Minor issues found during testing

Our main concern with the B-Vibe Rimming Plug is that there’s no option to control the vibrations and rimming separately. The rimming sensation can sometimes get lost in the sauce when the vibrations are on high, making it hard to pinpoint the sensation that makes this sex toy so unique.

It’s also worth mentioning that it’s splash-proof but not waterproof! Because of this, you cannot take it in the tub and should be careful not to submerge it when cleaning up. To be honest, not being able to fully submerge the rimming plug makes it a little difficult to clean.

The remote controller doesn’t let you control the motors separately, and the mobile app offers more capabilities, so we recommend using the latter.

The team rated the sensations on HUGO 2 as powerful and rumbly (my favorite). “People like my partner who dislike buzzy vibrations will be delighted by the maintained rumbles from the lowest to the highest standards,” our tester Angela Kempf wrote in her test report. “A combination of a powerful motor and consistently thuddy vibration patterns makes for the perfect cocktail for intense orgasms.”

We also appreciated that HUGO 2 had two motors for the perineum and prostate. The rumbles felt more impactful on the prostate end, but even the one targeting the perineum lining was more robust than your average vibrator. The best part about it is that the mobile application lets you regulate the vibrations independently for ultimate customization.

Pro Tip: While LELO HUGO Remote ticks all the boxes, it’s incompatible with the LELO app. You must buy HUGO 2 to enjoy the intuitive application. Unlike the remote control, you can hand over control to your lover from miles away. In addition, you can customize the sensations better and save your favorite patterns for later use.

Everything about the product’s build quality was a ‘chef’s kiss’. It felt flexible in the hands and cozy inside my partner’s backroom. The dimensions might not be ideal for a beginner, but intermediate and experienced folks will enjoy the challenge. We recommend building up with smaller models if you’re new to the experience.

The product is made from luxe silicone material paired with more rugged ABS plastic. Most people will notice the mirrorlike shin, but the most essential feature is the squishy feel that makes it ideal for extended wear. These body-safe materials are also waterproof and easy to clean after use, making the anal toy ideal for different users.

Surprisingly, the butt plug was considerably quieter for the power (37 – 57 dB), and it’s the remote that was noisier. It vibrates along the sex toy, which makes it not very discreet. Luckily, you can turn off the vibrations by pressing and holding the middle button for a few seconds.

Minor issues we found during testing:

Unfortunately, the remote control’s button orientation can be confusing, depending on how you hold it. Like everyone else, we had it upright, but the order of the buttons was plus, function, and then minus. This made it less intuitive as the side button increased the intensity while the bottom one reduced it, which is quite confusing if you ask me.

In addition, the elongated base design made it uncomfortable to sit on. However, you don’t have to worry much about this because it’s not designed for public play.

That being said, please note it’s a bigger toy and I would say it’s about medium size. Therefore, I believe it’s better for people who aren’t newbies but not size queens, either.

Minor issues found during testing

The deep rumbly bass vibrations were definitely my favorite, and I would have appreciated the option to pump up the bass while dialing down the treble. However, this wasn’t an option since you can’t operate them separately.

Using the remote to cycle through the treble and bass intensities was also lovely, but I found myself wishing that it controlled the vibration patterns too. Using this toy with my partner, I usually stuck to a single vibe setting to mitigate a possibly awkward setting change.

Since the remote isn’t waterproof, I had difficulty operating the flex in the tub. I was left to feel around for the buttons and accidentally turned the sex toy on and off more than once.

Something strange, though. The Vector wasn’t flexible when our testers tried it for the first time. But after playing with it and finding the joint, they found it to be very malleable and loved that it stays in whatever position you put it in. So I recommend keeping trying until you find what’s working for you.

The team rated the insertable length as perfect for beginners; overall, it’s not a huge size. If you’ve used a lot of prostate massagers, then you already know some toys take more foreplay than others to be truly comfortable. But we didn’t find that to be true with the Vector.

We also appreciated that the Vector comes with a remote and is also compatible with the We-Connect app, making it perfect for long-distance play. Other brands, take notes!

Minor issues found during testing

The weak spot in the design is the remote. The remote seems slightly mismatched and didn’t include many of the toy’s design elements.

Although we love the We-Connect app, the app wasn’t perfect. One tester felt it was slightly slow to respond and not very sensitive when using it. Connectivity was also an issue.

We also found Vector’s buttons hard to press while in use. Hence, changing the setting without the help of the remote or app usually resulted in the toy moving, which was frustrating when you had it positioned just right.

It’s also worth mentioning that the Vector won’t be a good fit for those who require a lot of power to get off. Its vibrations are on the buzzier side of the spectrum rather than rumbly, and if that’s important for you, you may need to buy another anal toy.
