Since bullet vibes are some of my favorite toys, I was thrilled to begin testing my Jimmyjane Mini Chroma.
I loved this powerful little bullet vibe. It couldn’t be simpler to use, and it’s gorgeous. In addition, it’s one of the most powerful sex toys I own. I tested it against my other bullet vibrators, and this little guy packed the most punch!
Who Should Try It? If you love clit stimulation, Jimmyjane Mini Chroma will impress you with its power. And you can use the sleeves Jimmyjane sells to customize the experience into something extraordinary.
Who Can Skip It? It won’t work if you need internal stimulation to orgasm. For those, Lelo Soraya Wave may be a better option.

Packaging
The Jimmyjane Mini Chroma showed up exceptionally adorably packaged. Mine even came in a box filled with brightly colored confetti! Jimmyjane got me a present, and it’s not even my clitoris’ birthday! How thoughtful.
Inside the box are the bullet vibrator, remote control, magnetic USB charging cord, and storage bag. This toy doesn’t come with a user manual, which would be a nice touch.
However, you can find the instruction manual on their website. It’s not long, but it does mention that this toy is for novelty use only. And who among us isn’t a huge fan of novelty? I try to incorporate novelty into my life every day—you know, for my health.
Material
This little bullet vibe is made from aluminum alloy, ABS plastic, and silicone. While it’s not the softest material, it looks modern and sleek.
The remote and the bullet match each other well, but I would have preferred they left off the silicone from the remote and put more on the toy so it’s a bit softer on your parts (for potentially the same price point).
The materials are also waterproof, meaning this toy is perfect for bringing along on your wettest adventures!
Dimensions
This bullet vibrator is among the tiniest I have, making it perfect for travel and potentially easy to lose. Fortunately, the storage bag will prevent this from happening.
Design
The bodies of bullet vibes don’t typically vary much. This one is small and shaped like a bullet, just like most others are, and it’s about the size of a tampon.
Battery Life and Charging
The Jimmyjane Mini Chroma comes with a USB charging cord, which charges both the remote control and the bullet vibrator. The instruction manual says it would take 90 minutes to charge and die in 60 minutes, which isn’t a great ratio.
When I tested it, it took an hour and twenty minutes to charge and lasted just over an hour, slightly better than projected.
Controls
The controls are easy enough to use since there’s only one button on the bullet vibe and one on the remote control, so operating this toy is foolproof.
To start the JimmyJane bullet vibe, you’ll need to press the button for a few seconds until the light underneath it turns on. It’s a bit difficult to see the light since it is directly underneath your thumb, so plan on holding the button down for about three seconds.
Then, push the button briefly to cycle through the three intensity levels and seven vibration modes you can choose from.
The buttons on the sex toy and the remote operate in the same way, and the remote automatically pairs with the toy. All you need to do is turn the toy on, turn the remote on, and get started.
Accessories
Jimmyjane sells other toys you can pair with the Chroma if you’d like, including the Mini Chroma Sleeve 1, 2, and 3, all made of silicone and cost $25. They will make the experience more lavish since the silicone feels softer on your sensitive spots.
- Sleeve 1 has an angled tip for extra pinpoint sensation.
- The Sleeve 2 has a finger-vibe shape, making partner play easy.
- Sleeve 3 mimics the shape of bunny ears on a rabbit, catering to those who favor fluttery sensations.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Since the Mini Chroma is waterproof, it is easy to clean. Just wash with warm water and soap, or use a sex toy cleaner if that’s easier.
There are small seams where the different materials meet, so you might want to use a toothbrush for detailed work. I also recommend not using anything that contains alcohol, petrol, or acetone to wash this product.
How To Use Mini Chroma?
After washing and charging the bullet vibe (and remote control, if you plan to use it), grab some water-based lube. Lube yourself and the toy, and then use the raised button to turn the Mini Chroma on and find your favorite settings.

My Personal Experience
I always love to be surprised by a bullet vibrator. However, that’s hard to do since I’m a lifelong bullet vibe devotee. Yet the Jimmyjane Mini Chroma surprised me.
Stimulations
How do you fit so much power into such a small package? It’s something I wondered after trying this toy, and the folks at Jimmyjane certainly have figured out the answer. The Mini Chroma’s incredible power explains the relatively high charge time-to-use time ratio.
This little vibe fires on all cylinders!
I tested this guy against all of my bullet vibrators, and this one was the most powerful. It’s also firmly on the buzzy side of the spectrum, so keep that in mind if buzzy vibrators aren’t your thing.
Ease Of Use
Since bullet vibrators are so tiny, there’s almost always a lot of transfer to your fingers. If you’re engaged in “novelty” for too long, your hands might become numb. The transfer has nothing to do with the Mini Chroma since it’s true for nearly all bullet vibes.
If you’re sensitive to numbness, it’s something to consider when purchasing one.
Minor issues I found during testing
The one bone I have to pick with this toy is the lack of silicone. Only the toy’s tip is silicone, so if you’d like to have the softest part touching your clit, you must use that end. But that’s also the end that charges, so it’s textured by the magnetic charging port with two tiny metal dots. I wish the silicone wasn’t on the remote where it’s not needed, so there was an extra inch of softness where you want it the most.
Aside from that, I think it will be one of the most-used toys in my sex toy drawer (formerly known as my nightstand).
