastic brand for people in long-distance relationships to consider. While Lovense is the giant in the app-controlled sex toy industry, the We-Connect app is competitive.
To connect to the We-Connect app, you hold the button down until it vibrates twice. Then, if you’re in the app, it will connect automatically.
There’s a lot this app can do, so it’s fun to play with. Once you’ve connected your toy, hit the play button, and you’re taken to a screen with an up and down arrow. This function will increase or decrease the intensity of the vibration modes on both motors.
Then, if you click multi vibe, you can use the three preset vibration modes or press the plus button and create vibration patterns from scratch. This is how you can control the two motors separately.
Next, if you click touch mode, you have a blank canvas on your phone screen. The quicker you move your fingers on the canvas, the more intense the vibration pattern becomes.
If you click “more” and then playlist, you can combine different vibration patterns to make a playlist for your prostate gland. Fun! Next, under “more,” if you click ambient mode, you can turn on the microphone and the toy will respond to sounds. Whether you like to listen to music or screams from a horror movie, that’s up to you! You can set one motor to respond to treble and the other to bass to use the sensations separately. Lastly, under “more” is the beat mode, which can connect to the song library on your phone.
However, with this toy, the app wasn’t perfect. When my partner tried it, the app felt slightly slow to respond and not very sensitive. If you make too little of a change, it may not change your experience much, especially when using multi-control.
The only way that you can control the two motors separately is with the app. There are two ways to do so. If you use the multi-control, you can create your own patterns, in which you can create different rhythms for the two motors. The second way to control the motors separately is by using the Music function to set one motor to respond to bass and the other to respond to treble. However, if you need to easily control the two motors separately, this is not the toy for you.
Sound Level
My partner’s subjective experience was that this toy wasn’t too loud. The noise level was what you would expect for the power this prostate massager delivers. However, we tested it, and the max and min decibels range from 40-51, which is like “a quiet conversation, a quiet suburb, a quiet office, or a quiet refrigerator,” according to this helpful website.
Versatility
The We-Vibe Vector is versatile. It offers prostate and perineum vibration, but the ability to control those two motors separately is limited. The settings provide a little variety, but there’s no way to completely control the two motors individually unless you’re using the app. Thanks to the adjustable head, it’s also flexible, which can help you angle it to hit the P-spot better. And you can use the app to add extra creativity to your solo play-time.
Further, the video on the We-Vibe website says that this is perfect for public play. While my partner found that the toy would stay inserted while walking around, it’s not so small that he would have been comfortable using it for public play. But your experience may be very different!
Lastly, there are ten default vibration settings, which is enough to play with even if you don’t intend to make your own rhythms with We-Vibe’s app (the We-Connect app.) The vibration functions give you a lot of different settings to play with, and it’s fun to find the one that is your fave. Using the app to create custom patterns puts this toy on an entirely different level than other prostate massagers.
Warranty and Support
We-Vibe offers a two-year warranty for the Vector, which is excellent in the world of sex toys!
Battery Life
The battery life was adequate for this kind of toy. Unless you’ll be playing for hours or having tantric-style sex, the battery life is more than what you need. Plus, when it gets low, you’ll see a low battery alert and know that you need to recharge.
Minor issues we found during testing
When he played with it, he preferred the experience of using the remote control or the app to control it. Using the button wasn’t the best because once he got it into place, if he pushed the button, it would change the position of the prostate massager. The toy is small enough that the amount of pressure will cause you to start over with positioning the toy, which is a bit frustrating. It’s easiest to use one of the two hands-free options when playing with this toy.
The app control worked great with plenty of different stimulations. However, if you want to use the two motors independently of each other, you’ll have to be a bit creative, using the music function or creating two different patterns for each motor. It’s not incredibly intuitive to use the sensations separately, so this toy is best suited for people who want to enjoy both sensations at once.

The size and shape are larger, and there are two knobs on the internal arm, so it will not be as easy to insert if you’re new to prostate play.

How Do I Charge We-Vibe Vector?
The We-Vibe Vector is rechargeable and comes with a magnetic USB cable. To charge, place the charger around the charging port, and it magically (magnetically) snaps into place!
It’s easy to tell if the device is charging. If the light is blinking, it’s charging. And if it’s not blinking, switch the magnetic charger the opposite way or check to ensure it’s fully plugged in. The manual says it will take 90 minutes to charge and should last up to 120 minutes. When I tried it, it took 90 minutes to charge and lasted exactly two hours on a full charge. It performed during the test exactly as the user manual suggested, which has never happened before! So, it has an excellent and eerily accurate battery life.
The remote control isn’t rechargeable, so you’ll have to replace it with a CR2032 button cell battery when that dies.
How Do I Clean We-Vibe Vector?
Vector vibrating is waterproof, so you can wash it with warm water and soap or a designated sex toy cleaner. Then, dry with a lint-free cloth. To clean the remote, wipe it with a damp cloth and gentle soap—but do not submerge it! The remote control isn’t waterproof, only splashproof, so it may break if you hold it under water.
Is We-Vibe Vector Quiet?
