Fully aware of how challenging buying a dildo might be, we have jotted down the critical factors you’ll need to consider when choosing the ideal one for yourself;

1. The Dildo Size

The size has a significant impact on the quality of the sensations. So, depending on your experience level, pick a size that’s a bit challenging but not too burdening.

• For newbies, I recommend going with the smallest size. Remember, you can always upgrade and get a bigger size as your body gets more comfortable.

7. For Squirting Dildos

For squirting dildos, there are a few extra things to keep in mind.

1. First, you must consider the size of the semen storage; the size will depend on how you intend to use it. For instance, if you’re primarily interested in oral sex, a smaller pouch will be fine. However, if you’re the type that likes getting drenched after sex, then go for the largest bowl.

Picking the ideal anal toy is determined solely by your preference and experience. Let’s start with the size:

• If this is your first venture into anal play, I recommend something small, or better still, start with your fingers and work yourself up to bigger sizes over time.
• As you get used to it, you can slide into the “Intermediate” section. Here, I recommend trying anal toys that are slightly bigger and have more powerful vibrations. However, make sure you take it slow, don’t rush yourself, and move at the pace that your body is comfortable with.
• But if you’re an assplay expert, or feel like you need something bigger and stronger, dive into the “Advanced” category. Here, the price might be extreme, but remember, quality comes with a price.

Not to disregard the aesthetics, but the wearer’s safety is paramount to an enjoyable anal experience. So, after choosing a body-safe material for the plug, picking the right design comes second in enhancing your safety.

First, ensure the product has a flared base to stop the entire toy from sliding inside you (Unlike the vagina, the anal canal doesn’t have a barrier to prevent things from sliding all the way).

Most people disregard the importance of a flared design, especially when buying tail butt plugs. They think the tail can’t slide all in. While this is supposed to be the case, the tail might get dislodged during anal play, and the plug slide in before you even notice it. I’d prefer to err on the side of caution! What about you?

Pro Tip: Buying a complete kit also assures you the dildo(s) will fit perfectly on the harness. Getting the harness and dildo separately increases the chances of having two incredible but incompatible products. Sad. Right?

2. The Size Of The Strapon

The size has a significant influence on the ease of use.

While most models have flexible material or adjustable straps that allow you to alter the fit, I recommend you go for something that fits you well.

So, go for a good fit, preferably with adjustable straps, especially if your partner also uses it. A good fit ensures you’re comfortable and relaxed, which translates to a good time.

The dildo has a wide selection of materials used to make these magical sex aids. From silicone, latex, plastic, wood, and glass dildos, the possibilities are endless.

The ideal one will depend on your budget, skin sensitivity, and past experiences. While they’re not as cheap, I’d recommend silicone dildos because they are easy to clean, hypoallergenic, and non-porous.

Just like any other product, the design has a significant influence on how well you enjoy the experience:

• Thong/G-string: This is the most common style, and they work like a pair of regular thong panties. You put one of the straps around your butt while the front stays on your groin area. This design doesn’t give you that good access to the genital area, but it’s an easy and affordable option.
