The Satisfyer Glowing Ghost promises to deliver scary good climaxes without scaring away beginners. Will this ghost be a glow-up to your collection, or is it about as appealing as stale candy corn?
Read my review of the Glowing Ghost to find out.
With its adorable shape and customizable stimulations, I can definitely see Glowing Ghost being a great beginner option. With both suction and vibration stimulations to choose from (which you can use separately or at the same time), it’s easy to find the perfect sensations to get you going. That said, the vibes on this toy definitely won’t scare anyone off with how powerful they are, so if you already have a suction toy that does it for you, there’s really no need to add this one to your collection.
Who Should Try It? If you’re a beginner to the world of sex toys, the Glowing Ghost could be a great place to start. It’s adorable, easy to hold, and with its dual stimulations (suction and vibration) that you can use in tandem, you can easily discover just what you like. It’s gentle enough for people who are more sensitive, and easy to use once you get the hang of the button system.
Who Can Skip It? If you like a lot of power, this is one to skip. Designed for beginners, its gentle suction stimulations feel nice, but don’t have the thudding power of more intense toys.
You Can Buy It on the official Satisfyer website for $79.95.
What Is The Satisfyer Glowing Ghost?
Something of a little sibling to the Satisfyer Cutie Ghost, the Glowing Ghost is another Satisfyer ghost-themed clitoral vibrator that uses both air pressure and vibrations. While the two toys are virtually identical, I found myself preferring the Glowing Ghost. Tiny changes really add up, like the fact that it’s easier to hold (and therefore position), it stands up by itself, and it just looks better. It also glows in the dark, which is a feature I didn’t really take advantage of, but which you might be super into.
First Impressions and Features
Unboxing
The outside packaging looks nice, if a little half-baked. Seriously, why does it say “Dual Air Pulse Vibrator”? The phrasing implies that it has two types of air pulses, not air pulses and vibrations. Also, both the charger and the instruction manual came wrapped in plastic, which I do not appreciate:
On the plus side, I liked that the bottom of the box said, “Glow-in-the-Dark”, whereas the similar toys I’ve reviewed from them say “Cute and Playful Design”. I feel like if a sex toy has a cute and playful design, the packaging should reflect that, not just tell me so.
I’ve complained about Satisfyer’s somewhat confusing wording on their packaging before, and the Glowing Ghost had those same problems. Namely the fact that it says “Air Pulse” in one section of the box, then on the bottom left, it says, “+vibration +silicone”. Surely the types of stimulation should be grouped together, with the material listed separately. One of these things is not like the others!
Features
- 11 pressure wave intensities

- Dual motors mean air pressure and vibrations can be used separately or in tandem
- Glows in the dark
- IPX7 waterproof
Specifications
- Material: ABS plastic, silicone
- Dimensions: 3.3” x 2.6” x 2.3”
- Color: White (yellow when glowing)
- Weight: 5 oz
- Power type: USB charger (charging cable included)
How Do I Use The Glowing Ghost?
- First, charge up your ghost with the included charging cable. A flashing light will indicate that the toy is charging, and will glow steadily when it is ready for some happy hauntings.
- Suction toys only work if the lip of the toy is fully surrounding your clit, with no room for air to escape. To ensure a proper seal, put a little bit of lube around the rim of the lip before placing it around your clit.
- To use the air pulses, long press the power (middle) button on the ghost’s body. To increase the intensity, continue pressing the power button. If it starts to be a little much, decrease the intensity by pressing the bottom button (with the double lines). Long hold the power button when you’re done with the air pulses.
- To use the vibration modes, either separately or along with the pulsations, long press the top button that looks like a sideways S. Continue pressing that button to cycle through the 12 vibration modes. Long hold the top button again to turn off the vibrations.
My Personal Experience
Design
Despite being so similar, I found I preferred the Glowing Ghost to the Satisfyer Cutie Ghost. One of my issues with the Cutie Ghost was that the lip lay too flat against the rest of the vibrator, making it difficult to position it just right, and which possibly contributed to the fact that the vibes just didn’t do it for me. The Glowing Ghost, however, has a tiny bit more of an angle separating the lip from the rest of the body, and that made all the difference (You can see both products in the image below). It was easier to hold in place, and I got a lot more out of the vibration component of the toy. Needless to say, it’s also adorable, and I liked the fact that it can stand upright. Definitely handy when you’re getting out the lube.
True to its name, this ghost does glow in the dark. The effect is a lot less dramatic than with a product like the Temptasia Rattle Snake, but it’s still a cool touch. On any other toy, I’d be tempted to call it a gimmick, but with something this cute, I can’t begrudge fun little features like that.
Material
The Glowing Ghost is made of ABS and silicone. It feels very smooth to the touch, and just felt very nice to hold while I was using it.
Stimulations
As with the Cutie Ghost, the Glowing Ghost has 11 air wave settings and 12 vibration modes, 5 of which are regular vibes that increase in intensity, 7 of which are patterns. However, the Glowing Ghost is overall a less intense toy than the Cutie Ghost. The website touts it as the “perfect vibrator for everyone who has little to no experience with using vibrators”, and I think the comparatively gentle stimulations have a lot to do with that.
Sound Level
Glowing Ghost is extremely quiet, especially when you’re just using the air pressure stimulation.
Build Quality and Dimensions
The Glowing Ghost is quite small, with a length of 3.3”, width of 2.6”, and height of 2.3”. It fits perfectly in my palm, but wasn’t so small that it was hard to maneuver or press the buttons. While the toy is fun and adorable, it still feels high quality.
Ease of Use
The button system isn’t super intuitive, but once you get the hang of it, the buttons are easy to press without having to move the toy (a key component of a good clit vibrator). And with a bit of lube around the rim, it’s easy to position it around the clit.
Versatility
While the vibration sensations can be used on other erogenous zones, Glowing Ghost is really meant to be a clit suction toy. Which is no problem, since it does that job very well. Personally, I preferred the suction to the regular vibration, but the two working together were great! Plus, you can spice things up by using both types of stimulation in tandem, then right as you’re about to climax, pulling back and just using the suction, in order to make your playtime last a little longer.
It’s also XP7 waterproof, and would probably look really cool glowing underwater:
Warranty and Support
Satisfyer offers an impressive 15-year warranty.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
My only issue with Glowing Ghost itself was how gentle the sensations were. But in a toy specifically geared towards beginners, that will definitely be a benefit for some people. My broader issue, though, was the excessive plastic packaging. Not cool, Satisfyer.

Cons
- Stimulation might be too gentle for a lot of people
- Excess plastic packaging
Alternatives to the Glowing Ghost
Satisfyer Cutie Ghost
Yes, I know I made it clear that I preferred the Glowing Ghost overall, but if you really love the idea of a ghost-themed toy and want something with a bit more power, the Cutie Ghost is the one to get. Because while the Glowing Ghost was my favorite in terms of design, the Cutie was more intense.
ROMP Switch X
If you’re new to the world of suction toys and don’t want to spend $80 to find out if you like them, the ROMP Switch X is a great budget option. It only uses air pressure waves, not vibrations, but it’s still made of body-safe silicone and has six levels of intensity to choose from.
