After setting this baby up, we had no doubts about its strength and durability, and it was much easier to enjoy suspended fun knowing that I was well-supported and didn’t have to worry about the stand coming crashing down.
The Screamer Stand is also designed to be easy to set up. Despite not being especially handy (setting up Ikea furniture is a challenge), I still managed to set this swing up by myself in under 10 minutes. It does not require any power tools, though I did need a stepping stool to attach the front pieces since I decided to pop those in mid-air. That being said, after setting the Screamer up, I was finally able to take in its full size, and this thing is absolutely massive! It takes up around 40 square feet of space, so if you’re working with limited space, you might be better served testing out one of the best door sex swings.

The Tetruss Maxximus was dubbed a “dungeon in a duffel bag” by our very own Tim Larson and is an excellent first investment for anyone wanting to get started on their BDSM furniture collection. It’s also incredibly lightweight despite being the roomiest of all the sex swing stands we tested, making it our most portable option.
The Tetruss Maxximus shipped out directly from the manufacturer in two separate boxes, both of which were completely nondescript. One held the stand itself, and the other housed all of the additional accessories. Despite not having the name of the manufacturer or product on the box, as you would expect for a toy this size the boxes were quite large. Definitely not as low-key as your standard vibrator. It also took around two weeks from the day I placed my order for the stand and accessories to arrive, so don’t be concerned if this bad boy takes its time getting to you.
The first thing we noticed about the Tetruss Maxximus is that, despite being close to 8 feet tall and amazingly wide, it is incredibly light, weighing only 20 pounds. “This is because, unlike the other products we reviewed, the Tetruss Maxximus is made from aluminum alloy, which is one-third as heavy as steel despite being similar in terms of strength”, our lead product tester Tim Larson explained. “As you might have guessed, aluminum alloy is more expensive than steel, which is one of the main reasons why this stand boasts a higher price tag. [2]”, Tim continued.
Because this stand is light, designed for an easy set-up, and packs up into the tiny Tetruss Travel Bag (sold separately), you can have it packed up and ready to either store or move in a matter of minutes. It only took me around 15 minutes to take this stand from fully erect to completely packed, so if portability is important to you, I can assure you it doesn’t get better than the Tetruss Maximuss. In terms of versatility, this bondage sex swing can be used for rope suspension, swing hanging, or in replace of a St Andrew’s cross. It truly has everything you need to bring your BSDM dreams to life. Just keep in mind that it has a load limit of 300 pounds, so it’s recommended to not push its limits with too much movement.
We also appreciated that the Tetruss comes more or less with everything you need to get started—a 42” spreader bar that fits the frame perfectly and extremely comfortable and quality leather stirrups for maximum back and thigh support. That being said, a few pieces are missing, which is my only qualm with an otherwise perfect swing.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Considering the price of the Tetruss Maxximus, I would have loved to see it come with everything you need to get started. Instead, you’re left to track down a few of the pieces yourself—4 chains and 14 snap clips, to be exact. Luckily, the additional hardware only costs around $50 and can be tracked down easily at your local hardware store (I found mine at Ace Hardware), or you can also order them off Amazon. Just remember that you need them so you don’t have the unfortunate experience of setting up your swing stand and not being able to use it.
Also, beware that the Tetruss Maxximus cannot be express shipped and some restrictions apply to international shipping addresses, so contact customer service if you have any issues completing your order.
