The Hot Octopuss DiGiT came in a small box that could fit into the letterbox, meaning my precious cargo wasn’t sitting on the front porch all day! Once I opened the discreet packaging, a small but sophisticated metallic red box appeared.
Once opened, the box contained the vibrator, USB charging cord, storage bag, and a user manual. The user manual was quite handy (pun intended), as it demonstrated different ways to wear it on your hand and showed various methods for people with larger hands.
Material
The body of the wearable finger vibrator is made from silicone, making it feel soft to the touch while also keeping it body-safe. The finger loops are made from polycarbonate, making it malleable enough to use on your clitoris during penetrative partnered sex without worrying about snapping. In addition, it has a plastic base with a gold band separating it from the main body.
The flexible nature of the finger loops would also come in handy if you had larger fingers.
The vibe is also waterproof, meaning you can take it into the shower and not worry about losing grip at the most crucial times.
Dimensions
The vibrator is 3.4 inches long and 1.8 inches wide, including the finger piece. Hence it’s perfect to pop into your bag for a weekend away or take with you on a first date in case things heat up later!
The storage bag keeps the vibrator and charging cable together inconspicuously to ensure privacy.
Design
The body varies substantially from other bullets and smaller-sized vibrators as it comes with the addition of the finger piece. The back of the toy is straight and aligns perfectly with my finger, and the rounded tip is broad enough to cover the entirety of the clitoris for easy stimulation.
Battery Life and Charging
DiGiT comes with a small USB charging cord but not a charger. But since it’s a USB cord, it shouldn’t be a problem, as you can use a phone charger or computer to charge the vibrator.
According to the manual, the device takes 2 hours to charge and runs for around 40 minutes, which isn’t ideal. But it comes pre-charged out of the box, so you can get straight into it!
When I first tried to insert the charger into the charging port, I was met with some resistance. It felt like I would break the whole thing. Hence, I ended up forcing it in, and it charged just fine. After researching other reviews, I found that other people had experienced the same issue.
Strangely, the charging port is located in the middle of the body of the vibrator, which is unlike many other models with their charging port located on the bottom of the device.
Pro Tip: The port is uncovered, meaning extra attention is needed when cleaning the vibrator.
Controls
The controls are simple and intuitive, with only three buttons, making the device very easy to use.
- Hold the on/off button for a few seconds until the device turns on.
- On the opposite side are two buttons, one for controlling the speed and the other for controlling the vibration patterns.
- To change these, press the button for a few seconds and cycle through until you find your preferred settings.
- There are also five speeds and five vibration modes that make for a wide variety of settings to suit most people.
Changing the settings isn’t very easy when wearing it on your fingers, and I had to take off the vibrator each time I wanted to change the settings, which was a mood killer.
Who wants to fuss around with annoying settings when trying to get off?

How To Clean Hot Octopuss DiGiT?
The Hot Octopuss DiGiT is waterproof, making it fairly easy to clean. To clean the vibrator, wash it with soap and warm water, or use a sex toy cleaner.
However, cleaning may get a little complicated with sticky spills as the design of the finger holder creates hard-to-reach places and seams. Additionally, the charging port is exposed and placed right in the middle of the body of the toy, meaning fluids could easily get stuck in the small hole.
Pro Tip: To get into these hard-to-reach places, use a clean toothbrush along with soap and water.
How to use Hot Octopuss DiGiT?
- After unboxing the vibrator, first wash it using soap and warm water. I’d recommend charging it, too, as it may not last the whole 40 minutes out of the box, and no one likes a flat vibrator.
- Next, apply lube to the toy and your clitoris because wetter is always better.
- Then use the buttons on the side to turn it on and find your desired setting. I’d suggest doing it before you pop the finger on the plastic loops, as it’s pretty hard to do once it’s on.
- The manual points out that you can either use your index finger or middle finger as the finger that rests against the vibrator and controls pleasure. Initially, I used my pointer finger but found this to be a little odd, so I switched to my middle finger, which felt more natural.

My Personal Experience
Stimulations
It was admittedly my first time using a bullet-style vibrator. And I’d always thought they would not produce the kind of power I was searching for from a clitoral vibe. But, boy, was I wrong.
Although the DiGiT was tiny by design, it packed a punch when it came to vibrations. The power was strong and you could hear that in the low rumbling noises it was making.
Sound Level
Initially, I thought it sounded quite loud, so I whipped out my Unbound Bender, which was similar in size for comparison. Side by side, the Hot Octopuss DiGiT was slightly louder, but its low rumbly tones made the sound harder to detect from prying ears than the higher-pitched sounds of the Unbound Bender. It makes the vibrator a go-to if you need to keep the noise to a minimum while keeping the pleasure to a maximum.
Ease Of Use
I loved the finger piece since it allowed me to control the pressure of the vibrator easily. The finger piece also came in use during partnered play, allowing me to hold onto the toy firmly, even when I found myself in some precarious positions. In addition, it made shower play a lot easier as I didn’t have to worry about it becoming slippery and falling. I also imagine the finger piece would benefit those with limited use of their hands.
Minor Issues I Found During Testing
My main gripe with the Hot Octopuss DiGiT is the power and setting buttons are ergonomically designed to be used when wearing the vibrator in your hand. It’s a bit of a mood kill to take it off to change the settings when you’re in the middle of playtime and looking for extra vibes. The short battery time is also upsetting, as sometimes I’d like to use a toy for over 40 minutes.

The Fifty Shades of Grey Sensation is another small but effective vibrator. Made from silicone, it features a pebble-like shape that is easy to hold. Unlike the DiGiT, this vibrator runs for around three hours, even though it’s similar in all other dimensions. And at the amazing price of $44.99, it’s a go-to!
Dame Fin
Lastly, we have Dame Fin, which like the DiGiT, has a finger piece that allows you to hold the vibrator safely within your hand. However, It’s removable, making it a bit more versatile.
It only features three intensity levels but is made of silicone, lasts for one and a half hours, and is on the quiet end of the spectrum. The Fin will cost you $85.00
