One moment you are giggling under the covers, and the next, you are caught up in an unforgettable, toe-curling adventure. If you’re curious about what lesbian strap-ons can bring to the table, you’re in good company. We’ve tested more than our fair share, and the results speak for themselves.
The clear winner? Lovehoney Unisex Advanced. This kit stood out in nearly every way. It comes with an adjustable harness, a 7-inch silicone dildo, and three interchangeable O-rings so you can mix and match with other toys you already own. For just $44.99, it’s a steal compared to many other models. Our testers especially loved how easy it was to use, and the O-ring clasp made switching dildos smooth and frustration-free.

Why You Should Trust Us

The wealth of knowledge and experience meant Rachel was the most qualified person for this article. She also engaged other sex experts who, for this article, were Sandra Larson and Shane Davis, so the team had a combined testing experience of over 200+ sex toy reviews. The team examined various factors that constitute fulfilling lesbian sex before picking the review samples.
Rachel loves to hear feedback about her articles and product picks. You can reach her at [email protected] or call her at +1 307-372-3895. She typically responds in 1-2 business days.
How We Picked the Products
Rachel spent hours researching before creating this guide. After compiling input from the questionnaire shared with our expert panel, she selected the best strap-ons for lesbians. To make sure the results were measurable and meaningful, she also defined nine clear test criteria, each scored from zero to one hundred.
- Design. There’s a relationship between the design and the user experience. Whether strapped or not, both partners must be comfortable, and the experience must be rewarding. We prioritized harness and dildo builds that enhance the experience without jeopardizing the users’ well-being. The type was also essential, and we included full-on kits, harnesses, and dildo strap-ons to ensure everyone had something to pick from.
- Firmness. Like other dildos, strap-on dildos feature density differences. For instance, experienced folks might prefer firm models, while beginners and those with sensitive G-spots will pick a squishy dildo.
- Harness Type. Different harness styles are available, including brief, thong, and jockstrap. The ideal model depends on personal preference, and there’s no specific rule on which one to go for.
- Build Quality. Like we’ve done with other sex toys this year, we only reviewed silicone-made dildos. In addition, we tested the harnesses rigorously to give the user the most comprehensive information on what to expect from the lesbian strap-on.
- Comfort. The wearer’s and receiving partner’s comfort were essential facets of the experience. We prioritized tapered dildos and padded harnesses to simplify penetration and ensure the experience was as fulfilling, regardless of the longevity.
- Special Features. Some highlighted features include reinforced O-rings, vibrating motors, intuitive user interfaces, and remote control.
- Settings. The number of vibration patterns enhances the experience. Full stop. The more intensity settings, the easier it is to customize the rumbles to meet your sexual needs and desires. In addition, more intensity settings make a strap-on dildo ideal for beginner and experienced users.
- Versatility. The team also prioritized models with stretchy and reinforced O-rings. Models with multiple O-rings were special as they allowed for creativity and incorporated different dildos for lesbian penetrative sex.
- Price & Value. Ultimately, your budget will determine what you buy. For this reason, we reviewed multiple lesbian strap-ons to ensure there were various options for everyone, regardless of their budget.
During testing, we rated each test criterion on a percentage scale from 0% (Worst) to 100% (Best). We then calculated the overall score using different weighted metrics depending on the importance of the test criteria. Half the total rating comes from Design (25%) and Build Quality (25%). After that come Versatility (10%), Comfort (10%), and Price & Value (5%).
After testing was complete, I compiled the reports and used charts to study the results in detail. I also reached out to several other sex experts to help review the user feedback. Thanks to this collaborative approach, we were able to identify the best lesbian strap-ons of the year with confidence.
Everything We Tested
In this chapter, you can see a comparison table with all the products we tested. As you can see, each row has the test criteria our team used during the testing. To make our testing process even more transparent, we also included the raw test data so you can see how the products performed with each test criterion.

1. Lovehoney Unisex Advanced: Our Test Winner!
Why we love Lovehoney Unisex Advanced:
Picking the best lesbian strapon is not an easy task since there are so many factors to consider. Plus, the market is crowded with a mix of quality and subpar products, making the team’s job even more challenging. That said, we are extremely confident that the Lovehoney Unisex Advanced is this year’s best product overall. The testers rated the kit as both “Excellent” and “Exemplarily Easy To Use”, two significant must-have features for this kind of product. If you also factor in that this quality model was the easiest to use and only cost $44.99, it’s no surprise we picked it as our overall test winner.
Let’s first address the most important factor: how to adjust the harness straps. Our tester Rachel Sommer summarized her experience like this: “Adjusting the harness (image below) to get a custom fit was easy. Another practical design choice was that the straps go over both the thighs and waist, making Lovehoney Advanced stable and perfect for dildo-in-vagina penetration.”
All team members felt the harness felt comfortable on the skin. While the straps are firm, and you might need to wear underwear if you’re using it for extended sessions, the nylon straps are reasonably comfortable. In addition to the comfort level, the dildo was the most stable with Lovehoney Unisex Advanced, more than all the other products we reviewed.
The silicone O-rings, seen below, felt sturdy once we snapped them in, and switching between the three sizes was quick. With three rings, you can use the harness with multiple dildos, from the tiniest to the dragon dildo. All this made us rate it the highest in the versatility test category.
Something else that stood out was the included 7″ dildo. “Its semi-realistic design has a lifelike head and smooth, curved shaft. While it might not be the thickest, the angled build simplifies G-spot stimulation”, our tester Sandra Larson wrote in her test report.
The dildo’s 6″ insertable length and 4.75″ girth make it an all-rounder. Most users will find it fulfilling unless you’re part of the more experienced folks. Even then, the three silicone O-rings let you get creative with much larger dildos. (Circled in the image above.)
Let’s wrap up the review by talking about the vibration function. Lovehoney Unisex Advanced has a tiny pocket on the inner layer of the harness for a vibrating bullet. The designers used a light fabric for the pouch, allowing the rumbles to seep through to the clitoral hood unopposed. Great design overall!
Minor issues we found during testing:
Like other models, you can only use dildos with a flared base with Lovehoney Unisex Advanced. Most of the dildos in my collection don’t have a flat bottom, and I missed out on some exciting names I wanted to experiment with.
In addition, the nylon straps felt stiff and could cause chafing if you use the harness for extended sessions without underwear.
If you want to see what Lovehoney Advanced Unisex looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
You can read our complete Lovehoney Advanced Unisex Strap-On review here.

- The adjustable harness is easy to use.
- Curved dildo renders G-spot stimulation straightforward.
- Multiple O-rings make the strap-on versatile.
- A pouch at the back of the harness lets you add vibration capabilities.
- Machine washable harness.
Cons:
- You’re limited to dildos with a flared base.
- The nylon straps can cause chafing when used for extended periods.
2. Desire Luxury: Best Strapless!
Why we love Desire Luxury Strapless:
Desire Luxury Strapless’ fascinating design (seen in the image above) makes it our recommended model for the more experienced lesbians seeking 100% hands-free penetrative sex. The dual-stimulation design with a sleek, long shaft for the receiving partner and a chubby pony for the wearer vibrates in sync, stimulating the couple’s G-spots simultaneously.
Let’s address the design first, where the team thought the external shaft’s tapered design significantly simplified penetration, while the bulbous body enhances the pleasures of internal stimulation. “With a slight curve towards the tip, hitting the G-spot is cake”, Rachel Sommer commented.
Please be aware that using a strapless model is more difficult than a harness one, and it takes lots of practice and Kegel exercises to get a rhythm going, but luckily, Desire Luxury was the easiest to use among the strapless models we reviewed. The posable neck lets you adjust the penetration angle up to 180˚, making it comfortable for the wearer regardless of the size or shape. You can check out our guide on how to use a strapless strap-on if you want to learn more.
So how were the vibrations? Well, the team reported that the 8 patterns and 12-speed intensities offered excellent vibration combinations. “The rumbles were trackable as I could articulate the progress from one pattern to another”, Rachel Sommer wrote in her report. “In addition, the motor is implosive, and the vibrations are impactful, even at the lowest intensity range”, she added. That sounds pretty good to me!
Desire Luxury also came with a wireless remote control. The silicone-covered controller felt great in the palm and has an intuitive 3-button interface that significantly improves the user experience. It also enhances lesbian sex, allowing you to continually thrust and regulate the rumbles simultaneously without halting the momentum.
Because of the strapless design, the double-ended dildo draws partners closer, making the session more intimate. Especially with the posable neck that adjusts up to 180˚(see image below), you can pull your partner as close as functionally possible.
Pro Tip: Our tester Angela Kempf recommended gravity-friendly sex positions like spooning or woman-on-top to keep the dual pleasure strap-on in place. She also discovered that using the toy with my legs crossed retained the insertable pony better. Still, it takes lots of patience and Kegel exercises to tone your pelvic muscles to get it right.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the inner and outer arms vibrate simultaneously, and you can’t regulate the rumbles separately. You must agree with your partner on what intensity setting to use and always check with them when you crank up the volume. You can find more information in our double-sided strap-on review.
Like other strapless models, Desire Luxury is better suited for more experienced consumers. Still, you must exercise the pelvic muscles repeatedly to get to where you can effortlessly clench it hands-free.
Desire Luxury is also expensive, and the $199 price will push many people away from hands-free lesbian penetrative sex.
If you want to see what Desire Luxury looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone & ABS Plastic
- Girth: 4.75″ (pony), 4.25″ (shaft)
- Insertable Length: 4.5″ (pony), 5″ (shaft)
Pros:
- Multiple vibration patterns and intensity levels.
- A posable neck enhances the user experience.
- The bulbous and angled body makes internal stimulation thrilling.
- Wireless remote controller.
- It’s 100% waterproof.
Cons:
- A rechargeable remote control would’ve been better.
- Strapless products are reserved for the most experienced (Kegel exercises) users.
3. Lovehoney Beginner’s Kit: Our Budget Pick!
Why we love Lovehoney Beginner’s Kit:
Looking for something more affordable and beginner-friendly? Then you should be pleased with our next entry, the Beginner’s Kit from Lovehoney, which was rated as the best value among all the models on this list. It only costs $44.99, which we believe is a reasonably low price for such a high-quality kit. While it costs the same as Unisex Advanced, its smaller dimensions (4.5″ usable length and 3″ circumference) make it a better fit for newbies.
Something that especially stood out during the review was the versatility. “The Beginner’s Kit has three O-rings (image below) to use with your favorite dildo. Whether you want to go up or down the scale, the silicone rings make it easy to switch between multiple dildos”, our tester Shane Davis chimed in.
The team thought the harness’s nylon material might not be the most comfortable, but it felt sturdy enough and would last long with the proper care. The adjustable straps have a maximum waist size of 68″, which offers a sufficient allowance for different body shapes and sizes.
We also noted that switching between the O-rings was straightforward. Unsnapping and snapping the clips back was extremely easy, and you won’t need a manual for this one. We love easy-to-use devices!
The harness has a tiny pocket (see the above image) on the crotch area for the bullet vibrator. Like the Advanced Unisex Advanced strap-on, the pouch’s lining has light fabric, so the vibrations can seep through easily and unopposed.
Overall, we felt that the Lovehoney Beginner kit has a good balance. On the one hand, it’s easy to use, while on the other, it’s the most affordable model we reviewed. With a well-designed dildo, multiple O-rings, and a bullet vibe pouch, the lesbian strap-on is perfect for the job.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The greatest pitfall was the dildo’s stability. The included dildo could be more stable. Even when I used the smaller-sized O-rings, the dildo flopped around, and I had to use my hand to force penetration. Luckily, the other dildos in my sex toy collection held firmly, and I didn’t have to use the included dong.
In addition, the PVC straps are firm, and you might have to wear something underneath if you intend to use the harness for extended sessions. The straps feel uncomfortable on bare skin, especially when you tighten them up.
If you want to see what the Lovehoney Beginner’s Kit looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Here’s the full Lovehoney Beginner’s Unisex Strap-On review for more details.
Features:
- Material: Silicone, Nylon, PVC
- Circumference: 3″
- Insertable Length: 4.5″
- Harness size: 18″ – 68″
Pros:
- Comparatively affordable – $44.99.
- Interchangeable rings enhance versatility.
- A curved shaft simplifies G-spot stimulation.
- The adjustable harness stretches up to 86″.
- Easy to use and clean.
Cons:
- The included silicone dildo wiggles during use.
- The straps might be uncomfortable after extended use.
4. Lovense Lapis: Best App Control!
Why we love Lovense Lapis:
The next entry is something for our camgirls or long-distance couples: Lovense Lapis. Lapis is compatible with the Lovense Remote app, which is a great choice for those who want more customization options during their sessions. Besides being the most straightforward sex toy mobile application, the Lovense Remote’s versatility lets lesbians in close-range and long-distance relationships enjoy multiple fun motions.
Among the sex toy apps we tested, integration was the easiest with the Lovense Remote app. Our testers highlighted how the user-friendly interface and innovative technology made it easy to connect to the lesbian dildo. “Pairing the sex toy with the app was bliss. I’ve used more than four different applications over the years, and none was as easy to integrate as Lovense’ Remote,” our tester Sandra Larson told me.
On top of that, the lesbian dildo has an impressive three-vibrating-motor layout, and the mobile application lets you control each independently. “I’ve always loved having absolute control over my sex toys, and having a way to regulate each motor to the finest detail was impressive,” affirms Sandra. “The feature means you can adjust the sensations so that your vibrations are intense and your partner’s rumbles are mild or vice versa.”
Note: Most sex toys with multiple motors have a single control line, meaning both partners must contend with the same bandwidth. This way, the experience might be limiting or too much for one partner. For this reason, Lovense Lapis’s independent control makes it stand out from the competition.
The Lovense Lapis’ powerful motors made it ideal for couples looking to merge clitoral and G-spot stimulation. One motor was located around the neck, promoting precise external stimulation.
Something else that stood out was the well-thought-out design. Unlike most strapless strapons, the designers added a shorter and thicker internal arm, with more knobs around the joint for internal gripping. In addition, the ON/OFF button was placed on the base (circled in the image above), an easy-to-reach area once the sex toy was inside the two bodies. Most competing models scored low on button placement because the access was awkward and interrupted the moment of pleasure.
Lovense Lapis’ versatility was another selling point. The Remote app made it ideal for close-range and long-distance relationships. In addition, the waterproof design means you can use the lesbian dildo in the bath or shower. (In the image above, you can see a wet Lapis after our waterproof testing.)
Lastly, the build quality was rated as “Outstanding”. The body felt sturdy while holding, and not even shaking it left us feeling short-changed. There were no moving parts, and the joint felt impressively solid after multiple uses.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the pricing was steep for most people. The lesbian dildo costs $259 when not on offer, which most sex toy users will find expensive.
The Lovense Lapis’ semi-realistic design infringes on inclusivity, as some people want a 100% non-phallic design.
If you want to see what Lovense Lapis looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Insertable Length: 1.61″ (pony), 3.43″ (shaft)
Pros:
- Outstanding possibilities with the Lovense Remote app.
- The app simplified integration and control.
- Impressive design and dimensions.
- Phenomenal build quality.
- Multiple vibration motors.
- Body-safe silicone material.
Cons:
- Lapis is more suitable for more experienced lesbians.
- Diversity-hampering semi-realistic design.
5. Blush Neo Elite Tao: Best Non-Phallic!
Why we love Blush Neo Elite Tao:
We chose Blush Neo Elite Tao as our best non-phallic strap-on for lesbians after our testing determined that it provided the complete design, user-friendliness, and versatility package. It felt light in the palm, making it easy to use with or without a harness. The team also loved how the slick, curved design enhanced precision, making landing on your sweet spots easier.
The non-phallic, glow-in-the-dark vibe added a unique twist to the experience. “My husband and I love having fun in the dark, and the Neo Elite proved a must-have accessory in the bedroom,” says Sandra Larson. “Most models we tested were either too bright or dull, but we found Tao well-balanced.”
Something else we appreciated about the strap-on dildo was the impressive construction that balanced practicality and allure. The dual-density design included a firm inner core and a smooth outer layer. We found it simplistic yet functional because it significantly simplified penetration, while ensuring the dildo felt great inside the vagina or anal cavity. In addition, the non-intimidating, glowing look made it ideal for beginners and those skeptical of strap-ons.
The team also found the build quality impressive for a strap-on that costs $25- $36. We thought the silicone felt great against the skin, and its non-porous nature greatly simplified cleaning. There were no seams or deformities common with mass-produced sex toys. Although subtle, the spiral texture added a bit of friction, making thrusting more satisfying, especially when you mess with the penetration angle.
As mentioned earlier, the Neo Elite Tao is made from platinum-grade silicone, making it more durable and reliable in the long run. “The dual-density design felt well-made, and even after three months of using ours, it feels solid, and there are no signs of impending breakdown,” says Sandra Larson. There are no weird smells or odors, and the glow-in-the-dark light was well-balanced.”
Our testers also described Tao as relatively versatile, a plus for anyone looking to make the most of their new purchase. You can use it vaginally and anally, making it ideal for different users and situations. According to Rachel Sommer, our sexologist, the lightweight body enhanced handling with or without a harness, and the glow-in-the-dark look added a degree of mystery, allowing you to enjoy each other in the dark for a more sensual mood.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the more experienced folks looking for more girth and depth might find the model a bit underwhelming.
Although the wavy texture added some friction to the experience, it also created pockets for lube and body fluids to hide. For this reason, you’ll need more lube, and cleaning will be more tedious.
If you want to see what Blush Neo Elite Tao looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below (It’s the second product in the YouTube video):
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Usable Length: 6″
- Diameter: 1.25″
Pros:
- The most outstanding non-phallic strap-on.
- A well-thought-out dual-layer construction.
- The slim, curved shaft enhances precision.
- It is ideal for beginners.
- Impressive build quality.
Cons:
- Cleaning takes more time.
- It’s not ideal for the more experienced folks.
6. Accommodator Silicone Dong: Best Chin Strap-on!
Why we love Accommodator Silicone Dong:
Our testers highlighted the simplistic, functional design as the primary motivation when picking the Accommodator as our top pick in the face category. “The unexpectedly hot mouth gag made it easy to spice things up in the bedroom,” says Rachel Sommer.
We especially liked how the functional shape and stretchy headband felt around the chin. Adjusting the angles and positions was straightforward. Unlike the other review samples, it felt comfortable even when worn for extended sessions, and you won’t feel trapped inside.
The dildo’s rounded head (image above) made penetration straightforward. We also thought the curved shaft made it easy to target the sweet spots. You might have to look elsewhere if your main goal is full-on intensity. However, anyone interested in slow, controlled movements will love the smooth curve and rounded head. “It slithers warmly through the cavity, stimulating the nerve endings without much manual stroking,” emphasizes Sandra Larson. And with 5 inches of insertable length, the dildo offers sufficient sensations for different users, without being overwhelming.
Our only concern with the design was the straps, which can get stretchy over time. We recommend the Accommodator for slow, sensual thrusting rather than wild, all-out thrusting parties.
While the receiver enjoys the bliss of the smooth, curved shaft inside the vagina or anal cavity, the wearer will love the overwhelming feeling of control. We thought shutting up the dominant partner while having them stimulate their partner with a dildo stuck to the chin was the perfect blend of power dynamics in the bedroom. And with the hands free to explore, we found the possibilities endless when playing with the chin dildo.
Handling took a while because getting into a good head movement rhythm wasn’t as easy as anticipated. Of course, the smoother the rhythm, the better the stimulation, and it took patience and time to get the hang of it. In addition, we recommend trimming your facial hair to get a snug fit and avoid tugging.
Minor issues we found during testing:
The straps can get stretched over time, especially after repeated heavy thrusting. We recommend going slow on the thrusting to avoid overstretching the harness.
A heavy, rubbery smell that wore off with a few washes was hard to overlook. Luckily, cleaning was straightforward, and warm water and antibacterial soap were enough.
If you want to see what the Accommodator looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below (It’s the third product in the YouTube video):
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Length: 5″
- Diameter: 1.25″
Pros:
- A well-designed chin dildo.
- Smooth, flexible straps.
- It is ideal for lesbian penetrative sex.
- Implosive 5-inch dildo.
- A versatile model.
Cons:
- A lingering rubbery smell.
- The straps stretch over time.
7. POP By Tantus Squirting Dildo: Best Squirting!
Why we love POP By Tantus Squirting Dildo:
Our testers picked POP By Tantus as the top squirting strap-on dildo thanks to the impressive, classy design, body safety, and effectiveness in short, visual bursts. People who want to enjoy the visual fun of ejaculation without having to deal with the chaos of gallons of fluid will find POP a good purchase. You must deal with the limited squirt volume and single-use tubes, but overall, the product is clean and stylish, with a simplistic syringe that offers the user impressive squirt control.
We especially liked the beautiful look. Unlike most ejaculating dildos that lean more towards cartoonish exaggeration, POP leaned towards sculptural elegance. It looked more like modern art than a sex toy.
The team also appreciated the straightforward design because it significantly enhanced handling. Everything from smooth swirls to the rounded head and overall slim body made it easy for different people to use it vaginally and anally. Density-wise, the brand balanced it intelligently, so the head felt squishy with just the right firmness to ensure it landed on the G-spot or prostate without feeling overwhelming.
Unfortunately, the design didn’t include a suction cup base. Although the harness means you don’t need one to enjoy hands-free sensations, we’d have loved one for improved functionality.
Minor issues we found during testing:
Unfortunately, the setup required patience to fill the syringe, attach the tube, and thread it through. If you’re a first-timer, you’ll need a dry run before the real thing.
The single-use tubes and fiddly system weren’t the most reassuring. Mine tore near the channel when removing the tube, raising durability concerns.
If you want to see what POP by Tantus looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below (It’s the third product in the YouTube video):
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Insertable Length: 6.5″
- Diameter: 1.5″
Pros:
- A well-designed squirting dildo.
- A sleek, classy outlook.
- It is relatively easy to use.
- High-quality silicone construction.
- Impressive versatility.
Cons:
- Single-use tubes can be unreliable.
- A limited squirt volume.
8. Vixen Johnny: Best Strap-on Dildo!
Why we love Vixen Johnny:
Vixen Johnny stood out from all the lesbian strap-on dildos we tested; everything about this standalone dildo earned praise across the board. The team especially appreciated the dual-density construction, calling it a true game changer. The firm inner core gave it structure, while the softer outer layer added a lifelike finish that slid naturally with each movement.
For those who have tried dual-density dildos before, RealCock 2 comes close in terms of realism, but the price tag puts it in a different category. Vixen Johnny delivers a comparable experience at a much more reasonable cost, which is why it claimed the top spot in our review.
Besides the difference in inner and outer core density, Vixen Johnny’s lifelike shaft with subtle veins, a defined corona, and a tapered tip gives a natural dick look (image above). It even has wrinkled balls to amplify the realistic look, as seen in the image below.
Note: While realistic balls make handling more complicated for people manually thrusting by hand, we believe the bulge will be a positive for most consumers. We discovered it made the dildo more stable.
The standalone dildo is compatible with most standard strap-ons, including all with a 1.75″ diameter opening. I used it with several harnesses in my collection, but Spareparts Joque was my absolute favorite. It was the most stable, and combining the realistic balls and a reinforced O-ring proved a cheat code.
Manipulating the dildo during use to target your partner’s sweet spots is straightforward, and the soft head means even those with a sensitive G-spot won’t have a problem with Vixen Johnny. My partner found the coronal ridge more ‘impactful,’ and so did I, and the other reviewers. Like the head, the veins and ridges are soft, and neither of us felt them. You can see the product inside the packaging in the image below.
Minor issues we found during testing:
As stressed before, realistic balls get in the way when the dildo is used as a standalone sex toy, and handling gets complicated without the harness.
Like other dual-density dildos, Vixen Johnny has a significant ‘drawback effect’ from the retracting outer silicone, and you’ll need more lube to avoid chafing.
If you want to see what Vixskin Johnny looks like and how to use it, please watch our unboxing and demonstration video below:
Features:
- Material: Silicone
- Circumference: 5.5″
- Insertable Length: 7″
Pros:
- Outstanding dual-density design.
- The incredibly lifelike body looks like an erect dick.
- Compatibility with standard harnesses.
- The angled shaft enhances G-spot stimulation.
Cons:
- You must use generous amounts of lube with the dual-density dildo.
- The colossal size locks out beginners from the fun.
Other Good Alternatives

Happy Rabbit has rabbit ears that target both the bottom’s G-spot and clitoris for pleasurable dual stimulation. The harness feels comfortable and is easy to adjust, with multiple O-rings letting you experiment with different strap-on dildos.
Spareparts Joque is our favorite dildo harness we have found. Its flexible and easy-to-adjust design extends between 20 and 50 inches, while the padded finish ensures the wearer’s utmost comfort regardless of the duration of use. And while most reviewers have labeled the harness expensive, it provides excellent value for money and will last a lifetime with the proper maintenance. You can read more about strap-on harnesses in this article.
What Types Can I Buy?
Harness Models
Harness strap-ons have two parts: the dildo and the harness. The harness goes around the wearer’s waist or hips so the dildo rests at the same height as a penis. The dildo goes through an O-ring that holds it in position during play.
Most harness kits feature an O-ring system that allows you to change ring sizes and experiment with different dildos.
Strapless Models
Strapless Strap-ons feature an elongated shaft, like a regular dildo, and a pony on the rear end. The penetrating partner slides the pony into their vagina, holding it with the vaginal muscles.
As you’d expect, the pony, though not as long, massages the wearer’s vaginal nerve configurations.
Note: A strapless model is a little trickier to use than the harness option and will take a bit of practice and patience. I recommend strapless dildos for experienced players. If it’s your first time using Strap-ons, consider starting with the harness type.
Strap-On Kits
If you’re in the market for a full-on strap-on dildo for women, you’re in the right place. Strap-on kits come with the dildo and harness pre-attached.
While most people like picking the harness and dildo separately, these harness kits simplify your work while allowing you to express yourself freely during sex without worrying about dildo-harness incompatibility issues.
There are numerous kits to choose from. Whether you want underwear or a harness-style strap-on, there’s something for everyone.
Hollow Strap-Ons
While hollow Strap-ons are synonymous with men, vulva owners can also use these bad boys. Like the kits, they come with a harness that goes around the wearer’s body to hold the dildo in place. Depending on the size and firmness, you can use the hollow models as it is. You can read more about hollow strap-ons in this article.
How Can Lesbian Couples Have Sex With Strap-Ons?
Are you new to the wonderful world of strap-on sex? No sweat! We have compiled the best strapon tips for lesbians in this chapter!
Practice Alone First
Wear the harness a couple of times while on your own to learn how to adjust the fit. Solo play lets you build your confidence while finding out how you want the dildo to rest on your body. Do you like it higher or lower? Now is the ideal time to figure everything out.
Use a Good Position.
One rule of thumb is prioritizing positions that are easy to execute, like doggy style and spooning, before moving on to intensive ones. Some of my favorite sex positions include:
- 69
- Doggystyle
- Missionary
- Spooning
- Cowgirl
You can find more positions in our lesbian sex position guide.
Use A Sili Saddle To Protect Your Vulva
Sili Saddle is a sex pleasure aid designed for people with delicate pubic tissues. The 100% silicone non-vibrating pleasure pad offers a much-needed resort to ensure lesbian sex doesn’t leave you bruised. Most importantly, you can place it where you feel most comfortable.
Use A Lot Of Lube
A high-quality water-based lube is essential during sex, especially with a dildo and during anal play. Lubing up makes penetration easier and sex more enjoyable. So, ensure you have plenty within your arm’s reach and reapply regularly.
Foreplay
Foreplay helps to get both partners to speed up both physically and emotionally. It also initiates arousal, getting the juices flowing, so sex is more natural and enjoyable. Start with oral sex or mutual masturbation before kicking off the penetration.
Let the hands do more of the talking.
Good Communication
Communication starts before sex and carries on during and after. Convey what you’d like your partner to do, your limits, and your expectations. Excellent communication ensures that both partners enjoy the experience without causing harm or discomfort to each other.
Start Small
If you’re new to same-sex penetration, I recommend starting small, gradually increasing the dildo size, and improving the intensity as you get used to the experience. Use the dildo size you’re comfortable with before moving on to the large options.
This way, you can safely enjoy the pleasure of lesbian penetrative sex.
Practice, Practice!
Practice makes perfect, and lesbian strap-on sex is no exception. For strapless models, wear and walk around with it in the house before using it on your partner. Please also note that the experience benefits significantly from doing Kegel exercises. So I recommend regularly training and strengthening the Pelvic muscles so you can hold the dildo inside more comfortably.
Happy vibing!
Rachel
