Learning how to use the OBS toolset is a great way to enhance your webcam model experience on sites like Chaturbate, BongaCams, and StipChat. With this feature, you can easily integrate your Lovense toys into your OBS setup, allowing you to control your toys with just a few clicks. In this blog post, we will guide you guys through the process of installing the Lovense OBS Toolset and connecting your devices to it!
- To connect Lovense to OBS, first download and install OBS Studio version 22.0.0 or later on your computer.
- Then, download the Lovense OBS Toolset plugin and install it.
- Open OBS Studio and verify the installation by checking for “Lovense Video Feedback” in the source list.
- Set up Lovense for OBS by adding “Video Capture Device” to the sources section in OBS.
- Use the Lovense Connect app to pair your device and install the Lovense browser extension for customization.

Step 1. Downloading and Installing Necessary Tools
Download OBS Studio
First, you need to install OBS Studio (download here), which is free and open-source software for recording and live streaming. You can download it from the official page for Windows PC, Apple Mac, or Linux. Make sure to select the latest version for your operating system, which can be 32-bit or 64-bit.

Install OBS Studio
Once you have downloaded OBS Studio, you need to install it on your Windows or Macintosh computer. Follow the installation wizard (screenshot below) and accept the default setting unless you want specific preferences. After you have OBS Studio installed, you can launch it.
Download Lovense OBS Toolset
Next, please download the Lovense OBS Toolset from their download page right here, which is a plugin that allows you to link your toy to OBS Studio.
Install Lovense OBS Toolset
After you have downloaded the Lovense OBS Toolset, you need to install it on your Windows or Mac computer. Follow the installation wizard (screenshot below) and accept the default settings unless you have specific preferences. After the installation is complete, please note that you need to restart OBS Studio.
Verify Installation
To verify that you have the software installed correctly, you need to verify if the feedback source is available in OBS Studio. To do this, open OBS Studio and if you see “Lovense Video Feedback” in the source list, like in the image below, then the installation was successful.
Step 2. Setting Up Lovense for OBS
1. Open OBS Studio and add your web camera to the sources. Select the “+” icon and select “Video Capture Device” from the menu. This will allow you to display the video feedback from your toy on your OBS stream.
2. Afterwards it should look like the screenshot below with Lovense Video Feedback and the top and Video Capture Device at the bottom:
3. Open the Lovense Connect app on your smartphone or computer and turn on your toy(s). Make sure that your device is paired with them before proceeding.

4. Install the Lovense browser extension, which is available for Chrome. This extension will allow you to link your account to the toolset.
5. Login to your account from the extension. You can’t skip this step because this will enable you to access the widget, which you can use to customize your settings.
6. In the widget, you can adjust the settings for your toys, such as vibration intensity and pattern. You can also change the display setting for the Lovense Video Feedback, such as the size and position of the video.
7. Once you have customized your setting, you can start streaming on OBS and your toy(s) will be synced with your stream. Your viewers will be able to see the Lovense Video Feedback and interact with your toy(s) through the chat where they can leave a comment.
Step 3. Configuring Lovense Extension
1. Once you have installed the extension, open it by clicking on the Lovense icon in your browser. The extension will open in a new tab.
2. To pair your toy, tap on the “Connect” button in the Lovense menu. Follow the on-screen setup that links your toy.
3. Once you have connected your toy, you can configure their settings in the extension. The key is to make sure to save your setting by clicking on the “Save” button.
Step 4. Optimizing Lovense Configurations for OBS
Basic Level Setting
First, make sure you have the correct configuration enabled. In the Lovense Connect app, go to Settings > Advanced Settings and make sure “Use with OBS” is enabled. This will allow it to communicate with your toys.
Levels and Basic Levels
Next, you can adjust the vibration levels of your toys. In OBS, go to the toolset and click on the “Levels” tab. Here, you can adjust the vibration level of each toy. You can also adjust the “Basic Level” which is the minimum vibration level. This is useful when you want to keep the vibration going at a low level without having to manually adjust it.
Note: Numerous toys are accessible for use on camshow platforms, but the Lush 3 is particularly popular. To use the Lush 3 on your broadcast, you simply need to link it to your account using your web browser. Phone Configuration
If you’re using a phone to control your toys, make sure it’s connected to the same network as your computer. This will ensure that the toolset can communicate with your phone and your toys.
Tips and Test Tips
Finally, you can use tips to control your toys. In OBS, go to the Lovense OBS Toolset and click on the “Tips” tab. From there, you can set the duration and vibration level of each tip.

Troubleshooting Common Issues
Bluetooth Adapter Issues
If you’re using a Bluetooth adapter to pair your device to your Windows or Mac, the key is to make sure the adapter is properly configured and connected. Check that your Bluetooth adapter is compatible with your computer and your device.
If you use a built-in Bluetooth adapter, ensure it’s enabled in your computer’s configuration. This issue is important for those who try Lovense long-distance control as well.
OBS Not Detecting Your Lovense Device
If you noticed the toolset not detecting your Lovense toys, try the following steps:
- Make sure that your device is properly connected to your computer and turned on.
- Check that the Toolset is properly installed and configured. Follow the instructions provided by the vendor to install the toolset properly.
- Make sure that your device is selected as the audio and video source in OBS. You can do this by adding the “Lovense Video Feedback” to the sources in OBS.
- If you’re still having issues, try restarting the toolset or your desktop.
Fixing Audio and Video Issues
If you’re having issues with audio or video quality, try the following steps:
- Make sure that your device is properly positioned and oriented. Check that the microphone and camera are pointed in the right direction.
- Adjust the audio and video settings in the toolset to optimize the quality of your streaming videos. You can do this by adjusting the bitrate, resolution, and other configurations.
- If you’re still having issues with your stream, it’s important to note that you can try using a different USB port or cable to connect your device to your PC.
