Who Can Skip It? Anyone living in smaller apartments may not have the space to store this swing. Plus, it has a 2.5-foot chain—a crucial thing to consider if you want to suspend it from your ceiling (The stand is better, IMHO).

The Screamer Dual Hook: The King of Swings
Before buying a sex swing, you should consider the different products to know which is right for you. Most either attach to the ceiling or a door or have a stand to which you affix them. For this review, I tested the Screamer Dual Hook, the Screamer Sex Swing Stand, and the squatting attachment.
I haven’t tried many sex swings before, so I only had a couple to compare this one to. But I was excited to get started and see whether the Screamer Dual Hook was worth the space it would occupy in my bedroom.

A quick note: the website says that the Screamer Dual Hook has a weight limit of 300 lbs. But the unboxing video by the same company says that each spring on the dual hook can hold 200 lbs, meaning it would be able to hold 400 lbs. So, this thing can withstand somewhere between 300-400 lbs. When testing out the weight limit, exercise caution (and have a soft landing prepared underneath you!).

Packaging
The Screamer Dual Hook is too big to come with fancy packaging. It (plus the stand and the squatting attachment) arrived on my doorstep in two cardboard boxes. The steel tubes were in plastic bags inside one cardboard box and came with a duffle bag for storage. The swing and the attachments were in the other box.
It also comes with a storage bag that fits all the swings, cuffs, headrest, and other material attachments so you can store it away when not in use.
Material
The stand is made of steel, so it feels pretty sturdy even when sitting on the swing. The swing itself is made of cotton canvas. Both are body-safe, which is always critical, even though this isn’t the kind of sex toy you will use internally.
Dimensions
The Screamer Dual Hook with the stand is massive. If you buy this, you will have an entire swing set in your bedroom (or your dungeon, if you’re lucky enough to live in a castle). It’s over seven feet tall and takes up more than 40 square feet of floor space.
Assembly
The assembly is one of the most significant selling points for this stand. It’s easy. And that’s coming from someone who has had trouble putting together IKEA furniture in the past.
You don’t need tools. The Screamer Dual Hook only requires one person to put it together (as long as you can lift twenty-ish pounds by yourself and don’t have mobility issues), and it just takes a few minutes to put it all together. Once the stand is together, it takes less than a minute to attach the swing. The instructions are sparse, but it’s reasonably intuitive, making it a good choice for anyone who doesn’t want a hassle.
It’s easy to take apart and store, too. Not as easy as shoving a vibrator back into your nightstand, but it’s simple compared to how complicated I thought it would be. It doesn’t feel like a project by any stretch.
Stand
The stand is big. There’s no other way to describe it. If you have a small or medium-sized bedroom, you won’t be able to use the stand. The nice thing about the size is it does feel incredibly sturdy. However, before you use it, you should inspect it for signs of damage and do a weight test before giving it a try.
Keep in mind the stand won’t fit over a king-sized bed. I have a king-sized bed and can attest this was true. Instead, I set it up next to my bed, which is nice if you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re sleeping in a park.
Attachments
The Screamer Dual Hook has several different attachments you can buy with it, like the squatting attachment and the stand. It comes with handgrips, too, which offer an excellent sense of stability when you’re on the swing. Plus, the headrest is free with any purchase from SexSwing.com.
Now, let’s talk about each of the attachments.
Squatting Attachment
You can buy the squatting attachment separately to use in tandem with the swing and stand. Each squatting attachment set comes with two straps, perfect for people who weigh 150 lbs or less. If you weigh more than that, you’ll want to get two sets to be sure you can safely use the attachment. The video on their site says they aren’t meant to support your body weight but rather to “enhance the porn star bounce.”
When you use the squatting attachment, you attach it to the stirrups that come with the Screamer Dual Hook and adjust it, so the stirrups come right under your knees, height-wise. You put your legs through the stirrups, and then, keeping your feet on the floor helps you squat. Your partner would lie on the floor, and you would straddle over them in a more comfortable cowgirl position.
You can use the hand attachments for added balance, taking pressure off your hips and thighs. It seems like this would make cowgirl a more feasible position for extended periods, even for people with stiffer joints.
The squatting attachment only works with a few select sex swings: the Screamer Dual Hook, the Whip Smart, and the Wild Side. So, keep that in mind if you want to use the squatting attachment.
Headrest
The headrest is an attachment that is super crucial unless you have neck muscles like Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. It comes free with the purchase of any swing on SexSwing.com, and it cradles your neck so you can feel weightless and at ease while in the swing. It’s also soft and comfortable. Plus, it fits a variety of neck sizes.
Warranty and Support
Screamer offers a two-year warranty against defects in their products.
Cleaning
In the “expert thoughts” video on the website, the spokesperson says the Screamer Dual Hook Swing is the only washable product on the market. I’m not sure whether it’s true, but I appreciate it’s washable. Anything used during sex must be washable at a minimum, or things will quickly become unsanitary. You can throw the cotton canvas parts in the wash with some towels to minimize banging sounds (at least, I did, and it worked just fine). But don’t put them in the dryer, or they will warp.
You can wipe down the steel parts with a cleaning solution as needed.
How To Use Screamer Dual Hook?
- After you wash the cotton canvas attachments and assemble everything, how it works is basically up to you.
- You attach the swing (the seat), which will hold most of your body weight, put your feet in the stirrups, hang on to the handgrips, and rest your head on the headrest.
- It takes a little tweaking to get these all attached at comfortable lengths for your specific body size, so plan to spend some time adjusting until it fits perfectly.

Positions to Try in the Sex Swing
- You can use the Screamer Dual Hook to get into a comfy reclining missionary position where one person stands and penetrates the partner in the swing.
- Or you could put your midsection in the swing for a suspended doggy-style configuration.
- You could also have one person sit or kneel on the floor while the other is in the swing for a new variation on classic oral sex positions.

My Personal Experience
Ease Of Use
I was nervous about the setup and the space when I began filming the unboxing video. I had enough room in my bedroom, but I was worried I would end up with a broken rib or, worse, a shattered vagina if I set it up incorrectly. However, I was pleasantly surprised that I managed to put this together correctly, though I am a true novice in assembling anything more complicated than a pan of lasagna.
Once everything was set up and I had thrown the materials into the wash, I started.
Build Quality
I did a weight test first, so I put a watermelon in the swing to see if it would hold. Then, I put some pressure on it with my knee to see if it started to buckle. It seemed sturdy and could withstand my weight (and my partner’s weight) without any trouble.
Sturdiness is vital because if you’re nervous about the swing collapsing, you will not relax enough to have fun on it. So, though this toy is expensive, I think it’s wise not to go the budget route when it comes to something you want to hold yourself aloft while naked.
Comfort
There are pictures on the website of two people riding in this swing together, and I am happy for those with Cirque-du-Soleil levels of agility. I tried to use it with a partner, and it didn’t exactly work. Like, we were both able to get into the swing. But once there, since no one was very stable, moving around became a huge physics problem with no evident solution.
If you’re an aerial dancer, again, you probably won’t have any problem. But for me, having two people use this swing simultaneously was outside of my acrobatic-sex skill level.
However, using it with one person standing or lying while the other was in the swing was a cinch. It’s comfy and fun and makes playing with different angles during sex a breeze.
One of the cool things about using a sex swing is thrusts have more momentum because you don’t have the deadening resistance of a mattress. I mean, the thrusts don’t have more momentum, but it gives sex an extra bouncy feel.
People who use the dual hook swing without the stand will have almost endless options for positioning it. It’s great news for bigger people because you can put the hooks wide apart to feel comfortable rather than squeeze in the swing.
Safety
Another thing I loved about the dual hook swing is it’s safer than a single hook sex model. When you’re in a single hook, if it’s not secured right and comes undone, you’re coming down with it. In a dual hook, one side might malfunction, and you would slip out, but a heavy swing won’t fall on your head at the same time. It’s doubtful that both sides would fail at once, which boosts the feeling of security when using it.
Storage
Keep in mind that while it’s easy to set up, this toy is by no means discreet. If anyone sets foot in your room, be it your in-laws, your children, or your pets, they will know you have a sex swing. And though it is quick to take apart and store, it’s not so simple that if your roommate is knocking at your door, you’ll be able to dismantle it without an awkwardly long pause.
However, what it lacks in unobtrusiveness, it makes up for in security. A single-hook model might be easier to dismantle and hide, but the size of this swing makes it sturdy and reliable for unruly sex. If you buy this, get a good lock for your bedroom door.

Since it’s an investment, it’s a good purchase for people who already know they love sex swings. But it’s also perfect for older people or anyone whose back, knees, and neck feel strained during sex in most positions.
The Screamer Dual Hook with a stand is a perfect choice for people who rent their homes since you don’t have to install anything fancy like a ceiling mount. If you’re a couple with vastly different height differences, the swing could make it easier to try more than one sex position.
Who Can Skip It
Though I loved this product, there is a good portion of the population the Screamer Dual Hook Swing wouldn’t work for.
People who live in small houses or apartments may not want to dedicate the space necessary to have this swing. Plus, people with roommates who hope this toy will somehow be discreet will be disappointed.
While you could engage in solo play in the sex swing, it’s more fun with a partner and meant for exploring partnered positions. So, I’m not sure it would be worth the investment for single folks.
The price alone will mean that folks who want to stay on a tight budget won’t be able to use this toy. Fortunately, if you need help getting into different sex positions, cheaper options are available.
Lastly, the Screamer Dual Hook comes with 2.5 feet of chain—an important thing to consider for those who plan to suspend it from the ceiling. If you have high, vaulted ceilings, this probably won’t be enough to reach the floor, and climbing in would be precarious, so you would need to buy the stand to use with the swing.

Fetish Deluxe wins the budget category, as it is only $54, compared to the Screamer Dual Hook Swing, which is $219, and the stand, which costs $399.
The Fetish Deluxe Door Swing is suitable for making that up-against-the-wall type of sex much more comfortable and feasible for both parties involved. The penetrator won’t have to hold the other person up the whole time, and the person being penetrated won’t have to use their abs to hold up their legs throughout the encounter.
However, the Screamer Dual Hook allows for much more position experimentation. The Door Swing only allows you to try one position: up against a door.

It’s perfect for anyone who wants to know if they like sex swings before spending an arm and a leg. The Screamer Dual Hook is much more comfortable, so part of the price break on the Wild Side is because the swing isn’t quite as cushy. It’s a thinner foam and doesn’t come with a carrying bag.
