We agreed that I would be in charge of the writing, and he would take care of sharing all of his insights into whether or not this Lovense toy is the real thing. Below are the results of some incredibly fun experiments.

The packaging is nice enough for a gift, but it doesn’t scream special occasion. You won’t want to buy it just for the box—but the device inside will deliver something so unique that the box shouldn’t make or break your interest.
Material
The Gush is made from ABS plastic and body-safe silicone. It is mostly silicone, making for a silky-soft user experience. Only the Lovense nameplate is plastic, which is on the outside and won’t take any luxury away from your playtime.

Dimensions
The Gush is small enough to throw into a storage bag and bring on vacation. It’s about the size of your hand, rolled into a fist, and ready to masturbate.

The body has a flexible design, and it’s shaped like a slap bracelet—but don’t worry, you can put it on gently if penis slapping isn’t your thing. It expands and contracts, depending on your size. Battery Life and Charging
The user manual estimated that the Gush would take approximately 65 minutes to charge fully. When I tested it, it took just under an hour to charge.
The instruction manual also said that the Bluetooth glans massager would last up to 115 minutes after a full charge, with a standby mode time of up to 120 hours. When I tested the battery life, it lasted two hours and twenty-seven minutes on the first setting.
While charging, you’ll see an indicator light turn red. When it’s done charging, the light turns off.
Pro Tip: If the red light doesn’t immediately turn on, make sure you have the magnetic charging cable in the right spot.
Controls
The Gush couldn’t be easier to use. There’s only one button, which they’ve added a bit of texture to so that it’s easy to find. Press the button for three seconds to turn it on or off. Pressing it again will cycle you through the low, medium, and high settings and then the four preset vibration patterns.
Lovense Remote App
The Lovense Remote App is second to none. It allows you to give someone else control of the Gush, helping you to connect even from long distances.
But more than that, you can create and save ten of your own patterns, sync the toy with music, use it as an alarm, chat or video chat with your significant other while you play, and find patterns that other Lovense fans have made and enjoyed. My Personal Experience
My partner has used a few sleeve masturbators in his time, and they run the gamut from mind-blowing to merely tolerable. But we were cautiously optimistic since Lovense has had so many incredible toys in the past.
Ease Of Use
My partner realized the Gush could be slightly pinchy as soon as he placed it on his penis. The slap-bracelet shape means there’s a little gap between the two ends, and some penis skin can get pinched if you’re not careful. It’s good to go heavy on the lube when you start with this toy!
You can wear the Gush during penetrative sex, but you won’t be able to get as much depth. We both agreed it’s easiest to use during solo play. If you want to incorporate it into partnered play, try having the penis haver use it hands-free to help focus on their partner’s needs. They’ll enjoy how the Gush can enhance sensations and build up to a bigger orgasm.
The optional band was also fun to play around with. When you use sex toys like this one that are hands-free and meant for a penis, sometimes the band helps slightly with a tighter fit that can make or break the experience. Plus, it holds it in place, which can help those who use this toy while soft as it tends to flop around a little.
Speaking of using the Gush while soft, it works! You don’t have to get hard first, making this an excellent purchase for anyone with ED or PE. But since it is somewhat heavy, it’s easier to use if you start erect.
Pro Tip: Make sure you place the strap on either side of the button. Otherwise, switching up the sensations (without using the app) will be difficult.
