I would have liked it if it had a storage container, especially since it’s a bit prone to gathering dust. But instructions aren’t necessary if you’re familiar with dildos, and this price may exclude newbies.

The material is the big draw. It’s a dual-density silicone dildo, which gives it an oh-so-realistic feeling that’s amazing.
Dual-density means that the outer layer of non-porous silicone is softer than the firm inner core of silicone, and the soft outer layer feels a lot like skin. If it’s something you haven’t felt before, you’re missing out!

The insertable length of the curved shaft is 6.5”—smaller than some models but bulkier than others. The 1 5/8” girth makes it still feel like a sizable dildo, if not super intimidating.

How To Clean Vixskin Mustang?
Cleaning this thing will be a cinch. Wash it in warm water with soap; if you prefer, you can boil it for three minutes to sanitize it. There’s no motor, so it’s fully waterproof and easy to keep clean. However, since it has a very flesh-like texture, keep it somewhere contained because otherwise, it will be a magnet for dust.
How To Use Vixskin Mustang?
To use the Vixen Mustang:
- Wash it and grab a bottle of water-based lubricant (no silicone-based lube).
- Lube the Mustang up, and lube yourself while you’re at it.
- Then, insert as far as is comfortable.
- If you use the suction cup feature, find a flat, hard surface to affix the suction cup. Then, use lubricant and go to town.
- However, if you’re using a slippery surface—like the wet one in your shower—keep in mind that the suction isn’t overly strong and tread with care.

My Personal Experience
Ease Of Use
I mentioned above that I was excited to try a smaller-sized dildo from the Vixen Creations offerings, and that’s the truth. I’m not a size queen, though I have a healthy respect for people who are. I stand in awe of their ambition. I’m like the opposite of a size queen. Perhaps I’m someone from the enemy faction ready to overthrow the monarchy and encourage a size-diverse democracy.
So, though the Vixen Mustang wasn’t much smaller than the Vixskin Johnny that I recently reviewed, I appreciated the abbreviated stature and the average size. It was much more my speed, or length, rather.
Realism
The first thing I noticed about the Mustang is that it is squishy in the best possible way—and it somehow manages to be durable and body-safe at the same time. Most dildos that pull off this kind of texture have an eye-opening list of toxins and porous materials that will turn on you after you use them frequently.
Vixen Mustang’s texture alone makes the expense worth it—not to mention the fantastic pleasure the squishy, soft silicone can deliver.
Vixen Toys have to be in the top echelon regarding color choices. Lovehoney carries a few of their color selections, but the Vixen Creations’ online store has many more from which you can choose. Tie bright, for example, is one of the choices of toy color you have. Tie bright is something like tie-dye but brighter.
Stimulations
Many people use this toy to find out if they can squirt. If you want to try squirting, Vixen Mustang is the perfect size toy to experiment with. However, some people may need clitoral stimulation paired with G-spot stimulation to squirt.

The suction cup mechanism worked reasonably well for me. The suction is somewhat sturdy, but since the base isn’t extra flexible, it can abruptly come unattached from whatever you stuck it to. Designing it with a bit more flex at the bottom would have made it slightly easier to use in the shower or on other wet surfaces.
Further, this dildo was fun to use as a strap-on toy with a harness. It’s firm enough that it’s easy to aim while still being soft enough not to qualify as a weapon. If you plan to use a harness, use one with a 1.5″ diameter O-ring. You can also use it for anal play, thanks to the flared base.
Minor issues I found during testing
The only thing that was a surprise was that, since this toy is so lifelike, it can necessitate using a ton of lube—even more than you would use for most toys. The consistency is very close to the texture of real skin, so it can get a bit sticky or seem to absorb the lubricant, meaning that you’ll need up to twice as much water-based lube as you typically use.

The Vixen Creation’s Vixskin Maverick is one of the more oversized dildos by Vixskin, at 2″ thick. There is a considerable size difference between the Vixskin Maverick and the Mustang, so the Vixen Maverick is perfect if you want something massive in your vagina.
However, the Maverick’s head is more squishy, which you’ll want to consider if you need a lot of firm pressure to have a G-spot orgasm. Overall, they are both made of the same firm silicone material—it’s just Maverick’s head that is extra soft.
