Contrary to popular belief, sex swings aren’t inherently kinky. You can have vanilla sex in them, like sex scheduled on the calendar for two weeks in advance, in a modified missionary position, while holding hands in total silence with the lights off. But some models can help you get dirty, like Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing. As soon as it arrived on my doorstep, I was excited to start testing my Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing.
While I found this swing comfortable, I wouldn’t spend all day in it. After a while, it did pinch my hips slightly. Since there’s only one hook, the pressure pulls your hips up and can sometimes get uncomfortable. However, it’s an excellent spinning sex swing for people who want to try bondage play or experience a “swinging experience”.
Who Should Try It? If you like spinning and want to try bondage, Fetish Fantasy is the sex swing you’re looking for.
Who Can Skip It? If you want a product you can easily wash or something comfortable for marathon sex, you should buy the Wild Side or the Screamer Dual Hook instead.
You Can Buy It on sexswing.com for $199.

What Is The Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing?
Fetish Fantasy is a bondage sex swing with cuffs, stirrups, and some strategically placed d-rings that, ironically, aren’t for your d but for hooking your partner up to. It’s also a single hook swing meant for spinning, which piqued my curiosity.
I recently tried the Screamer Dual Hook, a luxury playground in my bedroom, and the Wild Side, a cheaper but still comfortable option. I received the Screamer Sex Swing Stand with these swings, which I’ve used for all three swings (but is sold separately). The model was the first single hook sex swing I had tried, and I was excited to see which I liked the best.

Packaging
The Fetish Fantasy arrived in a discreetly packaged cardboard box. Inside the box is the not-so-discreet box that contains the swing.
The cover image demonstrates one way you could use the sex swing: a woman is nearly doing the splits mid-air while a man in his boxers stares at her. She is cuffed to the swing, and he is cuffed to her, which begs the question: who is dominating them? The photographer? Is no one in charge? This photo conveys a chaotic, anarchy-riddled kink scene.
Back to the brass tacks: the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing comes with everything you need to set it up immediately if you already have a sex swing stand or a secure ceiling mount. If you don’t, you’ll need to install the included ceiling hook before getting started. And don’t just screw the hook into the ceiling willy-nilly—be sure you install it into a structure that can handle the weight of your activities.
The Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing also doesn’t come with a storage bag.
Material
The padding is made from coated neoprene, which is slightly less comfy than the cotton canvas material of the other sex swings I recently tried. The padding is thinner and somewhat shiny, which can stick to you if you get sweaty, like a car seat sticks to your legs in the summer.
In addition, neoprene is not the most environmentally friendly material as its production yields toxic gases, and it’s somewhat tricky to recycle.
Dimensions
The Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing doesn’t take up too much room without the stand. It could comfortably fit inside your closet, but you might want to get something to store it inside since it doesn’t come with a storage bag. The stirrup loops are just 21”, the shortest I’ve come across, but I could easily fit my legs inside them. But if you are plus-sized, these may not work for you.
Assembly
Maybe I’m just getting good at assembling sex swings (time to update the ol’ resume), but this took me less than one minute to put together. To be honest, it comes in the box mostly together. You must assemble the stand (or securely screw the hooks into your ceiling), which took only three minutes—a new personal record. And then, you need to adjust the straps so it fits your partner’s height and everything feels secure.
Stand
I used the Screamer Sex Swing Stand (which retails for $399). It’s super easy to put together and feels 100% secure. I adore it, and having used it, I can’t imagine using ceiling hooks. However, the price point is relatively high and it’s enormous, so it won’t fit in your room unless you have lots of free space. It takes up 6’2’’ x 6’7’’of space on your floor and is over 7 feet tall.
Headrest Attachment
SexSwing.com sends a headrest with any purchase, which is thoughtful and necessary. Though the lady on the front of the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing package seems super psyched to be in the swing without the headrest, I assure you, it’s just a testament to her dedication to her craft. Deep down, her neck is tired.
Warranty and Support
It comes with a 60-day warranty that includes manufacturer defects. You will want to inspect this sex swing for damage immediately. No dawdling!
How To Clean?
Neoprene is what comprises most wetsuits. And, in another ironic twist, wetsuits can’t go in the wash. I assume the same is true for the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing pads. It’s a synthetic rubber that’s not necessarily waterproof. This material can make cleaning a bit tricky. I asked a question on their website about how they recommend washing it, and they have yet to answer. I recommend wiping the pads with a sex toy cleaner before putting your naked parts on them.
How To Use Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing?
- After you set up your stand or fasten a hook to your ceiling, you’ll want to test the swing to ensure it’s secure.
- If it is, then you should adjust the lengths of the straps until everything feels good.
- One will go under your backside, the other on your back, and you’ll also want the stirrups and cuffs to match your leg and arm lengths.
- There are six attachment points, so you’ll want to decide where you (or your partner) want to be cuffed.
- After that, grab your partner and get started!

My Personal Experience
Design
SexSwing.com’s compilation of the top six best swings lists “not spinning” as a con of all the swings that don’t spin. This swing does spin, so it was the feature I was most excited to try out for this Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing review. I was somewhat surprised to learn that this swing doesn’t spin and spin; rather, you can do nearly a 360-degree turn, at which point you’ll spin back to your original position.
I must admit this came as a bit of relief to me. Spinning around and around right before sex ranks up there with eating a hotdog and then going on a rollercoaster before sex as far as how erotic I find it. Gentle spinning, though, I can get behind.
Build Quality
The cuffs aren’t leather. Their stay-put mechanism is Velcro, albeit the type of Velcro that’s reasonably hard to wriggle out of. Part of the reason the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing is affordable is that the cuffs are made of lesser material. So, prepare for very light bondage.
Ease Of Use
Another note is that, when used with the stand and the spring, even adjusted at the tallest height, this swing was too low for my partner (who is 6’1’’) to use comfortably with me. For shorter folks, this may not pose a problem. We had to remove the spring entirely (and lower the straps a bit). So, it’s not quite as customizable as the other sex swings were, height-wise.
When I tried the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing, I noticed the spring gives this swing an unmistakably bouncy feel. This bounce may appeal to some, but I was constantly glancing up to make sure everything was functioning correctly and that I wouldn’t be getting a hilarious new sex injury. But for braver people than I, the bouncy sensation may add to the adventure. And in the end, everything functioned properly, and I was safe the whole time.
This sex swing has cuffs rather than handles, so repositioning yourself in the middle of sex can be tricky. But in a bondage scene, your partner may be controlling your movements anyway, so this isn’t necessarily a drawback.
Also, might I suggest you use the cuffs to restrain the ankles and wrists of the submissive? It makes more sense than both people being cuffed, the way it is shown on the box (and on the site). It will also be easier to roleplay than “oh my god, somehow we both got affixed to this swing!” which is not the sexiest scenario for entry-level kinksters.
Comfort
Having the ability to hook the cuffs right above my head was helpful, and it was more comfortable than when I tried attaching my arms up to the stand with the Screamer Leather Cuff Set. The placement of the attachment points is one of the biggest assets of this model. On the other hand, the very short chain between the ankle cuffs and the stirrups means that you’ll likely need to keep your knees bent for the cuff to reach, so keep that in mind if you have stiff joints.
Lastly, while I did find this swing comfortable, I wouldn’t want to spend all day in it. After a while, it did pinch my hips slightly. Since there is only one hook, the pressure pulls your hips up and can get uncomfortable.

The Fetish Fantasy Deluxe Door Swing
The Fetish Fantasy Deluxe Door Swing is a steal at just $54. However, you get what you pay for. The positions you can try in a door swing are minimal. On the other hand, this door swing is a cinch to bring on the road and makes a great traveling buddy.
The Wild Side Sex Swing
The Wild Side Sex Swing is a great budget option. It cost only $119, and I found it more comfortable than the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing. If you can afford to spend an extra $50, I would pair the Wild Side with the Screamer Leather Cuff Set ($99) for a more comfortable experience. It would be a bit more expensive than the $169 price tag of the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing, but I think the added comfort and convenience are worth it.
Keep in mind that the Wild Side doesn’t allow you to spin since it’s a dual hook.
Screamer Dual Hook Swing
The Screamer Dual Hook Swing is still the best of the best, in my opinion. It costs more (at $219, plus a $399 stand if you’ll be using one), but it’s worth every penny. It’s by far the most comfortable, meaning that, if you’re like me, you’ll get the most use out of it. It’s the only one that can make hours-long sex feel feasible in a swing. It is ultra-plush, has handles, stirrups, holds up to 300 lbs, and is super easy to adjust. It feels secure, and the dual hook setup means nothing pinches your hips.
If you can afford it, I think the Screamer Dual Hook Swing is better on all fronts. If you want to add some kink to your swing fun, I recommend purchasing the Screamer Leather Cuff Set to pair with it for $99 to get the very best experience. However, if you want to spin and spend as little as possible, the Fetish Fantasy Bondage Swing is a better purchase.
