In this step-by-step guide, we’ll walk you through the process of setting up your Lovense toys with BongaCams, pairing your toy with the platform, and troubleshooting common issues. Keep reading our guide to take your live camming shows to the next level!
Start by installing the Lovense Connect App on your computer and plugging in the Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter if you’re using a PC. Next, follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation and launch the app. To connect your toy, turn it on and click “Add Toy(s)” in the app to pair it. Then, download and unzip the Lovense Cam Extension for your browser, enable Developer Mode, and load the extension. Log in to the extension with your Lovense account, select “Connect By PC,” and your toy should be detected. Finally, add BongaCams as a new cam site in the Cam Extension and start streaming.

Step 1: Installing The Lovense Connect App
1. Install the Lovense Connect App on your computer, which you can download from the official website. You can see what it should look like in the screenshot below.
2. If you’re using a PC, you’ll need the Lovense USB Bluetooth adapter (image below), available for $5 on the Lovense website. Plug the adapter into a USB port on your PC and ensure that the small red light is blinking. Mac users, on the other hand, do not require a USB adapter.
3. Double-click the downloaded installation bundle and follow the on-screen instructions.
Step 2: Connect Your Toy To The Lovense Connect App
1. Double-click the Lovense Connect icon to open the program once the installation is complete. Turn your toy on by pressing the power button for 3 seconds until the light blinks red (as shown in the image below on the Lovense Ridge).
2. Click the “Add Toy(s)” button to search for your toy in the Connect App.
3. When the toy is found, the app interface will show what toys were discovered. It should look like this screenshot:
Pro tip: If you’re having difficulties connecting your toy to the app, restart the Bluetooth on your phone or the application on your computer.
Step 3. Set up the Connect App and Browser Extensions
1. Download the Lovense Cam Extension using this link. It will be in a zipped package. Once the download is complete, navigate to your download folder and locate the zip file—double-click on the file to unzip it. You may need a free unpacker like WinRAR for this step.
2. You should now see a folder named “lovense_cam_3098.” Open your preferred browser (such as Chrome) and click the three dots in the upper right corner. Select “Extensions” and then “Manage Extensions.”
3. Enable Developer Mode by toggling the switch in the upper right corner so it turns blue. Select “Load unpacked” on the left side and choose the “lovense_cam_3098” folder. The extension is now installed and should be visible in your browser’s extensions. It should look like the screenshot below:
Note: After you have installed the extension, I recommend disabling Developer Mode by sliding the switch to the left so it’s greyed out. You can also pin the extension for quicker access using the small pin icon.
4. Log in to the browser extension using your Lovense account details. Select Settings and then “Connect By PC” on the right side. This action should automatically detect and add your toy to the list.
Step 4. Connect The Cam Extension To BongaCams
1. Select “Add A New Cam Site” at the bottom of the Cam Extension screen.
2. Select BongaCams from the drop-down list. (You can see it in the screenshot below)
3. Choose “Use Lovense Recommended Settings” unless you want to configure the settings yourself.
4. Now, you’re good to go- when ready, click the “Stream” button and log in to your BongaCams account.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Internet Connection
The first thing to check is your internet connection. A stable and fast internet connection is crucial whether you want to broadcast yourself, play around with interactive videos, or just listen to music
If you’re experiencing connection issues during the above steps, try resetting your router or modem. You can also try using a different network to see if that solves the problem. If you’re using the remote application from a long distance, ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection.
Firmware
Make sure all your Lovense toys are running the latest firmware. You can check for updates in the Lovense Connect application. If an update is available, download and install it. QR Code
If you’re having trouble connecting your gadget to the application, try scanning the QR code on the gadget with your phone’s camera. This automatically opens the application and connects the toy.
