The We-Vibe came in a rectangular box with a funky gradient design, fading from pink to blue. The box displayed a photo of the toy on the front of the box, along with the cheeky tagline “ultimate inside job,” which I loved!
Once opened, the box contained the vibrator, USB charging cable, instruction manual, storage bag, and a small sachet of lube. I love when brands include lube with their vibes as it destigmatizes the use of lube and provides you with all you need to get started.
Material
The body is covered in silicone which is body safe and free from phthalates and BPA. This silicone is not only nonporous and safe for the body but also feels soft to the touch.
Dimensions
The overall dimensions are 3.62 inches long, 2.52 inches wide, and 1.41 inches deep. The insertable part of the toy is 2.95 inches long, 0.98 inches wide, and 1.42 inches deep. The retrieval stem is 4.53 inches long and 0.75 inches at the widest part.

Warranty and Support
The We-Vibe Jive is covered by a two-year warranty. If your toy stops working during this time, We-Vibe will replace your toy for free with another or any similar product if the Jive is to be discontinued.
How to use the We-Vibe Jive?
- To use the Jive, take it out of the packaging and give it a charge (the instruction manual states to charge it for 90 minutes initially).
- Once done, give it a quick clean using warm water and antibacterial soap.
- Then you will need to download the We Connect app from the App Store or Google Play to get started.
- Once downloaded, pair the toy to the We-Vibe Jive app via Bluetooth by following the instructions on the app.
- It’s a reasonably straightforward process and takes around a minute.
Now you’re ready to enjoy the good vibes, so grab the lube included in the box, and lube up yourself and the toy. You might want to start with clitoral stimulation before inserting the toy into the vagina.

How to clean the We-Vibe Jive?
To clean the Jive, get some fragrance-free antibacterial soap and wash it with this, along with some warm water. Wash the toy, including the antenna arm, and then wait for it to dry. You can also use sex toy cleaner if you have it available.
Once the toy is dry, you can store it in the provided storage bag or somewhere free of dust and direct sunlight. Although it’s waterproof, do not place it in the dishwasher to clean, as this has the potential to ruin the motor of the vibrator.
How to connect We-Vibe Jive with the app?
To connect We-Vibe Jive with the app, download the We-Connect app available on the App Store or Google Play. Then follow the instructions to pair the toy with the app.
It was a straightforward process on my iPhone; I just selected the Jive from the list of sex toys and then held down the button on the device until it vibrated twice, and then I was done.
How to control We-Vibe Jive using the app?
To control the Jive via the We-Connect app, pair your vibrator to the app using the instructions. Once done, you can control the sex toy in three ways: Single Vibe, Multi Vibe, or Touch Mode from the We-Vibe app menu.
- Single Vibe allows you to control the intensity of the vibration. To do this, move the circular Jive button up and down the power spectrum.
- Multi Vibe allows you to change vibrational patterns. In default mode, the Multi Vibe page is divided into four quadrants, three with different vibration patterns and a fourth with a plus sign. If you select this plus sign, you can choose from ten different patterns or create your own. You can select your favorite pattern and place it on the Multi Vibe page in the fourth quadrant.
- Touch Mode allows you to control the vibrations in the toy by touching the app screen; the longer and harder you touch the screen, the longer and harder the vibrations.

Another fun feature is the playlist feature which allows you to create a vibration pattern ‘playlist’ out of the ten available vibration patterns.
My Personal Experience
Design
The Jive was designed well. The shape of the insertable bulb is wide enough that it sits against the G-spot comfortably enough to wear around while walking. In addition, the antenna/ retrieval arm works well for Bluetooth connectivity and makes pulling the toy out of the vagina easy. I also appreciated that you could control the vibe patterns from the external arm, so you don’t have to stare at your phone during masturbation.
Settings
The settings on this toy are amazing! You can connect it to the app via Bluetooth or the internet. Using the Bluetooth connection to control the toy with my partner, we could establish a connection throughout most of our two-bedroom apartment, meaning he could control it when we were in the same room or from a different room.
It was so much fun as I had no idea what was coming. I also enjoyed making my own vibrational patterns within the app, even though all the patterns I made sucked.
Stimulations
Although I am not exactly into the idea of wearable toys, the internal stimulation for this wearable G-spot vibrator was a whole vibe! The vibrations were strong and radiated throughout my body, and they hit all the right spots. I definitely wouldn’t be able to use this outside of the house, as I would be worried that I would fall over if someone turned the vibes up all the way.
For people who like to combine G-spot stimulation with some clit stimulation, this toy is perfect as the external arm of the toy doesn’t get in the way of any other toy.
Quality
The Jive is very high quality. You can tell that We-Vibe put a lot of thought and attention into this toy’s details. The silicone feels super soft and luxurious, and the external arm feels sturdy enough to be put through some serious sessions. In addition, Bluetooth stayed connected throughout most of my house, which was a big plus.
Charging
Charging the toy was a super easy process. The external arm has a magnetic strip that connects the charging cable. The magnetic connection was super strong, so it wouldn’t accidentally come undone if you were to knock it. The toy took around an hour and a half to charge, lasting around two hours (longer than the manufacturer claimed).
Sound Level
The sound level of the Jive is relatively quiet, particularly when inserted. You could not hear it outside the bedroom in the highest setting. A cool thing about the Jive is that you can sync to music through the app to help drown out some of the noise (but this wasn’t available to me in the app just yet).
