Unbound BenderVersatile vibrators are my favorite type of sex toy. While it’s nice to have a large selection of toys to choose from, sometimes you just want something that can do it all! Want some G-spot stimulation, as well as clitoral stimulation? Yes, please! This made me very excited to test the flexible and versatile Unbound Bender.

4.6 out of 5 stars

Unbound Bender is a flexible vibrator you can use in several ways, allowing creativity in the bedroom. I really enjoyed using it, and it’s now a regular in my lineup of toys. It’s a definite go-to for day-to-day masturbation!

Who Should Try It? Unbound Bender is perfect for solo players who like to easily switch between clitoral and internal stimulation. It’s versatile and an ideal beginner model. And it’s also one of the most silent vibrators we’ve tested.

Who Can Skip It? Those without a clitoris or vagina or those who prefer anal stimulation. And please don’t use this toy in the anus, as it doesn’t have a flared base and could disappear inside you, requiring a trip to the hospital.

You Can Buy It at the official store for $71 and at Anthropologie for the same price.

First Impressions & Features

Packaging

The Unbound Bender came in a bright, well-designed box, which I enjoyed as it wasn’t too girly, and you could tell that a lot of attention went into designing the packaging. The box itself was also high-quality and felt like opening a new iPhone.

Once opened, the box contained the vibrator, magnetic USB charging cord, storage bag, and a user manual. The storage bag was a metallic silver, a pleasant surprise from the standard black found with many other vibrators.

Specification

The Unbound Bender’s features at a glance:

  • Material: Silicone
  • Size: 7 inches long, 3.5 inches circumference at the widest part, 2.5 inches circumference at the slimmest part
  • Color: Available in green and pink
  • Mechanism: Clitoral/ internal vibrator
  • Weight: 1.3 ounces

Material

On their website, Unbound states that the body of the vibe is made from “super-smooth body-safe silicone,” and they were not wrong! Just stroking the vibrator with your hand felt pleasurable.

Unbound Bender

As its name states, the Bender flexes to suit your needs. I was unable to find what material allows the body to bend, but having used it several times, I can say that it also feels very durable.

Dimensions

The Bender is 7 inches long, 3.5 inches in circumference at the widest part, and 2.5 inches in circumference at the slimmest part.

Unbound Bender with a ruler

This small circumference makes it ideal for partnered sex, as you can hold it on your clitoris while playing with your partner or insert it inside the vagina during penetration, from a penis or strap-on.

Design

The body is quite different from many other internal vibrators, which works to its advantage. The wide tip of the vibe makes it perfect for clitoral stimulation, while its flexible nature makes internal simulation a breeze.

Battery Life and Charging

The Unbound Bender comes with a magnetic USB charging cord but does not come with a charger. Like the rest of the product, the cord feels high quality, and as it’s magnetic, there are no ports on the body, just two tiny magnets that attach to the charging port. This design is genius, eliminating any crevices that bacteria love to hide out in.

The device charging

According to the manual, the Unbound Babes vibrator takes an hour to charge fully and runs for about two hours, depending on the type of use, which I think is a pretty good deal. It comes pre-charged out of the box, so there’s no waiting around!

I have had mine for a couple of months now and have only charged it once, and I use it ‌often.

Controls

The controls couldn’t be any simpler to use. There is only one button! This button turns the vibrator on and off and cycles through the ten different speeds and vibrations. To turn the device on, just hold down the button and then lightly press it to cycle through the settings. To turn it off, just hold down the button again!

Closeup of the controls and charging port

The button is at the bottom end of the sex toy and has the logo embossed on it, making it easy to find, even when you can’t see it or your mind is preoccupied with other things.

Warranty and Support

The Unbound Bender vibrator comes with a one-year warranty.

Cleaning

As the Unbound Bender is waterproof, it is simple to clean. Just wash with soap (unscented for vaginal health) and warm water, or use a sex toy cleaner. Although it’s waterproof, it’s best to steer clear of the dishwasher or boil it on the stove, as this may ruin the motor.

How To Use Unbound Bender?

After unboxing the vibrator, please give it a quick wash using soap and warm water. Although the Bender comes charged, you might want to pop it on the charger for a little bit or run the risk of having it die at a crucial moment.

Then grab some lube and lube up yourself and the toy, turn it on, and find the setting that feels good for you. What’s fun about this vibe is that you can also move the angle of the vibrator to suit you, which helps when stimulating the so-called G-spot.

This vibrator is small and flexible. Play around with it and get creative. There are a lot of orgasms to be had.

The Bender vibrator

My Personal Experience

Ease Of Use

I am a sexologist, and as you can imagine, I have a lot of sex toys. But the Unbound Bender is genuinely my toy of choice, particularly for day-to-day use, because it’s small, lightweight, and versatile.

There are four different speeds and six different vibrational patterns. Although the vibrator is ‌powerful, I didn’t find too much difference between the four speeds. There are quite a variety of vibrational patterns, but I am not a fan of edging or being teased, so they’re not for me.

You can tell that some thought went into the design of this vibrator. It is so easy to turn on and off and flick through the settings, even in the heat of the moment.

Sound Level

When turned on, the vibrations sound higher pitched than other similar vibrators. However, I turned it on and left the room and could not hear it, which is fantastic if you live with roommates or have little ears around.

Stimulations

The Unbound sex toy is very flexible, with the head of the vibrator being able to touch the tail! I found this helpful for internal self-stimulation as you can adjust the angle of the toy to your body.

I also used its flexibility during partnered play, as you can adjust the toy for clitoral stimulation to fit in some pretty tight situations. It’s handy if you’re after some clitoral stimulation during penetration when your partner is behind you. The only issue I have with the flexibility of the Bender is that I wish it could be slightly firmer, as it loses its shape if you use it vigorously.

How It Stacks Up Against Other Unbound Toys

Unbound has a variety of toys for people with vulvas and anuses.

Bender with Ollie and Gem

Unbound Ollie

The Ollie is a classic wand toy. This cordless vibrator packs a punch, and ‌it is a lot bigger and louder than the Bender. But, if your clitoris is looking for some intense power, then this is your toy. It’s made from silicone, and ABS is 12 inches long and costs $76.00.

Unbound Gem

If you’re into G-spot stimulators but want something more sturdy and straightforward, then the Gem may be a better option. Made of borosilicate glass, this dual-ended dildo can be used both vaginally and anally, with a much lower entry point of $35.00.

Alternatives to the Unbound Bender

Mystery Vibe Crescendo 2

The Mystery Vibe Crescendo 2 is quite similar to the Bender’s flexibility. However, unlike the Bender, this vibrator has six individually controlled motors making it even more versatile. The Crescendo 2 is more rigid than the Bender and has 12 vibration patterns and 16 intensity levels! It also comes with an app to control the vibrator remotely, but all this comes at the price of $183.00.

Dame Arc

Dame Arc

The Dame Arc differs slightly from the Pom and the Crescendo 2 as it lacks flexibility. However, like the Bender, it allows for both clitoral and G-spot stimulation. It features five speeds and five patterns, is made from silicone, and lasts for an hour and a half. The Arc will cost you $115.00. You can read our comprehensive Dame Arc review here.

I am Sold! Where Can I Buy It?
