Did you know that many women need direct clitoral stimulation to reach orgasm? That’s right, research shows that around 37% highlighted its importance for a satisfying sexual experience. With that in mind, a high-quality clitoral vibrator can make a big difference.
After reviewing 24 of the most popular models on the market, we firmly believe that the best clit vibrator is LELO LILY 3. Its soft silicone exterior, gently concave tip, range of vibration patterns, and waterproof design outperformed the competition. The compact shape makes it easy to use during foreplay, solo play, or intercourse, and its impressive battery life (well over four hours on a single USB charge) makes it very convenient. It’s discreet, versatile, and exceptionally well-made.
Test Winner: LELO LILY 3
LELO LILY 3 received the highest ratings in our review. Our testers praised the body-safe silicone, the clitoris-targeting concave tip, multiple vibrations, and the waterproof design, all of which were better than the competition.

Why You Should Trust Us
Hi, I am Rachel Sommer, the author of this article. I first started using sex toys when I heard about them on a Sex and the City episode, and over the last 15 years, I have tried everything the market has to offer. Since I travel often, clitoral vibes have become a favorite since they are so travel-friendly and perfect for that quick orgasm in a hotel room.
For this article, I interviewed peers, sex toy educators, and regular forum users. In addition, the test team (Yours truly, Sandra Larson, and Angela Kempf) spent hours testing each device to ensure my review was as honest and unbiased as possible. You’re in safe hands!
How We Picked The Products
I preselected 32 clitoral vibrators for this article. Besides prioritizing those made from body-safe materials, I drafted a list of test criteria that we could measure on a scale from 0 to 100. I then distributed the products to the testers, advising them to use the checklist when reviewing the different aspects of every device. These criteria included the following:
- Design. I encouraged the team to include a wide range of designs, highlighting how each shape plays a role in meeting different sexual preferences and needs. After all, design directly impacts how the toy feels in the hand and how well it delivers during use.
- Versatility. While we focused on each device’s clitoral stimulation effectiveness, we prioritized models that could do more than what was advertised. Features like a flexible tip that could be used on different body parts and dual-stimulation toys got more attention when ranking our favorite models.
- Settings. As always, the clit vibrators with the most settings were favorites. We prioritized products that appealed to the most users, regardless of experience and gender.
- Stimulations. Away from the traditional vibration patterns, I ensured that we included clitoral vibrators with unique sensations like suction waves and patented technologies like Smart Silence.
- Sound level. Unfortunately, very few products fit in the whisper-quiet umbrella. With this in mind, we tried our utmost to provide a list with varying noise levels to meet the ever-changing needs of the sex toy market. Spoiler alert: Next won this category in a landslide.
- Battery Life. Another essential aspect we considered was power. Besides reviewing rechargeable models, I ensured the battery life to charging time ratio was practical.
- Special Features. Although there weren’t many, I handpicked product samples with extra features, such as dedicated mobile apps, remote controls, and independently controlled motors.
During testing, we rated each test criterion on a percentage scale from 0% (Worst) to 100% (Best). We then calculated the overall score using different weighted metrics depending on the importance of the test criteria. Half the total rating comes from Stimulations (25%) and Design (25%). After that come Settings (10%), Build Quality (10%), and Versatility (10%).
After a 38-day testing period, the team presented their findings, and I brought in a few trusted colleagues to help analyze the data. We began by grouping the top-performing models, then cross-referenced our results with feedback from forums and retailers to narrow down the final list. After a focused 28-hour review session, we’re confident these are the best clitoral vibrators of the year.
Everything We Tested
In this chapter, you can see a comparison table with all the products we tested. As you can see, each row has the test criteria our team used during the testing. To make our testing process even more transparent, we also included the raw test data so you can see how the products performed with each test criterion.

1. LELO LILY 3: Our Overall Test Winner!
Why we love LELO LILY 3:
LELO LILY 3 outperformed the other review samples, primarily because of its powerful motor. The first setting was more powerful than anticipated, and the gradual increase in intensity and consistency laid the foundation for intense orgasms. It was also priced more affordably than the other premium models, striking a good balance between elegance and functionality. In addition, the timeless, classic shape made it stand out as one of the few pieces that won’t go out of fashion anytime soon.
Design-wise, the team pointed out how lightweight the 3rd generation model felt. “A lightweight upgrade can mean two things. It’s either that the designer used a lighter motor that still rumbles or that the vibrations are as lightweight as the motor,” says Angela Kempf. “Luckily, the former was true, and the compact size and light structure didn’t come at the expense of the stimulation.”
The gorgeous, well-designed body included an overall slim shape, making it easy to slip between bodies during sex. Its pointed tip (image above) made it easy to target specific spots on the clitoris for precise external stimulation. More importantly, the compact size also simplified handling, making it easy to use the piece whether playing solo or with a loved one. Our only concern with the design was the button placement on the bottom of the clit vibrator. The positioning made it a bit tricky to get to the buttons when angling the edge into the clitoris.
The team thought the quality of stimulation was better than anticipated. The first setting was rumbly, which is always a welcome surprise because you know the rest will be even more powerful. As expected, the rumbles got more intense with each successive setting, and what were gentle vibrations quickly morphed into powerful rumbles. In addition, the well-measured gliding feeling of the stimulations ensured a smooth transition of the vibration patterns, avoiding the annoying stair-step increase or decrease. Please note that once you turn on the clit vibrator, it jumps to the middle range of intensity, and you must adjust the setting with either of the buttons on the left or right.
As mentioned before, the user experience was straightforward thanks to the lightweight body and straightforward 2-button interface. You won’t need a manual to use LILY 3, and its slimline body means even couples could slip it between their bodies during sex. The sex toy is also waterproof, making it easy to clean after use.
Although we tested more versatile products for the article, LELO LILY 3 held its ground, and the team awarded it a 57% score. According to Rachel Sommer, the waterproof design meant users could enjoy fun in the shower or bath. In addition, the compact size made it ideal for travel, while its flat shape allowed couples to slip it between their bodies during partnered sex.
The device is made from silicone-coated plastic, giving it a cozy finish that lets users indulge for extended sessions without discomfort. Although we’d have loved an all-silicone body, the plastic core gave it a lightweight feel that simplifies the user experience. Unfortunately, the slippery body and small size made things a little slippery when lube was involved, making it slightly difficult to grip the sex toy.
Finally, the decibel reading ranged from 37 to 40, which is comparatively quiet. Although it got louder when pushed against a hard surface like a hardwood floor, it got quieter between the thighs and under the covers.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The small size and plastic body make for a slippery mess. We recommend going easy on the lube because grip was difficult with the size and slippery finish.
Why LELO LILY 3 is the best clitoral vibrator:
- Stimulations: With a whopping 10 vibration settings ranging from a teasing murmur to intense pulsation, the clit stimulator provided an avenue for different users to explore external stimulation. Although the testers were skeptical about the lightweight motor, we found the vibrations more powerful than anticipated. The first setting was rumblier than expected, and the well-measured gliding feeling of the stimulations promoted smooth transitions between the vibration modes, laying the foundation for a more fulfilling experience.
- Design: Our testers highlighted how the lightweight and compact model made it stand out. It simplified handling for different users and made it easy to travel with the clit stimulator. The flat shape meant couples could slip it between their bodies for intense partnered sex. Although the button placement could be better, the foolproof 2-button set-up meant even first-time users wouldn’t need a manual.
- Ease of Use: The team pointed out the inconsiderate button positioning on the bottom of the clitoral vibrator. It took some digging to get to the buttons when angling the edge into the clitoris, but the foolproof 2-button set-up made it easy to navigate. More importantly, the waterproof design simplified cleaning, and the slim shape made it easy to slide the piece between bodies for intense partnered sex.

2. Magic Wand Micro: Our Budget Pick!
Why we love Magic Wand Micro:
The Magic Wand Micro is the ideal choice for budget seekers looking for a robust and reliable clit stimulator, with a sufficient buzz to complement solo and partnered sex. Rachel Sommer calls it the little magician, and it doesn’t take long to see why she loves it. For starters, it only costs $79.99, making it more affordable than the other wand vibrators we tested. Despite its competitive pricing, the team found the build quality to be solid and the vibrations to be powerful enough to get you over the edge.
The Micro Wand lets users who’ve always dreamt of experiencing the powerful rage of the original Magic Wand enjoy the bliss without having to spend $200. For less than 40% of the price, the team found the device relatively powerful, offering three speeds and four customizable patterns to choose from. In addition, its considerably smaller size enhanced the user experience and made it easier to slip it between bodies during sex.
Although the Micro Wand was a small step back in power compared to other wand vibrators we tested, we found the sensations more impactful than all bullet vibes in the collection. Notably, the vibrations were on the rumblier side, making it ideal for users who despise the sharp, often annoying buzzing vibrations. Sandra Larson described it as incredibly powerful for its size. “For a sex toy I can comfortably hide with my fingers, the rumbly vibrations, especially the lower two settings, made for implosive orgasms.”
The little magician’s design draws inspiration from the iconic Magic Wand. Although a bit outdated, our testers described it as straightforward to use. “Everything from the squishy head to the flexible neck and ergonomic body with easy-to-reach buttons enhanced the user experience,” says Rachel Sommer. “Its two-button interface (image below) made it foolproof, allowing even those using a wand for the first time to turn it on and cycle through the patterns without a fuss.”
Note: As anticipated, the tiny clit stimulator’s size meant the bark wasn’t more than its bite. During testing, the decibel readings ranged between 36 and 46, which is considered quiet.
The Micro Magic Wand’s build quality was rated as above average. Unlike the original wand, the head was made from non-porous silicone material, making it more durable and hygienic. Like the iconic predecessor, the plastic body felt solid in the hands, and our testers were quick to point out how easy it was to wipe off dirt and body fluids from it.
Versatility-wise, its small body (4.5″ long) significantly simplified the user experience. Unless you have massive fingers, you’ll find the device very easy to hold and manipulate during use. In addition, the dimensions meant it fit in the pocket or purse, making it ideal for travel. You won’t enjoy internal stimulation with it, but the small size and rumbly vibrations made it perfect for solo use, partnered sex, and teasing fun on the nipples, inner thighs, or your partner’s balls.
Good Alternative #1: Magic Wand Mini
Magic Wand Mini is a decent option for those who love the compact size of the micro wand but want a bit more power. Although the model has three patterns and speeds like the micro, the vibrations felt slightly rumblier and stronger. Our testers found the vibrations more wholesome and ideal for people seeking intense, full-body sensations.
Good Alternative #2: Desire Luxury
Desire Luxury was voted as the best alternative for users looking for a more compact design by the team. Its pebble-shaped body felt cozy in the hands, making it easier to hold and maneuver during usage. In addition, the testers thought its small size made it easy to slide between bodies during partnered sex for more intense stimulation.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the device lacked a travel lock feature, so you need to be careful not to accidentally turn it on mid-flight.
In addition, its small dimensions meant it was incompatible with attachments that are available for other Magic Wands.
Why Magic Wand Micro is our budget pick:
- Price: Magic Wand Micro’s $79.99 price tag strikes the perfect balance of power and value. For comparison, the original wand goes for $199.99, making the mini one a massive bargain. Of course, the power is comparatively lower, but it still offers a robust rumble that’ll have you giggling like a piglet. Everything from the resourceful compact size, high-quality silicone head, and phenomenal build quality made the adult toy an excellent value for money.
- Stimulation: While the Magic Wand Micro wasn’t as mighty as the original wand, the team thought it outdid other clit vibrators in the article. Despite its small size, the robust motor churned out four vibration patterns and three speeds, offering an exciting range of sensations. The reviewers highlighted how the lower speeds were rumblier than the higher speeds, providing a great mix of fun for different users. More importantly, we loved the straightforward 2-button control pad because it simplified handling.
If you want to see what Magic Wand Micro looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:

Pros:
- The cheapest wand vibrator.
- It offers excellent value for money.
- Exciting range of sensations.
- Impressive one-year warranty.
- Phenomenal build quality.
- It’s comparatively quiet.
Cons:
- You can’t use it in water.
- It’s not compatible with Magic Wand attachments.
3. We-Vibe Moxie+: App-Controlled!
Why we love We-Vibe Moxie+:
Among the clit vibrators we tested, the We-Vibe Moxie+ stood out as the best app-controlled product. Although the Lovense Remote app is still the #1 sex toy application in the industry, we thought Moxie+ delivered a better experience than the Lovense products (like Ferri).
Overall, using the clit vibrator was fairly easy with or without the mobile application. The testers appreciated that it came with a single button because it made it straightforward to use. “Even a first-time user will find the user experience straightforward,” says Rachel Sommer.
Unlike the solo button interface, the mobile app gives you more control over the vibrations. Our testers found the application offered numerous ways to customize the experience, including creating new patterns and syncing the sensations to your favorite music. “My partner and I tried the music sync feature, and it worked like a charm,” confirms Rachel. “Our only advice is to prioritize high-pitch music because the sharper audio spikes translate into noticeable vibration changes.”
Something else that made the compatibility with the We-Vibe app helpful was how it complemented partnered sex. The team highlighted how easy it was to hand over the control to their partners, whether in the same room or halfway across the globe.
We reviewed numerous wearable vibes, and Moxie+ outdid them because of its unique shape that stayed in place for longer without you needing to position it repeatedly. During testing, the team found the soft ridge and upward angling helpful because they made it easy to reach the clitoris. The sharp tip also enhanced precision, making it easier to target specific spots on the clitoris.
The team also highlighted how the magnetic clip came in handy, helping the tiny toy stay in place. “It clung onto the panty so you don’t have to keep repositioning it during use,” affirms Sandra Larson. “It also came with two magnetic clips so that you’re not stranded if you misplace it.” (You can see me demonstrate the magnetic clip in the above image.)
We didn’t expect much power from the tiny clitoral vibrator, but it proved quite powerful for its size. Sure, they weren’t as robust as a wand vibrator, but the team loved the mild buzz on the clitoris. The team also loved the multiple patterns and scenarios, including the ability to sample dozens of settings set up by other We-Vibe users.
Versatility-wise, the model got a 91% rating, only because you can’t use it for penetrative sex. The team was excited to test it for public play or as a bullet vibe, and it delivered on both fronts. Everything from its waterproof design to the mobile app connectivity and compact size made it suitable for multiple scenarios, including solo play and partnered sex.
Lastly, we found the build quality to be impressive, thanks to the choice of materials and design language. Its simplistic shape with minimal seams greatly simplified cleaning and allowed for underwater usage. Its body-safe silicone material felt elegant, allowing for a cozy experience even when worn for extended sessions.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the sex toy costs almost $150, which most people will find too expensive. Check out some of the alternatives in our best vibrating panties roundup.
In addition, the soft ridge that angles up might be ideal for precision, but people seeking broad external stimulation will not love it that much.
Why We-Vibe Moxie+ is the best app-controlled clit vibrator:
- Special Features: We-Vibe Moxie+’s compatibility with the We-Vibe app made it more than a one-trick pony. Our testers found the app straightforward, thanks to its intuitive interface, which made it easy to regulate the vibration patterns. In addition, we found unique features like music sync an upgrade because they fostered a more hands-free approach. The mobile app also made it easy to hand over control to a loved one in the same room or miles away, enhancing partner play.
- Build Quality: The reviewers found the build quality very good. Everything from the choice of materials to the smooth, seamless finish made Moxie+ shine. The silicone felt soft and elegant, allowing for cozy extended wear. Its waterproof design also opened the door for thrilling aquatic fun. More importantly, the compact size was found to be resourceful, simplifying the user experience and making the sex toy travel-friendly.
If you want to see what We-Vibe Moxie+ looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Dimensions: 3.35″ x .91″ x 1.06″
Pros:
- Easy-to-use We-Vibe mobile app.
- It’s a versatile clit stimulator.
- A compact design.
- Soft and elegant silicone finish.
- Impressive two-year warranty.
- Phenomenal build quality.
Cons:
- It’s pricey – $149.
- The vibe is not ideal for broad external stimulation.
4. Womanizer Vibe: Quietest!
Why we love the Womanizer Vibe:
The Womanizer Vibe is the quietest vibrator I own. Full stop. During testing, it clocked under 40 decibels even when cranked to the maximum. I don’t need a whisper-quiet sex toy because I live with my partner with no other roommates, but I can imagine how the quiet humming can come in handy for people living in a shared space.
“It bites more than it barks, and I had to place my finger on the tip a few times during testing to confirm it was still on,” says Angela Kempf. “Most of its competitors will need low-volume music to mask the humming noise at the highest settings, but a comforter does it for the Womanizer Vibe.”
Want more proof? During battery life testing, we had to place the vibe in the pocket to feel it shut off. Even when seated next to me, my partner couldn’t hear the vibrations, which speaks to the impressive quietness. Just wow.
Besides the quiet demeanor, the team loved the Womanizer Vibe’s design. Our testers noted the pleasure edges helped dig into specific points of the clitoris for pinpoint accuracy. We also noted the asymmetrical shape that allowed the user to turn the sex toy on its back for broader sensations.
During testing, we found out you’ll need more effort to maintain the vibe’s position when lying on its backside. In addition, the vibrations weren’t transferred as well through the back side, and you must use a higher intensity to get a similar experience as you would with the front side on low intensity.
At the heart of the quiet vibrations was the UltraWave technology. The website described it as richer, softer, and more silent than regular vibrations, and I couldn’t wait to test it out. Fortunately, it lived up to the hype, and the testers described it as a smooth flight devoid of any turbulence. According to Rachel Sommer, it almost felt like suction waves, with a smoother glide that did away with the usual mechanical clanking.
Something else we noted during testing was the Autopilot mode. The three modes offered a surprising tale of thrill, churning out different intensities hands-free. As anticipated, the three patterns switched from a slow burn to a blend of pulsing waves and electrifying chaos without warning. “I enjoy being in control of the sensations, but the random rumbles with the press of a button were satisfying,” confirms Sandra Larson.
Like other Womanizer toys, the build quality was impressive. The team described it as expertly assembled, and although the dimensions were a bit larger than other clit vibrators in our vast collection, handling was relatively straightforward. The body felt sturdy, which was a positive because you might have to lie on it. During testing, the vibe also felt firm and was wide enough to cling to the clitoris once positioned in a specific spot.
Good Alternative: We-Vibe Wand 2
We-Vibe Wand 2 is a good option for consumers looking for a more powerful yet quiet clitoral vibrator. Our testers noted a steady flow of low-frequency, rumbly vibrations with minimal mechanical noise. Although it’s the most powerful cordless wand vibrator, we were surprised at how quiet it sounded. In addition, the smart silence technology ensures the pleasure toy only comes alive when in contact with the skin, enhancing discretion.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Our primary concern was the lack of a mobile app or remote control. We thought it limited the possibilities of using the toy as a lay-on vibrator.
Why the Womanizer Vibe is the quietest:
- Design: Womanizer Vibe’s UltraWave vibrations felt smoother and quieter compared to regular vibrations. During testing, we found the sensations almost silent, and the testers had to place a finger on the tip to confirm the device was still on. The website describes the vibrations as an up-and-down pulsing mechanism with minimal mechanical movements. The reviewers also attributed the discretion to the all-silicone body because it helped dampen the noise.
- Stimulation: Something else that stood out was the robust motor. Despite its small size, the vibrations were more powerful than anticipated. The three autopilot modes offer a hands-free route to self-pleasuring, randomly churning out a mix of slow murmurs and chaotic rumbles. Notably, the vibrations leaned more towards the rumbly side, making the sex toy more ideal for people who find sharp, buzzy sensations uncomfortable.
If you want to see what the Womanizer Vibe looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone, ABS Plastic
- Size: 5.6″ x 1.9″ x 2.1″
Pros:
- Quieter, richer vibrations.
- A cozy all-silicone body.
- Multiple autopilot modes.
- Impressive build quality.
- It has a five-year warranty.
Cons:
- It doesn’t have a remote control or a mobile app.
5. LELO Sona 3 Cruise: Best Clit Sucker!
Why we love LELO Sona 3 Cruise:
Among the clitoral suckers we tested, LELO Sona 3 Cruise stood out because of its impressive range that allows for different users to experiment with numerous sensations. Our testers highlighted how the twelve settings made the sex toy ideal for both beginners and experienced users, as they could tailor the ideal rhythm to their desired level of stimulation and experience. “It came with ten pre-programmed patterns and two extra on the app,” our product test lead, Sandra Larson, wrote in her test report. “The extensive range and unique suction technology made the sensations more indulgent yet gentle on the clitoris.”
Something else we picked up during testing was the array of new technologies, including SmoothRise, a new feature that ditches the traditional rigid intensity levels for the smoother glide that felt more like an escalator than a staircase. “I noticed the difference right away because Sona 3 Cruise’s suction waves felt almost too gentle for me,” says Rachel Sommer. “I’d imagine people who enjoy thuddy, intense vibrations will not like it, but if you have a sensitive clit like me, nothing beats the soft transition from one level to the next.”
Although sensonic technology is a fancy name for suction waves, it felt more 3D than the typical clit suckers we have tested over the years. Of course, the small nozzle didn’t help because it covered small sections of the clitoris, but the team found the stimulation more fulfilling.
Other technologies employed by LELO included the Cruise Control. Like everyone else, I love pressing the toy against the clitoris when I’m about to climax. Unfortunately, most vibrators tend to dampen or stall with the extra force, beating the logic of pushing it against the vulva. For the LELO Sona 3 Cruise, it maintained the intensity throughout the session even when pushed to the limit, which was a plus for me. Nice work, LELO!
The team found its compatibility with the LELO app significantly simplified the user experience and opened the world to more possibilities, including enhanced solo and partnered play. They highlighted the intuitive interface and straightforward homepage that made it easy to navigate through the different pleasure options. Even when we tested it over long distances, the connectivity was splendid without any breaks or lags.
The design was rated as “elegant”, with the all-silicone body and relatively lightweight structure making it easy to control the angles. Unlike other review samples on this list, you won’t need to switch hands, and you can comfortably use it with one hand for extended periods. My colleagues thought the silhouette shape simplified handling, making it easy to direct the soft nozzle to the clitoris seamlessly.
Good Alternative: Womanizer Enhance
Womanizer Enhance is a hybrid clit vibrator offering both suction waves and traditional vibration patterns. It combines deep rumbly vibrations with non-contact pulsation targeting the external clitoral head and the area surrounding the vulva for more 3D sensations. The testers loved the multiple sensations because they allowed for a more customized experience depending on your sexual desires and experience.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The primary concern was the price. LELO Sona 3 Cruise costs $179, which most people will find to be expensive. If you’re willing to give up Cruise Control for a $30 discount, the LELO Sona 3 is a good alternative.
We also found the one-size nozzle a bit disappointing, considering we don’t have the same clit size and shape. Interchangeable nozzles would have been a great idea to make the model ideal for different users.
Why LELO Sona 3 Cruise is the best clit sucker:
- Stimulations: LELO’s sensonic technology might be another jargon by the marketing team, but the smooth suction waves stimulated the clitoris without overstimulating it. Our testers loved the well-measured suction control, describing it as the perfect blend of intensity and indulgence. More importantly, the multiple suction settings made it easy to customize the experience, leading to more satisfying orgasms. We also loved the smooth transition between intensities and the Cruise Control technology that prevented the motor from crumbling under pressure.
- Ease of Use: Its compatibility with the LELO app made it easy to regulate the suction waves without halting the experience. Couples can enjoy the seamless suction, teasing each other with the multiple pleasure options on the app. We thought the app’s intuitive interface and straightforward homepage made it easy for everyone, including newbies, to make the most of the new experience.
If you want to see what LELO SONA 3 Cruise looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone, ABS Plastic
- Size 4.41 x 2 x 2.17”
Pros:
- Well-measured clit suction waves.
- Smooth transition between intensity levels.
- Resourceful cruise control technology.
- A compact and easy-to-use clit vibrator.
- Convenient LELO mobile app.
Cons:
- SONA 3 is pricey – $179.99.
- Its small nozzle won’t work for everyone.
6. Dame Pom: Most Ergonomic!
Why we love Dame Pom:
Dame Pom’s intuitive shape and flexible body were the primary reasons why our testers picked it as the most ergonomic clit vibrator. The palm-friendly, pebble-like shape fits snugly in the palm, and it almost feels like a part of the hand. Unlike other compact clit vibes we tested, there were no weird angles or handles, making it easier to use on the vulva. We also thought its ambidextrous shape came in handy because it allowed right and left-handed users to make the most of the experience.
Our testers also pointed out why the small, flat design made it easy to slide the toy between bodies during sex, adding much-needed buzzing to the experience. “I found it easiest to use Pom during missionary and spooning sex positions,” says Sandra Larson. “My husband said these positions gave him more control, making it easy to keep the vibrator in place.”
Something else about the design that stood out was the unique shape with a sharp beak on the front and a wider backside (you can see the two sides in the two images above and below). During testing, the team praised the design because it made it easy to switch between pinpoint and broad stimulation.
For such a small clit vibrator, we were surprised at the intensity. Although it isn’t the most powerful device in the article, it packs a punch with multiple buzzing sensations. People with super-sensitive clits might find the buzzing a bit uncomfortable. Still, if that’s not a problem for you, the five intensity levels deliver sufficient pressure to the right spot. It might not get you over the edge on its own, but it feels incredible when paired with other toys like dildos or penetrative sex for couples.
We found handling straightforward, thanks to the easy-to-push buttons. The two-button interface made it easy to turn the toy on and cycle through the five intensity settings. Overall, there’s not much to write about the interface, but it’s basically foolproof, and anyone can use it without needing a manual.
Lastly, we thought the build quality was very good because of the all-silicone body. It felt smooth on the hands and the clitoris. More importantly, the testers loved the waterproof design and smooth finish because it simplified cleaning and made Pom ideal for aquatic play.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the vibrations leaned more towards the buzzy side, which might make it uncomfortable for people with a sensitive clit.
Why Dame Pom is the most ergonomic:
- Design: Among the models we tested, Dame Pom’s came out on top as the most ergonomic piece, thanks to its intuitive shape and flexible body. My colleagues loved the pebble-shaped design because it was comfortable to hold in the hands, making it easy to control the angles. More importantly, the unique shape with a pointed beak on one side and a flat surface on the other allows you to switch between pinpoint and broad stimulation.
- Versatility: Something else that stood out during testing was dynamic design. Unlike other compact clit vibrators we tested, the model offered numerous play options for solo users and couples. The small, flat shape slips between bodies easily during partnered sex, adding vibrations to the experience. Additionally, the waterproof design simplified cleaning and made the toy ideal for aquatic play.

- Material: Silicone
- Size: 3.25″ x 2.2″ x 1.2″
Pros:
- Intuitive shape & flexible body.
- Multiple vibration patterns.
- Impressive versatility.
- Easy-to-use interface.
- Ideal for solo play and couples.
Cons:
- The higher settings can be loud.
7. LELO Soraya Wave: Dual Stimulation!
Why we love LELO Soraya Wave:
LELO Soraya Wave stood out among the review samples because of its dual sensations design, featuring a probing arm for internal stimulation and a tickling outer arm for clit stimulation. We were surprised by the precision on both ends, with our testers highlighting how the slim, curved shaft simplified insertion and aligned with the body, ensuring it stays in contact with the G-spot for most of the time, thus avoiding loss of stimulation. We thought the clit stimulator, although light, clung onto the vulva with minimal effort, delivering the smooth vibrations for intense internal and external stimulation.
We tested four different dual stimulation products for this article, with most of them turning out to be more of a headache to capture the G-spot and clitoris simultaneously. Our testers pointed out that Soraya Wave must have been designed by someone who loved the feeling of internal and external orgasms. “There’s no sex toy that’ll fit everyone, but our testers all made it clear that the dual-stimulation model got things tight, landing on both sweet spots with minimal effort.
Something else that made the rabbit vibrator even more likable was the WaveMotion technology. Unlike other internal stimulation models we tested, Soraya Wave’s internal prober rises and falls in a rhythmic pattern to mimic fingering motion. We weren’t sure what to expect during testing, but we’re glad to report that the new technology exceeded our expectations. According to Rachel Sommer, the finger-led stimulation increased the surface area covered during usage, making it easy to land on the G-spot.
The clitoral vibrations also felt great—nothing special, but regular vibrations on the vulva to complement the fingering motion on the G-spot. Unlike the fingering, we found the adjustable speed of the vibrations more helpful because it made it easy to customize external stimulation.
Handling-wise, the team loved the loop handle because it made it easy to regulate the angle and position of penetration without much effort. The enhanced grip gave the user more control, while the internal prober’s rounded, smooth head simplified penetration. During testing, we found the three-button interface easy to use, even for a first-timer.
Our only concern with the user interface was that there was no way to control the G-spot stimulator and clitoral arm separately. Although there are settings that turn off the G-spot probing and clit stimulation, there is no way to regulate the speed of the finger-led motion.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The team pointed out that one area where the toy fell short was the squeaky noise that almost sounded like the whir and whine of a dentist’s chair.
People who must have total control over the experience will also not like that there isn’t a way to regulate the G-spot and clitoral arms separately.
Why LELO Soraya Wave is the highest-rated for dual stimulation:
- Design: LELO Soraya Wave’s dual sensation design with an internal probing arm and clitoral hugging pony made it ideal for double stimulation fans. Unlike the other products we tested for the category, our testers praised its unique finger-like movements on the G-spot arm, ditching the traditional vibrations. “The finger-led motion mimicked fingering, and Jessica and I found it much easier to stimulate the sensitive G-spot zone inside,” says Rachel Sommer. “Although there wasn’t a way to regulate the speed, the fingering was more effortless and successful in tickling the zone.”
- Stimulation: The team also highlighted the multiple settings on the clitoral arm, with up to eight to choose from. While we came across models with more, the range offered an opportunity for pleasure seekers to customize the sessions. We especially loved that some of the settings turned off the wave motion and clitoral vibrations, giving the user more control.

- It has a cozy silicone and ABS plastic body.
Cons:
- Soraya Wave can be loud.
- It’s pricey – $249 – $269.
8. Magic Wand Plus: Most Powerful!
Why we love Magic Wand Plus:
The Magic Wand Plus has been primed as the Queen of all sex toys, and we couldn’t wait to have a go. Our testers got down to work testing the motor and comparing it to other wand vibrators to see if it lived up to the hype.
During testing, the model clocked 6,300 rotations per minute, which was 300 more than the original Magic Wand. Although not many people will ever get to use its full power, there is no arguing about its position as the most powerful clit vibrator. We found the vibrations deep and rumbly, with the only close competition being the OG model.
On the website, the Magic Wand Plus and the Rechargeable model are said to clock the same 6,300 RPM. However, having tested both, the team concluded the former felt heartier and more wholesome. “It’s hard to pinpoint the difference in power between the two, but my partner and I found the Wand Plus more satisfying,” says Rachel Sommer. “I don’t know if it’s because it’s plug and play and offers consistent power without any downtime, but it felt more powerful.”
Something else the team highlighted was the multiple vibration patterns. Unlike the two-speed original wand vibrator, it has four different settings, which we found made it easier to customize the sessions. You don’t have to be the most experienced clitoral stimulation fan because you can always start with the more moderate settings. Although the lowest settings clock about 2,700 RPM, this doesn’t necessarily make it beginner-friendly. Even at the lowest settings, the vibrations felt intense, and you might have to use it with underwear to muffle the rumble.
Unfortunately, Magic Wand has stuck to the same design, and it would do with an upgrade. All their wand vibes look like something stuck in the ’70s. Of course, the Plus model has a sleeker body, but it’s not the most aesthetic toy in my collection. However, we loved that the new model featured a removable charging cord to simplify storage.
Handling was another positive feature we noted. Magic Wand Plus’s three-button interface lets you turn it on and off as well as cycle through the four settings. According to our testers, you don’t need to be an experienced clit stimulation fan, nor will you need a manual. The simplistic interface and well-labeled buttons make it one of those sex toys you can buy, clean, and use in an instant. Unfortunately, the non-waterproof design means no aquatic fun and also complicates cleaning.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the model is fairly pricey and doesn’t come with a storage bag. The price ranges between $104 and $119, and not everyone will be looking forward to spending such an amount on a ‘not so versatile’ clit stimulator.
Why Magic Wand Plus is the most powerful clit vibrator:
- Stimulation: Magic Wand Plus’s 6,300 RPM maximum power output makes it the most powerful wand vibrator. While the rechargeable model has the same power output, our testers attributed the hearty and more wholesome vibrations to the plug-and-play design that ensured a more consistent, uninterrupted intensity. In addition, the four vibration patterns proved particularly useful, making the toy more suitable for a wider range of users, including intermediates. Unlike the original Magic Wand, you can gradually build up to intense orgasms with the four vibration settings.
- Ease of Use: The reviewers described Magic Wand Plus as among the easiest to use wand vibrators. The 3-button interface lets you turn it on and off, with a plus and minus button to increase or reduce the intensity. In addition, the sleeker shape with a removable charging cord simplifies storage than the corded models.
If you want to see what Magic Wand Plus looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone, ABS Plastic
- Size: 3″ x 2.4″
- Cord: 6″
Pros:
- Impressive 6,300 RPM.
- Four vibration patterns.
- Comparatively easy to use.
- Robust build quality.
- One-year warranty.
Cons:
- It’s not waterproof.
9. We-Vibe Wand 2: Rumbliest!
Why we love the We-Vibe Wand 2:
When it comes to clit vibrators, differentiating power and rumble can be more complicated than you might think. Although the Magic Wand Plus proved to be the most powerful, the Wand 2 from We-Vibe was the rumbliest after we measured them. Unlike the former, the vibration depth, or what most testers call the quality of vibrations, is better.
We-Vibe Wand 2’s vibrations felt deeper and more resonant. Even at the lowest setting, our testers found the deep hum more impactful. Unlike the surface-level buzz that’s common with most clit vibrators, the vibrations were more ‘3D’, seeping deep into the nerve endings.
“According to my husband, the best way to differentiate power and rumble is speed and torque. Power is how fast a vehicle hits a wall, and rumble is how far the wall is moved from the impact,” says Sandra Larson. “Although the vibrations felt low-frequency, the resulting sensations were far-reaching compared to other wand vibrators.”
Although the vibrations become faster and buzzier as you crank the volume, the lower settings are the rumbliest. “It almost felt like they came in a slow, well-measured pattern,” says Angela Kempf. Fortunately, there are ten vibration settings, allowing you to customize the experience to match your sexual desires and experience. In addition, the mobile app offered more manual control, allowing you to tweak the settings further for a better build-up to the ultimate buzzing sensations.
Something else the team noted about the model was the flexible body. The posable neck made it relatively easy to alter the angles during usage for better precision. In addition, we loved the wide head because it increased the surface area and made it almost impossible to miss a mark. Unfortunately, this meant the vibrator wasn’t ideal for pinpoint stimulation, but I don’t think most users are looking for that in a vibrating wand.
Handling was also much easier than initially thought. During testing, the team pointed out the extended handle as a great addition because it made it easy to grasp the vibe. In addition, the button placement couldn’t have been better, with the plus button conveniently located at the top when you hold it. The two arrows to cycle through the patterns also made it easy to get back to a favorite if you accidentally zoom past it.
Lastly, its compatibility with the We-Vibe app offered more than a way to regulate the vibration patterns. We loved that it kept us in the loop on the battery level, so you’re not caught unawares. Whether playing solo or with a partner, we found the interface’s simplicity convenient, as it offered multiple ways to customize the vibrations for solo users and couples.
The mobile app might not be as handy because the clit vibrator is not as hands-free, but it proved resourceful when using it with your partner. “I love using it with my partner because I can use one hand to hold the sex toy and the other to tickle other body parts, while leaving her with the controls,” says Rachel Sommer.
Good Alternative: Hot Octopuss Pulse Queen
Hot Octopuss Pulse Queen is a decent budget alternative for people looking for deep, bassy oscillations. For $99.95, the device is the cheapest in the category (but not as rumbly as We-Vibe Wand 2 above), offering rich, non-buzzy sensations that sink deep into the never-ending. Our testers highlighted the extensive range of 9 oscillations and 7 vibration modes with adjustable frequency.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Although the lower settings were impressively rumbly, the vibration quality became increasingly buzzy over time, and people with sensitive skin will find it numbing.
Why We-Vibe Wand 2 is the rumbliest:
- Stimulation: We-Vibe has consistently produced high-quality products, and going by our testers and reviews on the internet, they got things right with the Wand 2. The low-frequency vibrations felt richer than other wand vibrators we tested, and the extensive range made customizing the sessions to match your desires easy. The slow, well-measured patterns, especially on lower settings, delivered a strong punch without being uncomfortable for the intermediates.
- Ease of Use: Our testers appreciated the 5-button interface. Sandra Larson described it as one of the few toys made by someone who enjoys masturbation. The plus button was conveniently positioned at the top with two arrows on the side to cycle through the patterns easily. In addition, the We-Vibe app offered numerous ways to customize the experience for solo users and couples, making it easier to use than the Magic Wand, for instance.
If you want to see what the We-Vibe Wand 2 looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Size: 2.2″ x 10.7″
Pros:
- Well-measured rumbly vibrations.
- An excellent range of vibrations.
- Easy-to-use 5-button interface.
- Convenient mobile app.
- Two-year warranty.
Cons:
- The vibrations transfer to the hand.
- Some will find it large and heavy.
10. We-Vibe Tango X: Best lipstick & Most Discreet!
Why we love We-Vibe Tango X:
We-Vibe Tango X turned out to be the most recommended lipstick vibrator because of its ultra-compact design and uncanny resemblance to a lipstick. The deep pink color, wider base, and tapered tip look like a classic lipstick. Unless you’ve used one before, the discreet model will pass for a mid-luxury beauty product.
Our testers loved the color choice because of its association with female beauty products. During testing, the reviewers praised the pink hue and well-measured dimensions, describing them as obvious yet ingenious. “I’ve accidentally left Tango X on the table in a restaurant, and people seem to carry on with their day, the opposite of what would happen if I left my other naughty toys on the table,” says Sandra Larson.
From the test reports, the team found the small size (3.5″ long) and overall lightweight structure easy to use. It felt cozy in the hands, and the size made it easy to hold onto the vibe without fatigue. In addition, the pointed tip made the model better suited for pinpoint stimulation.
Surprisingly, We-Vibe used a deep, rumbly motor instead of the usual buzzy models common with the small vibrators. The low-frequency vibrations proved powerful enough for regular clit stimulation fans, but we noted they were quieter than other products we tested. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not silent (no sex toy is), but the noise was comparatively lower.
Even with the low noise output, we loved that We-Vibe was able to squeeze in an extensive range of vibration patterns. We thought the 8 intensity levels and 7 patterns provided a sufficient range for different users to customize the experience to match their sexual desires. In comparison to other products in the price range, the team found the clitoral vibrator more resourceful for different people.
Although using ABS plastic on the tip and silicone material might have been great at enhancing the grip, some reviewers faulted the design because it meant the rugged ABS was in contact with the clit. I didn’t have much of a problem with that, but people with ultra-sensitive skin might.
Versatility-wise, the small dimensions worked in its favor because it allowed for multiple users. Besides the obvious solo masturbation, we found that it fit easily between bodies during sex. Different sex positions presented varying challenges, but we found doggy style, spooning, and cowgirl to be the best to incorporate the toy.
Good Alternative: Lovense Exomoon
Lovense Exomoon is another discreet vibrator with a mix of pink and dark colors to mimic the look of a lipstick. Unlike Tango X, it’s compatible with the Lovense Remote app, opening more playtime possibilities, like long-distance control, music sync, and sound-activated buzzing. We found that the app simplified the user experience, making it better suited for more scenarios.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the indented buttons, different materials, and visible magnetic charging contacts make cleaning a bit complicated due to the multiple seams.
Why We-Vibe Tango X is the best lipstick and most discreet:
- Design: Tango X’s well-measured dimensions and all-pink color enhance its discreet image. Unless you have one in the house, the product will pass for a mid-luxury lipstick. Everything from the small size to the unique shape with a wider base and taper towards the tip makes for an uncanny resemblance. In addition, we found the deep vibrations surprisingly quieter than other small vibrators we tested.
- Versatility: The small size simplified handling and made it easy to slip it between bodies during sex. Different sex positions presented varying challenges, but doggy style, spooning, and cowgirl proved the easiest to pull off. Our testers also loved that the tapered shape allowed the vibe to be used on different body parts, including the nipples, inner thighs, and neck.
If you want to see what We-Vibe Tango X looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone, ABS Plastic
- Length: 3.5″
- Circumference: 1″
Pros:
- The most discreet lipstick vibe.
- Multiple vibration patterns.
- Impressive versatility.
- Easy to use.
- Completely waterproof.
Cons:
- The seams complicate cleaning.
Other Good Alternatives
Je Joue Mimi Soft‘s soft silicone finish makes it the softest palm vibrator. Our testers loved the rounded pebble shape because it enhanced its versatility, making it easy to use in different scenarios. Whether you’re playing solo or with a partner, you can use what feels like deep, rumbly vibrations on different parts of the body, including the clit, nipples, and neck.
LELO Dot Travel stood out as a great option for pinpoint stimulation. My colleagues pointed out the tapered shape with a bendable tip, crediting it for precise stimulation. We thought the brand balanced the density, allowing for precise targeting without the tip feeling flimsy. Its compact size also enhances handling, making it easy to maneuver and switch angles to achieve the desired results.
Dame Com‘s lightweight structure makes it one of the easiest wand vibrators to use. The curved handle felt cozy when holding, while the flexible neck allowed for easy maneuverability. We thought the simplistic shape made it ideal for different users, and especially those seeking broad stimulation; the rounded head proved resourceful.
What Is a Clit Vibrator?
A clitoral vibrator is a sex toy designed to stimulate the clitoris. By inducing rumbles or pulsations in the sensitive area near the vagina, they increase blood flow to the clitoris, amplifying the probability of having an orgasm.
But Why Should I Use One?
Unfortunately, 80% of women don’t orgasm from penetrative sex alone. Yes. Most people require ‘extra care’ to reach the Big O. Luckily, direct clitoral stimulation is one of the most effective ways to lend a hand to penetrative sex and your self-pleasure sessions.
The clitoris contains 15,000 sensitive nerve endings responsible for sexual pleasure – twice the number in the penis and pelvic floor. And for such a rich hub of pleasure, clitoral vibrators are a must-have accessory for all vulva owners searching for intense orgasms.
How To Use A Clit Vibrator?
Using a clit vibrator is very easy, mainly because of its small size and straightforward mode of use. You only need to place it over your clitoris and apply light pressure. And for panty vibrators like the We-Vibe Moxie, you only need to secure it to your underwear and enjoy hands-free play.
For the most part, you hold onto the clit vibrator throughout the process or have your partner do it for you during foreplay. And even with dual-use models that double as G-spot stimulators, there’s always a chance the device will slip off.
Like other sex toys, apply a generous amount of water-based lube on yourself and the vibrator to add the sloppy toppy aspect of the experience. Lube makes the experience more realistic while reducing friction to avoid injury. (No silicone-based lube on silicone sex toys!)
Lastly, cycle through the vibration patterns, gradually increasing the speed until you climax. You can also try edging by bringing yourself to an intense climax, then reducing the intensity, and starting again in preparation for intense orgasms.
After use, clean the sex toys using warm water and mild soap. Let them air dry and avoid storing them in direct sunlight.
Pro Tip: I usually press the vibe’s head against my clitoris with a little more force when I want the vibrations to slip in deeper.
You can read more on how to use a clit vibrator here.
Happy vibing!
Rachel
