The Lovehoney Advanced Unisex Strap-On harness kit is an almost endlessly versatile strap-on and harness kit. A strap-on is made up of two things: a harness and a dildo. The O-ring that holds everything in place is usually a part of the harness. You wear the harness around your waist and connect the dildo to it before penetrating your partner.
The Lovehoney Advanced version comes with a machine washable harness, three O-rings for different sizes of dildos, and a 7” silicone dildo curved to pleasure prostates and G spot alike. It’s excellent for anyone who wants to penetrate their partner, regardless of their body and gender.

The Lovehoney packaging isn’t luxurious but it is more than adequate. It comes in a cardboard box—not the sturdiest kind, but it does the job. Once I opened the box, I found the harness and a dildo, along with two additional O-rings (image below). Nothing else was provided, but that kept the price affordable. The package is sufficient but not overly giftable.

Using the Lovehoney Advanced Unisex Strap-On is easy, but pegging is a little bit difficult until you get a feel for it, especially if you’re someone with a vulva.

My Personal Experience
There’s almost nothing I love more than a sex toy that works for every body, and the Lovehoney Strap-On is precisely that. Everyone has an anus; just about anyone could wear this kit for fun. It’s perfect for lesbians, trans, or nonbinary people who want to incorporate penetration, gay couples who want to try pegging, or anyone with erectile unpredictability or ED. It’s a versatile and inclusive toy, my favorite kind of sex aid. I was excited to try this version and see what I thought.
I’ve been using strap-on kits for years, since well before I became a sex toy tester. Pegging is fun! It’s a unique activity that helps turn the tables on routine penetration in a straight relationship and gives both parties a better feel for what the other person feels during sex. But it’s essential to be able to laugh at yourselves during sex. There are ample opportunities for things to go “wrong,” so it’s best when you’re with someone who doesn’t take sex too seriously. It’s also a good idea to adjust the straps before you begin so you don’t have to spend several minutes getting everything fine-tuned.
The biggest pitfall, for me, has been getting the right angle and rhythm so that the dildo stays in. Since I don’t have any sensation in the dildo, it can be hard to tell when something gets into a weird position or slips out of place.

Pro Tip: you have to find the sweet spot between precision and comfort. The tighter the strap-on fits, the quicker it will chafe. But the looser it is, the less accuracy you have and the more it will fall out. In the image below, I demonstrate how easily you can adjust the straps.
If the straps are too long and the dangling bothers you, feel free to cut them to fit for a more tailored look and feel. If you need a looser fit, be prepared to guide the dildo with your hands most of the time. Or, hear me out, you could also wear pants. It’s comfortable, and you can go for hours without chafing with total accuracy. With a few tweaks, these straps are shockingly comfortable!
My last tip is that if the pocket deadens the feeling of the vibration too much for the harness-wearer, try a panty vibe (while wearing underwear) instead. The buffer will be thinner, so you’ll feel the sensations more clearly.
Packaging
The packaging is minimal (image below), but that’s what you want with a toy like this—that’s how it stays in the budget category. Inside the cardboard box are the harness, the dildo, and two differently sized O-rings. That’s it! But that’s all you need, aside from some water-based lube.
Design
The design of this harness kit is excellent. It looks sturdy and well-made and feels natural once fitted correctly. There are plenty of harnesses for larger people, and smaller people could trim the straps to remove the extra length if desired. The ability to resize it makes this more inclusive, so I’m a fan of it.
Material
The material quality is excellent. My only qualm is that it could be softer, which might help prevent chafing.
Dimensions
The length of the harness straps is big enough to easily fit plus-size people, something that most strap-ons can’t say. Love that!
Ease Of Use
Strap-on sex isn’t necessarily the most straightforward activity, but this product makes it a lot simpler. It’s easy to use, considering it will take a little getting used to, especially if this is your first time. Since this kit doesn’t have a vibrator, there are no buttons or remotes to learn. Wearing the strap-on is intuitive.

Also, if you need a lot of vibration to get off, you might find the sensation of a bullet vibrator muted by the harness, so you may not get to have simultaneous orgasms with your partner.
Because of the three O-rings (circled in the image above), you can use a lot of different-sized dildos with this pegging harness. Remember that any dildo you use must have a flared base, or it won’t stay put.
Warranty and Support
You can return an item within 60 days of purchase to Lovehoney, and you don’t even have to pay shipping! If you’ve tried the toy and decided you don’t like it, they will give you a refund up to 100 days post-purchase. This warranty isn’t the best out there, but it’s still a decent option if you’re worried this isn’t the correct strap-on for you.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
The straps are good quality and should last a long time, but they aren’t the most comfortable to wear, especially if you’re engaging in extended pegging. They can start to rub a little bit. Further, after a lot of motion, it can come a little bit loose, and you’ll have to readjust the straps to get a tighter fit.
