How We Picked the Products

Why we love LELO Loki Wave 2:

LELO Loki Wave 2 ranked as the best prostate dildo, largely thanks to its dual-motor design that delivered more precise stimulation to both the prostate and perineum than any other products we tested. The motors worked together rather than competing, creating a fuller, more balanced experience that stood out during every testing session.

Unfortunately, there aren’t different buttons for the come-hither motion and the perineum stimulator. The only way to get independent control is by cycling through the preset ten settings because some turn off the fingering movements and perineum vibrations.

Minor issues we found during testing:

People with limited mobility will have issues reaching the buttons. A dedicated smartphone application or a wireless remote control would’ve been great.

In addition, the Loki Wave 2 costs $150, which can be too steep for most anal prostate play users. Of course, the price comes with impressive capabilities, including dual stimulation and come-hither motion. Still, it’s not the most affordable prostate dildo we reviewed.

The njoy Pure Wand was the top pick among the metal prostate dildos we tested. Its polished stainless-steel finish gave it a sleek, mirror-like look, and the weight added a distinct feel that set it apart from softer toys.

Besides the ergonomics, the P-spot stimulating Wand has a curved shaft and two bulbous heads on either side, making it perfect for prostate stimulation. More importantly, the bulbous ends are differently sized, 1″ and 1.5″ (image below), making it ideal for most users, regardless of experience and gender (My wife loves the dildo). Something that stood out during the testing was the curved shaft (image below). Our testers found it more pronounced than anticipated from the pictures after unboxing. Still, the curvature made hitting the prostate more straightforward.

We also found it relatively easy to handle the njoy Pure Wand. The smooth stainless-steel finish slips often, especially with lubed hands, but regulating the intensity and angle of penetration was relatively easy.

While some reviewers faulted the non-vibrating design, I didn’t miss a beat. Of course, a prostate vibrator turns on the dials, but the weighted design and temperature-responsive properties made up for the inequity.

I submerged it in warm and cold water to test out temperature play. Notably, the warm sensations were more exciting than the cold ones – unless you live in the tropics and want a quick refresher, the feeling of an ice-cold metal prostate in your ass is not the most fun.

Minor issues we found during testing:

Unfortunately, you can’t regulate the vibrations on the two motors independently with the remote control. Even with the We-Connect app, it takes creativity, including using the music function to achieve the exciting dual-rumble effect.

Adding a suction cup to the design makes the Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy another good option for hands-free play. I tried using it on multiple surfaces, and it held on well, especially in horizontal positions. Even when it didn’t, a few drops of water stabilized the suction pressure.
