First Impressions and Features

Unboxing

While I like the packaging a lot overall, with the way the box folds out and conveys the information about the product, I do not like the excess (and excessive) plastic packaging around the charger and the instruction manual. It’s wasteful and serves absolutely no purpose. It’s a thorn in my side, one might say!

I also didn’t love that it did not come with a reusable bag. Since the caps that fit on the top (one for suction, one for tapping) are so small, it will be very easy to lose one. Having some way of keeping everything together would have made a lot of sense. While everyone is likely to prefer one sensation over the other, it seems like a bit of a waste of money not to keep both caps, but without a bag, that’s just going to be harder to do. Of course everything fits in the plastic packaging, but while the box is nice, it’s a little bulky and won’t fit neatly in everyone’s bedside drawer.

How Do I Use The Pro 2 Classic Blossom?

First, charge up your blossom with the included charging cable. It uses a magnetic charger, which can be a little tricky to keep in place, especially with a round body.
Once it’s charged up, choose which sensation you want to indulge in. Or start out with, if you want to switch it up mid-session. The toy comes with the suction cap in place (with a hole in the middle), but if you’d prefer the tapping sensation, take off the suction cap and replace it with the Liquid Air cap.
I’d recommend using a little bit of water-based lube for either; for the suction cap, it’s important to keep a seal around your clit, and for the Liquid Air cap, it just feels a little bit nicer.
To turn it on, long hold the power button. Continue pressing the button in order to increase the intensity of the pulsations. To decrease the intensity, simply press the second button located below the power button. To turn it off, long hold the power button again.

My Personal Experience

Design

I’ll be honest, I don’t love the way rose toys are designed in general. For me, having the suction…hole (sorry, that’s the best way I can think to describe it) resting flat against the body makes it difficult to place properly, compared to a product with a more defined “lip” (the majority of the Womanizer lineup, for example). But with that said, I did like the Pro 2 Classic Blossom design overall. The bottom of the rose fit very nicely in my hand and was easy to hold. The buttons were easy to press and reach, and the way the two different tops popped on and off was instinctive and simple.

Material

This rose is made from body-safe silicone. Soft as rose petals, this toy feels really nice in the hand, and more importantly, nice against the clit.

Stimulations

The Pro 2 Classic Blossom offers two types of stimulation: suction and tapping. Since both are controlled by the same air pressure waves, they have the same 11 intensity variations. While I love a good suction toy, I found that I preferred the Liquid Air tapping sensation. Satisfyer claims it mimics the sensation of a “pulsating water jet”. While I’m not totally sure about that, I can say that it did feel really, really good, and that’s what matters. I found it was more intense than the suction, probably since the thin silicone membrane was tapping directly onto my clit.

Sound Level

This toy was very quiet, which I appreciated.

Build Quality and Dimensions

The quality was great, which made the overall experience very pleasant. The box says this toy is “travel-sized”, and at 2.8 inches by 2.44 inches, it’s not… not travel-sized. But without a bag for the extra cap (or the toy itself), I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it for travel.

Ease of Use

With only two buttons, this vibrator is very easy to use in terms of the technology. In terms of anatomy, as I say, I find suction toys easier to use when they have a lip that really sticks out. But rose toys are popular for a reason, so I might be in the minority on that one. And it’s not as though I spent ages trying to get it in place—more like an extra second or two of “It goes there? Right there? No, there’s the spot.”

Versatility

I really appreciated the fact that Pro 2 Classic Blossom came with the extra cap to make it into a tapping toy as well as a suction toy. Being able to experiment with the different sensations was a lot of fun, especially since they both felt great. This toy is IPX7 waterproof, so you can take a bath with this blossom.

Minor Issues I Found During Testing

My biggest issue with Pro 2 Classic Blossom was the packaging, both in terms of what they included and what they didn’t include. The excess plastic was a big no for me, and the lack of a little drawstring bag meant that the extra cap could easily get lost. It’s also not quite fair to call a sex toy “travel size”, implying it is a good choice for travel, then not include a bag.

If you’re like me and aren’t crazy about the way rose toys are shaped, then the Satisfyer Pro 2 might be a better choice. Although it does not come with the Liquid Air cap, it has many of the same perks as the Classic Blossom—11 intensity settings, intuitive design, and IPX7 waterproof rating. They also have one that looks like a penguin, if you want some added whimsy, and the Satisfyer Pro 2 Generation 3 has the Liquid Air cap and app compatibility.
