I have said this many times, but the LELO packing is a set above most other sex toys. Every aspect of the packaging feels elegant, from the embossed matte black snakeskin box to the metallic text displayed throughout the packaging.
LELO even provides you with a little sachet of lube to get you started, which I love! The box also provides a USB charging cable, warranty card, manual, and storage pouch.
Material
The insertable length is covered in super soft silicone that is not only pleasurable to touch but also safe to use on the body. The control end is made from ABS plastic and feels sturdy enough to take whatever you can throw at it.
The only downside I found with the materials is that the buttons seemed a little lower quality than what I was used to from LELO products, as they feel like they could become jammed.
Dimensions
The LELO GIGI 2 is 6.5 inches long, 1.4 inches wide, and 1.3 inches deep. The insertable length is 3.7 inches long, with the same measurements for width and depth.
The GIGI 2 is slightly smaller than the average insertable G-spot vibrator, making it great for those exploring their sexuality.
Body
The body is fairly standard for an internal vibrator; however, it is a little smaller. One good thing about the GIGI is that it features a flattened tip that is perfect for stimulating the G area, but if you turn the Lelo vibrator around, you can also use the pointed edge to stimulate the clitoris nerve endings. This design makes the GIGI a compact and versatile toy, which is excellent for traveling.
Battery and Charging
The usage time is one of the best factors of this vibe, with up to 4 hours of battery life, from only 2 hours of charging. The device comes precharged; however, to extend the battery life, it’s always best to charge it once you open it.

How to use LELO GIGI 2?
- To use the LELO GIGI 2, first, remove it from the box and then place it on charge using the USB cord provided.
- Charging should take around two hours and will enhance the battery life.
- Once charged, clean the vibe using non-fragrant anti-bacterial soap and warm water, and leave it to dry.
- Now you’re ready to have some fun, so grab some water-based lubricant and lube up yourself, as well as the vibe.
- You can start with nipple stimulation to get you in the mood before moving on to the clit and G-spot. Or you can explore other erogenous zones, whatever feels best for you.

The up and down arrows control the toy’s eight vibrational patterns; use either control to work your way through each of them. What is excellent about these buttons is that you can go back to the previous pattern without having to circle through each of them, as you would if there was only one button.

How to use LELO GIGI 2 with a partner?
You can use LELO GIGI 2 with a partner in many different ways. If you and your partner both have vulvas, you could take turns with the toy, stimulating the clitoris and G-spot. Or you could switch it up and use the toy on yourself and provide a bit of a show for your partner.
Another fun way to incorporate the toy into your sex life is to have your partner use the toy on you, either on your clit, or internally while giving you oral sex. If you’d like to spice things up a little more, try using a blindfold for some sensory play.
How to charge LELO GIGI 2?
To charge the LELO GIGI 2, use the USB charging cord provided, plug the cylindrical end into the DC port, and plug the other end into a USB port such as the one on a phone charger or laptop.
When charging, the lights around the controls will flash white until they are charged, turning solid white. The charging process takes around two hours and will give you four hours of playtime, depending on the settings used.
My Personal Experience
Design
I liked certain aspects of the design of the GIGI but found it to lack other factors.
Firstly, the non-phallic appearance is a welcome design, as not everyone interested in G-spot stimulation wants to be reminded of a penis. The construction of the flat head, along with the more pointed tip, makes it an easy transition from the more precise stimulation of the G-spot to a broad stimulation of the clitoris. I also enjoy the high-quality silicone of the insertable end of the toy.
However, I was not too fond of the handle, as it was made from plastic and very short, making it hard to reach the sweet spot when using it for targeted G-spot pleasure. It made my hand very tired after a few penetrations due to the awkward angle with which I had to hold it. Another aspect I didn’t like about the handle was that it was made from plastic rather than silicone, making it hard to hold when it had lube or other liquids on it.
Ease Of Use
I would have liked to see the toy be a little bit bigger, comparable to other vibrators, as this would help increase the length of the handle, making it easier to hold, reach the right angles, and allow for deep penetration. The vibe isn’t the most girthy toy, either, making it suitable for those who have recently started exploring their sexuality but not so much for people who like something big.
Settings
There are 8 different vibrational settings on the GIGI 2, ranging from a quick pulse to a slow build-up, all of which you can increase or decrease in intensity. I found the range of patterns fun, although two seemed very similar to me, and I could not determine the difference.
Unlike other LELO products with the ‘()’ symbol to cycle the settings, the GIGI 2 has up and down arrows that allow you to go back and forth through the patterns. This design works well as you can quickly return to a pattern you like without cycling through every other pattern.
Stimulations
The stimulations were a letdown for this vibrator. While G-spot orgasms don’t happen for everyone, the GIGI didn’t provide enough power to even try to get there.
When I used it as a clit stimulation, the vibrations were ok when I used the pointed tip to apply direct pressure on my clit and used the continuous vibration mode. I would have loved the GIGI to have more powerful vibrations, similar to other insertable toys.
Build Quality
While the quality of the LELO GIGI2 was good, it was slightly below the standard of the higher-end LELO toys. I would have loved to see the handle covered in silicone like many of their other vibes, as this would make it much easier to hold when wet.
Charging
I love that it lasts up to four hours from a charging time of 2 hours, making it one of the longest-lasting toys I own and allowing me to spend less time worrying if it will die mid-session.
Sound Level
The GIGI 2 is whisper quiet, even at the highest setting, and you can’t hear it outside a bedroom door. This makes it perfect if you have roommates, as you will not be able to hear it over music or TV noise.

Cleaning and Maintenance
To clean the LELO GIGI 2:
- Use warm water and a fragrance-free, anti-bacterial soap you can find at your local supermarket.
- Give the toy a good clean, paying extra attention to the insertable parts. You can also use a sex toy cleaner, which usually comes in a spray or wipes and can be bought from LELO or other sex toy stores.
- Follow the instructions on the cleaner for the best results.
- Never use alcohol or other chemicals, as this may damage silicone toys.
Even though the vibe is waterproof, it’s best not to clean it in the dishwasher as this may damage the motor.
Once clean, wait for your vibe to dry before storing it away in a cool, dry place free from any dust or direct sunlight. And as always, give the toy a thorough clean before and after each use.
LELO GIGI 1 vs LELO GIGI 2
The GIGI 1 and GIGI 2 are similar in design but differ in the amount of power provided. The newer version offers twice as much power as the original model and is not completely waterproof!
How to squirt with LELO GIGI 2?
To squirt with the GIGI 2 personal massager, I recommend getting a partner to help you out, as the small handle makes this difficult to do alone.
To start, lube yourself and the toy, get your partner or self to insert the vibe into your vagina, and then lift it towards your belly button in a scooping motion. As there is no specific G-spot to be found, play around with this motion in this area and find what feels good for you. If you are unable to squirt from this, it’s perfectly fine. Enjoy the experience and move on if you want to.
If you’re still looking to squirt, you may notice the pressure building up, and it may feel like you are going to pee. This is an odd sensation and causes many people to stop. However, if you push past this sensation, you may be able to squirt!
