How We Picked the Products
For this article, I pooled up to 45 of the best-selling products that I found on the most popular retail sites. The selection combined those I’ve tried before and new entrants on my overfilling cart. Besides the material, I picked different shapes and designs to meet the ever-changing needs of the sex industry.
And after I had a complete list, I invited my colleagues to test all the products. I also defined a list of test criteria that we could measure on a scale from 0 to 100. These included:

Minor issues we found during testing:

The curved shaft also stood out during my review (image above). It made it easy to hit my G-spot with little movement and finesse required. My male colleagues also shared similar sentiments, involving the ease at which the silicone anal dildo made prostate stimulation.
We noted that Lovehoney Curved has a small pouch beneath the suction cup base for a bullet vibrator (image below). Depending on the bullet you go for, you can feel a reasonable degree of vibrations seep through your vaginal tissues. The testers also ranked Big Shot’s control interface as one of the easiest ones to use. Its 2-button pad has a button to regulate the vibration patterns and another to initiate the squirting function.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, Big Shot sometimes leaks because the reservoir’s locking mechanism is loose; you must drain the semen liquid after every use.
It also has a rather stiff finish that is ideal for experienced folks who can handle the unforgiving density. Beginners and people with a sensitive G-spot/vaginal cavity will find it too challenging.
Lastly, the ABS plastic cap was finicky. It made an unpleasant racketing noise whenever I turned the vibrations on.

The testers also highlighted the following test criteria:

Mini Teddy has a decent enough suction cup base that is suitable for hands-free play. It attached well to most smooth surfaces like shower walls and floors but was not as efficient as some of the Vixskin models. Minor issues we found during testing:
Velvet Thruster Mini Teddy has a rattling noise that sounds like a sewing machine. You must get creative with music or a heavy duvet to mask the noise.

It has a 6″ girth and 7.5″ insertable length, making it an incredible choice for experienced anal and vaginal penetration fans. Our testers noted the minimal shaft detailing compared to the Mustang. It’s an often overlooked but necessary feature to give the Maverick a fierce yet unintimidating look.
Something else that stood out was the curved design and realistic head (image above). I thought it made it easy to target your sweet spots.
The massive Maverick also has the most robust suction base I’ve experienced, with a more elaborate dip and flexible material to trap the air inside. It detached a few times on the shower wall, but overall, I’d give it a 4 out of 5 in strength. (In the image below, you can see me testing the suction cup on my bedroom door.)
Maverick has a massive Corpus spongiosum beneath the penis and a flesh-pink well-defined coronal ridge to compensate for the missing shaft detailing. I could feel it glide against the lower vaginal walls, and especially during thrusting, it was intense.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Many of my colleagues described VixSkin Maverick as expensive. I agree, the $119 – $139 pricing is a bit steep for a non-vibrating sex toy.
In addition, the soft head makes it challenging to tickle the clitoris. Especially if you require intense thrusting to orgasm, you’ll find it hard to impart friction on the elusive spot.
Please note that it’s also massive and we recommend that beginners and intermediate readers start with a smaller size. Lovehoney Curved is a great place to start if you’re a first-time user.

VixSkin Mustang also has a curved shaft and an overly soft silicone head for precise vaginal and anal stimulation. Personally, the design enhanced the G-spot simulation, and my male colleagues shared the same sentiments regarding P-spot massage.

Minor issues we found during testing:
Like Maverick, the Mustang is pricey. Most people will find the $139 price too much for a toy that doesn’t vibrate.
Like Johnny and Maverick above, the dual-density design has a draggy effect that necessitates using more lube than a standard dildo.
Lastly, the suction cup base wasn’t the strongest among the reviewed models. I found the base a bit stiff and think using a much more flexible material for the base can remedy the situation and strengthen the suction base. Maverick is a better choice for hands-free play.
